Abstract

Alingbao is a food and beverage business in the city of Padang. The concept of cultural acculturation combines the traditional food of a race, namely Minangkabau and Chinese. This design aims to optimize the function and structure of Alingbao packaging, maximize the shape and visuals of the packaging so that information and brand awareness of the product is conveyed to consumers and potential consumers. This design uses the 4D method which consists of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate with the development results in the form of pop-ups. The analysis method used is SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats). The main media in this design are three packages consisting of primary and secondary packaging. The supporting media for this design are social media, menu price lists, cups, hanging banners, aprons and tape. The main and supporting media in the design have also gone through a feasibility test in the form of a prototype. Meanwhile, the feasibility test indicators themselves consist of packaging layout, packaging visual elements, structure, function and packaging materials. This aims to ensure that the packaging is suitable and suitable for use.

Abstract

Deanke is an artisanal cookies business that sells online. The products offered by Deanke are specific in the field of cookies and brownies. The purpose of this Final Project is to produce a new packaging design for Deanke's cookies, by maximising the function of packaging as a means of product communication and branding to consumers so as to increase Deanke's brand awareness. The method used in this design is the 4D method consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate with data analysis method through SWOT Analysis. This design will produce the main media in the form of packaging and supporting media in the form of social media, menus, thank cards / gift cards, stickers, posters and x-banners which are tested for feasibility to the target audience. It is expected that through this packaging design can achieve the main objectives in maximising the function of packaging, through a better packaging structure and increasing Deanke's brand awareness.

Abstract

Tari Piring is a dance art from the cultural heritage of the Minangkabau tribe in West Sumatra. The design of educational media for Tari Piring aims to produce learning media as an additional literature study related to Tari Piring Minangkabau in photography. The problem encountered is the lack of learning media for Tari Piring  that contains traditional movements and the meaning of these movements based on print. Therefore, the photography in this design uses stop action and long exposure techniques to depict the movements of Tari Piring. To find solutions to these problems, the 4D method (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) was used. This method begins with defining the problem through data analysis and processing, followed by media design, development of initial designs to the dissemination stage. The existence of this design will produce an educational media that can be used as a learning media and additional literature study of Tari Piring and supporting the preservation of cultural heritage by designing several supporting media such as motion graphics, posters, x- banners, photocards, calendars, tumblers and stickers

Abstract

The community service described in this article aimed at offering solutions upon thelackof optimal empowerment of technological capabilities, and knowledge of creating teaching content for teachers at SMAN 1 V Koto Kp Dalam Padang Pariaman, in responding to the demands for ongoing digital learning. Based on the situation at school, these problems lead to two main problems, 1) the lack of teacher's ability to design digital teaching materials/teaching media and 2) the teacher's lack of understanding in choosing the right integrated digital learning application used to accommodate connections and collaboration between teachers and students. The solutions offered are providing a workshop that facilitates teacher to be able to create interactive teaching contents through digital multimedia application. Prior to the workshop, a need analysis was carried out to know the teachers’ perception on the use of digital multimedia application for learning process and what application would suit best to the teachers’ technological capability and situations. The results show teachers’ positive responds and needs of digital application to create teaching contents and a web-based application, namely Canva, was chosen to be taught. The teachers were then guided to produce teaching contents through several available features in Canva such as Presentation, Infographic, Worksheet and Video Making.

Abstract

BW Kurir berdiri dari tahun 2019 merupakan jasa layanan antar jemput barang, ojek online, pengantaran makanan, dokumen, dan lain-lain. BW Kurir memiliki peluang memudahkan masyarakat Lubuk Basung Sekitar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Temuan permasalahan dari BW Kurir yaitu memiliki logo, warna dan tipografi yang tidak konsisten sebagai identitas visualnya. Permasalahan tersebut membuat BW Kurir menjadi sulit dikenali oleh masyarakat sekitar, oleh sebab itu perancangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang identitas visual yang terkonsep dan memiliki filosofi. Perancangan menggunakan metode Glass Box sehingga mampu menghasilkan identitas visual yang konsisten atau mudah dikenal, meningkatkan brand, dan memudahkan promosi. Identitas visual BW Kurir meliputi Logogram, logotype, tagline, dan warna-warna yang akan digunakan dalam berbagai media berupa manual book, stationary set, jaket kurir, helm kurir, paper bag, x-banner, poster, dan feed Instagram .

Abstract

Social media has a huge influence on society, especially in legal interactions as well as social interactions, both positive and negative. The positive impact is that it provides convenience in accessing information from outside quickly, and also provides more ways to develop social skills also in formal education. Since the Law relating to Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) was implemented, there have been several restrictions created in terms of interaction between fellow social media users. This is intended to provide security so that the virtual environment in Indonesia, especially social media, is always clean, productive and ethical. The emergence of this new law has also become a new polemic among society, more precisely regarding freedom of expression. Those who feel restricted in society feel that there is abuse of the ITE Law by officials who silence any public criticism of state officials on social media. The higher the development of the digital world and information technology, the more will also have a big impact on Indonesian society. The journal aims to find out what impacts arise in the way people interact on social media from the ITE Law. Does the ITE Law have a good or bad impact on society and how is it implemented in the real world?

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang media promosi Toko Sepatu New Yap Yek melalui pendekatan audio visual mixed media yang menonjolkan nilai historis dan kualitas sepatu kulit handmade. Didirikan sejak 1928 di Kota Bukittinggi, New Yap Yek merupakan produsen sepatu lokal yang masih mempertahankan metode pembuatan manual. Perancangan ini meliputi media utama berupa video promosi berdurasi 90 detik, serta media pendukung seperti poster, banner, packaging, feed Instagram, dan merchandise. Hasil karya dirancang dengan identitas visual konsisten-menggunakan warna krem, merah, dan hitam, tipografi bergaya vintage, serta bahasa Indonesia ejaan lama. Video utama menggabungkan footage dokumenter, motion graphic, ilustrasi sepatu, serta footage sinematik model dan suasana alam, guna memperkuat storytelling. Media promosi ini tidak hanya menyampaikan informasi produk, tetapi juga membangun ikatan emosional melalui narasi sejarah dan pendekatan visual yang kuat.
