Abstract

Durian seeds can used as as valuable flour and not inferior to other flour. This is will increase the economic value and its utilization. Durian seeds contain enough starch, had 8.79% protein, 85% carbohydrates, 980 mg calcium and 1300 mg phosphorus. Durian seed flour can be added in the ingredients of foods such as doughnuts, cakes, semprong, rempeyek, and brownies. That can increase the economic value of durian seed. Family welfare construction group (PKK) of Batu Belah and the Tanjung Bungo village is viable organization empowering women to participate in local development. The activities will be conducted on the increasing knownledge and technology. Furthermore, in this Community there are several development efforts, among other things: 1). Theory to enhance the knowledge about durian seed. 2). Training in the processing of durian seed flour. 3) Increased the motivation of the community. Activities carried out to increase the motivation of the community is the cooking competition in a variety of durian seed flour as kampar special souvenirs, 4) making of a Kampar special food reciepe book as souvenir. 5) marketing strategy. The results of the implementation of the activity that is a. Increased capacity in production system of making Durian Seed Flour; b. an increase in the production of Durian Seed Flour preparations; c. development of marketing strategy.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Type II is a degenerative disease. One of the factors causing Type II diabetes is nutritional knowledge. The purpose of this study is to analyze the nutritional knowledge and with the incidence of type II DM in water in 2017. The design of this research is cross sectional study design. The population in this study is the adult group (30-49 years) amounted to 600 people and the sample in this study amounted to 88 people with the technique of Accidental Sampling (Accidental Sampling). The study was conducted on May 16-26, 2017. The measurement tool used questioner and glucometer. Analysis of univariate data in the form of frequency and percentage and bivariate with statistical assessment. The results showed 41 (46,6%) of respondents mostly have good knowledge of nutrition, that is 48 (47,7%). The result of bivariate have relationship between nutritional knowledge with DM Type II incidence (p <0,05)

Abstract

Biscuits are one snack or snack that is consumed by people in Indonesia. Thepurpose of this research is the utilization of flour in making durian bij biscuits.This research is experimental design using Draft. This research is experimentaldesign using a complete Randomized Design (RAL) non factorial that iscomposed only of one factor, namely biscuit selected formulations with thesymbol BF all of which are repeated as many as 3 times (i = 1, 2, 3). Testanalysis of the difference of using test ANOVA and Duncan test information.Panelists are somewhat trained 25 people i.e. students Undergraduate Universitynutrition status of Hero Tuanku Tambusai. There is no difference in the additionof durian seed flour flavor, color, and aroma biscuits. There is a difference theaddition of durian seed flour against texture. Based on further testing of Duncan,the texture of the cookies is no different. Test results hedonik, formula biscuitsmost-favored by panelists is formula F2. durian seed flour addition seanyak 20%.

Abstract

Background: Gout arthritis is the disease because of purine abnormal metabolism marked by the increase of uric acid level in blood. Gout arthritis can also cause disorder in kidney. This research aims to analyze the correlation between protein consumption, nutrient status, and gout arthritis occurance on the visitors of Community Health Center Harapan Raya in 2019. Method: This research used cross sectional study design and was conducted on 11-29th of July 2019 with population all visitors at Community Health Center Harapan Raya Pekanbaru City and total samples were 87 people obtained by using Accidental Sampling. The techniques of data collection were by using questionnaire and food recall 2 x 24 hours method, body weight measurement and body height measurement and uric acid level check. Data analysis was by using univariate and bivariate with Chi Square test. The Result: Respondents’ protein consumption is categorized into low and their nutrient status is excessive. There is correlation between protein consumption (p=0.024) and nutrient status value (p=0.000). Conclusion: There is correlation between protein consumption, nutrient status and gout arthritis occurance on the visitors at Community Health Center Harapan Raya in 2019.

Abstract

Central obesity if the increase of body fat which its location is at abdominal area (stomach) and can cause various degenerative diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus type 2, and cardiovascular disease. The purpose of this research is to analyze the correlation between nutrition knowlege and fat consumption with central obesity occurance on housewives at West Sidomulyo Village in 2019. The type of this research was quantitative research with Cross-Sectional Design. The population of this research were 856 housewives age ≥ 35 years old at West Sidomulyo Village with total samples 169 people selected by using Purposive Sampling. The technique of data collection was questionnaire on nutrition knowledge and Food Recall 2x24 hours, stomach circumference measurement (LP), body weight, and body height. Data analysis was by using Chi-Square test. The results of univariate analysis show that almost half of respondents have good knowledege on nutrition (46.2%), almost half of respondents consume more fat (40.8%), and most of respondents experience central obesity (68%). The results of bivariate analysis with Chi-Square Test show that there is no significant correlation between nutrition knowledge and central obesity occurance (p=0.074), and there is significant correlation between fat consumption and central obesity occurance (p=0.001). Therefore, it is expected that the society consumes fat in line with their needs and always control their body weight and stomach circumference to stay normal.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan pertumbuhan linear yang lambat, dimana panjang atau tinggi badan yang tidak sesuai dengan usia. Stunting pada balita merupakan salah satu masalah gizi yang disebebkan oleh asupan protein dan ketahanan pangan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis hubungan asupan protein dan kerawanan pangan dengan kejadian stunting pada balita di masa pandemi. Jenis penelitian kunatitatif dengan desain Cross Sectional. Populasi yaitu 55 Ibu yang memiliki balita. Penelitian dilakukan pada Oktober 2020- Januari 2021., jumlah sampel 55 balita diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data asupan protein menggunakan kuesioner Food Recall 2 x 24 jam dan pengukuran kerawanan pangan menggunakan kuesioner Food Insecurity and Experience Scale (FIES). serta data status gizi yaitu TB menggunakan microtoice. Data dianalisis menggunakan secara univariat dan bivariate dengan uji Chi-Square. Abstract

