Abstract

Legal studies have two types of research, namely normative legal research and empirical legal research. According to Peter Mahmud Marzuki, normative legal research is a process to find a rule of law, legal principles, and legal doctrines to answer the legal problems faced. Normative legal research is carried out to produce new arguments, theories or concepts as prescriptions in solving problems at hand. The research of this article aims to find out the principles of contracting for professional football players so that professional sports players in entering into a business agreement can find the contract principles contained in contracts made by professional sports players. In theory, this article will examine the extent to which contracts in civil law that apply in general can be translated into contracts for professional sports players that will apply specifically or lex specialis because they contain elements of civil and business contracts in the form of a special contract that is characterized by a contract for Professional sports players, especially football.

Abstract

This research aimed at finding out symbols which are used in Angels and Demons novel. the meaning of the symbols in Angels and Demons novel, and the effect of the symbols in Angels and Demons novel. This research used descriptive method. The data were analyzed by using semiotic approach that was used to analyze the symbols in Angels and Demons novel. The results of the research show that there are thirteensymbols in the novel, they are Chapel Chigi and Fountain of Four River as settings, Illuminati. The Pyramid and 'Irinacria- Abbacuc and the Angel, Ekstase Sant' Teresa, Eanh, Air, Water. Fire. The Lone Dove. Logo CERN. and West Ponente as objects. The meanings of the symbols are Chapel Chigi is the name of Earth Chapel, Fountain of Four River glorified to the four of rivers. Illuminati is the symbol of ancient brotherhood. Abbacuc and the Angel are prophets who are predicted the destruction of earth, Earth is power. Air is intelligence, Water is emotion, Fire is ardor, The Lone Dove is the symbol of Pagan rvhich represents the angel of peace, Logo CERN is the sign of savagery, and West Ponente is the wind of God. The symbol had affected the whole story, Langdon had solved the marker, found the cardinals, found the assassin, and the Church lllumination, and proved that Illuminati has not died.

Abstract

Social media has grown rapidly and affects our everyday life. It helps many aspects in our life, including students’ life. Instagram, one of the top platforms to use in the world recently, can be brought to the classroom for student’s learning purpose. Therefore, this research aims to specifically investigate students’ perception toward its usefulness and ease for writing practice. The sample was 31 out of 66 students in English Literature Study Program in the Faculty of Languages and Literature of one state university in Makassar. The data were collected by distributing questionnaire and by interviewing half of the participants. The items in the questionnaire were adapted from Davis (1989) theory about Technology Acceptance Model Articles. Supporting data were taken from the result of an interview.  This research found that items in both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness majority received a positive response. Students’ knowledge of Instagram is an advantage in using it as a writing practice medium. The distraction from the learning process is the downside that frequently happened while using it. This indicates that Instagram is a useful media for writing practice.

Abstract

This study describes the perception of lecturer and students toward the English teaching methodology. The implementation of English teaching methodology underlay in nine aspects, namely: the use of lecturer’s utterances, the lecturer’s attitude, classroom rules, learning material, teaching media, learning activity, classroom interaction, classroom management, and assessment. In this study, the lecturer was the facilitator of the subject of English for Hotel and Restaurant. The students were the fourth semester students of Business English program, Faculty of Languages and Literature, State University of Makassar. Data on lecturer and students’ perception were taken by distributing questionnaires and giving interview questions. The data analysis showed that the students’ perception was categorized Positive towards the implementation of their lecturer’s English teaching methodology. This means that the students had a view that their lecturer had designed and implemented her teaching very well. Whilst, the lecturer’s perception was categorized strongly positive. This indicates that the lecturer had assured that her teaching program could help and facilitate her students to study well.

Abstract

Abstrak. Mitra Program Kemitraan Komunitas (PKM) ini adalah Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) SMP Bahasa Inggris di Kabupaten Maros. Masalahnya adalah: (1) selama pandemi dan pemberlakuan pembelajaran daring, kurang latihan-latihan yang membutuhkan interaksi langsung yang menggunakan bahasa Inggris, (2) kebutuhan para siswa untuk tetap bersosialisai dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris walaupun melalui media daring, (3) kurangnya kegiatan bahasa Inggris diluar kelas yang dapat melibatkan orangtua. Sasaran eksternal adalah peningkatan kompetensi para guru MGMP SMP Bahasa Inggris dalam penggunaan aplikasi daring Flipgrid dan peningkatan motivasi dan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk berbicara dan berinteraksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah: ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi, dan metode latihan atau praktek. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) mitra memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang cara menggunakan Flipgrid (2) pelatihan ini bisa menumbuhkan kebiasaan mengekplorasi berbagai aplikasi daring lain yang dapat menumbuhkan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Abstract

Mitra Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah guru-guru Bahasa Inggris Sekolah Menengah Pertama MGMP Bontomarannu Gowa. Masalahnya adalah: (1) pengajaran membaca teks bahasa Inggris yang monoton, (2) materi membaca yang tidak bervariasi, dan (3) rendahnya tingkat keterampilan membaca teks bahasa Inggris. Sasaran eksternal adalah model pengajaran membaca teks bahasa Inggris berbasis topik bisnis secara komprehensif yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam pengajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah: brainstorming, penyajian, konsultasi, dan refleksi. Hasil yang dicapai adalah para guru, baik sebagai pembaca maupun sebagai pengajar, mendapatkan pemahaman dan pengalaman mengenai praktek menerapkan strategi membaca teks bahasa Inggris: scanning, skimming, reading aloud, semantic mapping, dan reading and questioning berbasis topik bisnis secara komprehensif yang disesuaikan dengan tahapan kegiatan membaca dan tingkat kemampuan membaca. Di samping itu, para guru dapat membuat pemetaan atau kerangka pengajaran dan pembelajaran membaca teks bahasa Inggris secara komprehensif dengan mengintegrasikan dengan topik-topik bisnis: Planning, Managing/Organizing (How to do), Hiring/Recruiting (personal characters), Promoting, dan Marketing.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out and describe student perception of the implementation of storytelling enhancing their speaking skills the third-grade students at Sekolah Usaha Perikanan Menengah (SUPM) Bone. The researchers applied the descriptive method. The data was collected by questionnaire. In analyzing data, the researchers used the Likert scale which includes five-point scales: strongly agree, agree, undecided, disagree, and strongly disagree. The population of this research was 162 students in the third grade in the academic year of 2021/2022. The sample took by using the cluster random sampling technique. The results confirmed that the mean score of the student perception of the use of storytelling in improving students speaking is 40.35 which is categorized as strongly fine. The analysis of the student perception showed that the implementation of the storytelling method in the English learning method affected significantly student perception of attending the class during teaching English speaking.

Abstract

PKM ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah kesadaran hukum masyarakat terhadap kepemilikan sertifikat hak milik atas tanah di Desa Kadingeh Kecamatan Baraka Kabupaten Enrekang Faktor-faktor yang menghambat masyarakat tidak mensertifikatkan tanahnya di Desa Kadingeh Kecamatan Baraka Kabupaten Enrekang. PKM ini merupakan Pengabdian dengan metode penyuluhan dan pelatihan, jenis dan sumber data yang digunakan dalam PKM ini yaitu sumber data primer dan sekunder PKM menyimpulkan tingkat kesadaran hukum masyarakat Desa Kadingeh Kabupaten Enrekang rendah. Kesadaran hukum masyarakat Desa Kadingeh diukur berdasarkan empat indikator, yakni pengetahuan hukum, pemahaman hukum, sikap hukum, perilaku hukum. Pertama pengetahuan hukum, masyarakat Desa Kadingeh mengetahui ada produk hukum yang mengatur sertifkat tanah. Kedua pemahaman hukum, masyarakat Desa Kadingeh telah memahami manfaat pensertifikatan tanah, namun tidak mengetahui prosedur dan syarat pengurusan sertifikat tanah. Ketiga sikap hukum, masyarakat Desa Kadingeh setuju perlunya adanya sertifikat tanah. Empat perilaku hukum, masyarakat Desa Kadingeh memiliki perilaku hukum yang kurang taat yaitu tidak mengurus sertifikat tanah. Faktor-faktor yang menghambat masyarakat tidak mensertifikatkan tanahnya di Desa Kadingeh Kecamatan Baraka Kabupaten Enrekang yaitu Faktor kesibukan masyarakat, Faktor pemahaman hukum yang rendah Faktor biaya.kata kunci: Kesadaran hukum, sertifikat tanah, desa Kadingeh Abstract This PKM aims to find out how the community's legal awareness of ownership of land ownership certificates in Kadingeh Village, Baraka District, Enrekang Regency. Factors that hinder the community from not certifying their land in Kadingeh Village, Baraka District, Enrekang Regency. This PKM is a service with counseling and training methods, the types and sources of data used in this PKM are primary and secondary data sources. PKM concludes that the level of legal awareness of the people of Kadingeh Village, Enrekang Regency is low. The legal awareness of the Kadingeh Village community is measured based on four indicators, namely legal knowledge, legal understanding, legal attitude, and legal behavior. First, legal knowledge, the people of Kadingeh Village know that there is a legal product that regulates land certificates. The second is legal understanding, the people of Kadingeh Village have understood the benefits of land certificates, but do not know the procedures and requirements for obtaining land certificates. Thirdly, the legal attitude, the people of Kadingeh Village agree that there is a need for land certificates. Four legal behaviors, the people of Kadingeh Village have less obedient legal behavior, namely not taking care of land certificates. Abstract