The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic can cause changes in social conditions and affect the nutritional status of infants. The research objective was to analyze the relationship between maternal knowledge, occupation and history of exclusive breastfeeding with the nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months during the Covid 19 pandemic. This study was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The research sample was 62 mothers who had infants aged 6-12 months with total sampling technique. The research was conducted from January to March in Pulau Tinggi village, the working area of Puskesmas Kampar. The tools used are scales, and questionnaires. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The results showed that as many as 45 mothers (72.58%) lacked knowledge of mothers, 49 mothers (79.03%) did not work, 33 babies (53.23%) were given exclusive breastfeeding, and as many as 41 babies (66.1%) ) abnormal nutritional status. Meanwhile, bivariate analysis showed a relationship between maternal knowledge (p-value = 0.001) and history of exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.000), with the nutritional status of the baby. There is no relationship between maternal occupation and infant nutritional status (p-value = 0.058.) There was a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and history of exclusive breastfeeding with infant nutritional status and there is no relationship between maternal occupation and maternal nutritional status. It was recommended that health workers provide counseling to mothers to increase knowledge about balanced nutrition in infants. Keywords : maternal knowledge, history of exclusive breastfeeding, occupation, nutritional status of infants ABSTRAK Kondisi Pandemi covid-19 dapat menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan kondisi sosial dan mempengaruhi status gizi bayi. PTujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis hubungan faktor pengetahuan ibu, pekerjaan dan riwayat pemberian ASI ekskusif dengan status gizi bayi usia 6-12 bulan pada masa pandemi covid 19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah 62 ibu yang mempunyai bayi usia 6-12 bulan dengan teknik total sampling. Penelitian dilakukan pada Januari- Maret di desa Pulau Tinggi wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kampar. Alat yang digunakan timbangan, dan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sebanyak 45 ibu (72,58%) pengetahuan ibu kurang, 49 ibu (79,03%) tidak bekerja, sebanyak 33 bayi (53,23%) diberikan ASI ekslusif, dan sebanyak 41 bayi (66,1%) status gizinya tidak normal. Sedangkan analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan pengetahuan ibu (p-value=0.001) dan riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif (p-value=0.000), dengan status gizi bayi. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara pekerjaan ibu dengan sttaus gizi bayi (p-value=0.058.) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu dan riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan status gizi bayi dan tidak ada hubungan antara pekerjaan ibu dengan status gizi ibu. Disarankan kepda petugas kesehatan untuk memberikan penyuluhan kepada ibu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang gizi seimbang pada bayi.

Abstract

Balita adalah anak usia dibawah lima tahun yang ditandai dengan proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang terjadi sangat pesat. Pada masa ini, balita memerlukan zat-zat gizi yang jumlahnya lebih banyak dan berkualitas namun balita mudah menderita kelainan gizi dan rawan penyakit karena kekurangan makanan yang dibutuhkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan jumlah konsumsi biscuit PMT-P dengan kenaikan berat badan pada balita gizi kurang usia 12-24 bulan. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di puskesmas rawat inap muara fajar pada Bulan Mei-Agustus 2020 dengan jumalah sampel 52 balita. Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dengan ibu menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis univariat dan bivariate dengan uji Chi Square. Hasil analisa univariat menunjukkan sebanyak 29 balita (55,8%) naik berat badan dan 29 balita (55,8%) sesuai jumlah dalam mengkonsumsi biskuit PMT-P. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jumlah pemberian biskuit PMT-P dengan kenaikan berat badan balita gizi kurang dengan P value < 0.05. jumlah pemberian PMT-P yang sesuai dapat menaikkan berat badan pada balita gizi kurang.  Kata kunci: Balita gizi kurang, jumlah pemberian biskuit, kenaikan berat badan balita

Knowledge of nutrition and iron deficiency are factors that cause anemia in pregnant women. The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women is always increasing every year. Some efforts that can be made to increase hemoglobin levels are providing nutrition education. The aim of the study was to analyze the effect of nutrition education n the increase in hemoglobin levels of anemic pregnant women at Sidomulyo Public Health Center. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The study was conducted June 2020 with a total sample of 30 anemia pregnant women. The data collection techniques used to measure the knowledge of pregnant women were questionnaires, hemoglobin levels using the easytouch. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate with paired sample T-Test and Independent T-Test. The results showed that the average hemoglobin level in the control group before the intervention was 10.2 gr / dl, after the intervention was 10.6 g / dl and the treatment group before the intervention was 10.5 gr / dl and 11.4 gr / dl after the intervention. The results of the paired sample T-test in the control group and the treatment group (0.000), means that there is a significant difference in hemoglobin levels before and after the intervention. The results of the independent sample T-test between groups (0.000), means that there is a significant difference in hemoglobin levels between the control and treatment groups. The conclusion is that there is an effect of nutrition education on hemoglobin levels of anemic pregnant women.