Di Indonesia, olahraga profesional masih akan bergerak ke arah olahraga industri dan bisnis, karena selain prestasi olahraga, Indonesia juga menunjukkan banyak perselisihan/konflik internal, mulai dari konflik dalam kepengurusan organisasi olahraga hingga konflik/perselisihan internal antar pemain olahraga profesional, khususnya sepakbola yang menjadi salah satu pertikaiannya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penyelesaian sengketa kontrak dalam sepak bola profesional. Metode kajian menggunakan penelusuran kepustakaan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan sepak bola sebagai salah satu cabang olahraga profesional terpopuler di Indonesia. para pemain olahraga yang terlibat dalam olahraga tersebut mengikatkan diri dalam suatu kontrak kerja dimana kontrak tersebut merupakan bagian atau unsur penting dalam pengembangan olahraga profesional. Dalam kontrak pelaku olahraga diatur hal-hal yang menyangkut hak dan kewajiban pelaku olahraga, besaran pembayaran dan cara penyelesaian sengketa apabila terjadi sengketa kontrak.

Abstract

Abstrak. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan sistem hybrid pada pembelajaran English for Tourism dan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penerapan metode pembelajaran tersebut. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa-mahasiswa Angkatan 2020/2021 pada Prodi Bahasa Inggris D-IV yang dipilih secara purposif. Pengambilan data hasil observasi dan pertanyaan wawancara dan analisis melalui proses klasifikasi, interpretasi, dan kesimpulan dilakukan untuk penerapan metode pembelajaran. Sedangkan data persepsi mahasiswa dianalisis melalui angket Skala Likert. Temuan pertama menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan sistem hybrid pada pembelajaran English for Tourism berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Sembilan aspek yang menjadi indikator penerapan adalah (1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran berjalan baik, (2) kendala pembelajaran pada jaringan Internet dan organisasi kelas, (3) kemudahan akses, (4) pemanfaatan fitur-fitur Syamok yang mendukung, (5) pertemuan kelas yang alternatif, (6) interaksi kelas yang memilih antara kelompok dan individu, (7) penugasan yang mendukung pemahaman, (8) kegiatan pembelajaran yang terarah, dan (9) penjelasan materi yang mudah dipahami. Temuan kedua menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa adalah Sangat Positif dengan nilai rata-rata 43.05. Hasil ini didukung oleh respon mahasiswa yang mengalami kemudahan dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran, situasi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, penugasan yang dapat mengarahkan ke peningkatan keterampilan, pengetahuan, dan sikap, dan pilihan pembelajaran pada dua situasi daring dan luring. Sehingga penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan sistem hybrid pada pembelajaran English for Tourism masih membutuhkan organisasi kelas yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Sistem Hybrid
