Abstract

The performance of educational staff becomes an important element in the institution. Based on the previous research, it can be concluded that the level of user satisfaction either from students (external) or from employees within Unsoed (Internal) categorized at the level of quite satisfied. Therefore, more efforts need to be done in order to improve the performance of educational staff. The research model using analysis with the following hypotheses, H1: Financial compensation has positive effect on employee satisfaction, H2: Promotion has positive effect on employee satisfaction, H3: Financial compensation has positive effect on employee performance, H4: Promotion has positive effect on performance employees, and H5: job satisfaction has positive influence on employee performance. This research was conducted in Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed), using quantitative methods. The research target was all education personnel in all unit in Unsoed with a total sample of 256 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed using statistical analysis. The result from the statistical analysis showed that the financial compensation was in a good category. Financial compensation has a significant influence on job satisfaction that is equal to 0.578. The promotion has been perceived as a good thing by the employees, and promotion has a significant influence on job satisfaction statistically which is equal to 0.545. Financial compensation has a significant influence on employee performance that is equal to 0.845. The promotion has a significant influence on employee performance that is equal to 0.680, statistically. The employees experienced a good job satisfaction, which encourages them to work better. Statistically, job satisfaction has a significant influence on employee performance that is equal to 0.730. The influence of financial compensation to the employees performance was increased from 49.9 percent to 69.5 after job satisfaction variables included as mediating variable. The result of Sobel test confirmed that job satisfaction was capable to mediate the influence of financial compensation to the employee performance, significantly. The influence of promotion to employee performance was increased from 42 percent to 64.7 percent after included job satisfaction as mediating variable. Sobel test showed that that job satisfaction was capable to mediate the influence of promotion to employee performance, significantly.

Abstract

Banyaknya kasus perceraian dan keluarga “rawan cerai” di Kecamatan Sumbang menuntut peranserta yang lebih besar dari organisasi Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) di kecamatan ini untuk mencegahnya, antara lain melalui kegiatan penyuluhan. Dalam kenyataannya, tingkat kemampuan para pengurus organisasinya baik di tingkat kecamatan maupun desa untuk melakukan penyuluhan yang sesuai dengan permasalahan kebutuhan komunitas setempat masih rendah. Untuk itu dilakukan upaya peningkatan kapasitas kepada mereka melalui kegiatan pelatihan sehari. Sasarannya adalah 24 orang yang terdiri dari Pengurus PKK Kecamatan Pokja I dan Ketua PKK Desa di semua desa. Metodenya adalah pemberian empat materi yang dibutuhkan yakni: (1) Peran strategis PKK dalam Pemberdayaan Keluarga dan Peningkatan Ketahanan Keluarga, (2) Pembangunan Keluarga dan Ketahanan Keluarga, (3) Fenomena Perceraian di Kecamatan Sumbang, serta (4) Penyuluhan Berbasis Komunitas Berperspektif Gender. Pemberian materi dilakukan secara interaktif melalui teknik ceramah dan diskusi yang diakhiri dengan pendampingan pembuatan Rencana Tindak lanjut (RTL). Evaluasi diberikan dengan memberikan sejumlah pertanyaan/pernyataan untuk masing-masing materi melalui teknik pre-test dan post-test yakni pengisian sebelum dan setelah pemnberian materi. Dengan teknik ini diketahui adanya peningkatan pengetahuan yang diterima setelah pemberian materi dari ke-4 materi tersebut. Diketahui pula adanya peningkatan sensitivitas gender melalui RTL yang dibuat yang tidak hanya menyertakan kelompok perempuan/istri sebagai sasaran penyuluhan ketahanan keluargannya, melainkan juga kelompok laki-laki melalui forum RT/RW dan Karang Taruna.Kata kunci: penyuluhan ketahanan keluarga berbasis komunitas berperspektif gender, ketahanan keluarga, keluarga rawan cerai, Kecamatan Sumbang.

Abstract

The reduction of kelurahan (Sub-District Government) authority has decreased its duties and functions after the implementation of the Law No. 23/2014 on Local Governance. This policy stimulates several kelurahan at Wonosobo Region to propose their villages’ status changing from kelurahan into desa (Rural Government). Based on this case, this research aims to analyze the actual performance of kelurahan, and the motives of the village status changing. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach to answer those objectives.Observation, in-depth interview and focus group discussion are used to obtain data from informants who represent kelurahan, local government, non-government organizations and community leaders. Technique ofdata analysis of this research uses interactive data analysis including collecting, condensing, and describing data which is ended by conclusion. Results of study show that although the main function and tasks of kelurahan has decreased significantly, in general, the performance in service area still satisfies the public. However, services for development of public facilities are still far from public expectation. Furthermore, this research also found that there are 4 aspects encouraging the kelurahan to change into desa, namely economic, political, geographical and community profile motives. Implication of this research leads to the need of strengthening of kelurahan particularly in developing physical facilities provision service. It is intended to anticipate the possibility of kelurahan which will be left behind by desa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of work motivation, employee commitment, and work discipline on the performance of civil servants of Cilacap Regency either partially or simultaneously. The research method used is survey. Samples were taken by proportionate stratified random sampling method. While the data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed with multiple linear regression statistics. The results showed that the performance of Cilacap Regency civil servants in moderate category. The result of the analysis of the variables is known that jointly work motivation, employee commitment, and work discipline affect the performance of 42%, while the remaining 58% is influenced by other variables outside the research model. The results of this study provide input to the government of Cilacap Regency to pay attention to work discipline and work motivation to improve the performance of civil servants. This can be done through improving regulatory understanding, encouraging employees to be consistent, creating honest competition, rewarding employee performance, and creating a harmonious and familial working environment. Abstract

Kota Tanpa Kumuh (KOTAKU) program is national program to increase infrastructure acces and basic service in urban slum area. Desa Sokaraja Kidul is one of the areas implementing KOTAKU program. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of KOTAKU program at Desa Sokaraja Kidul using What’s Happening perspective by Ripley and Franklin. This research is using qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of Program KOTAKU (KOTAKU) in Desa Sokaraja Kidul based on dimensions in the perspective of What’s Happening by Ripley and Franklin hasn’t optimal. The following results of the research based on the perspective dimensions of What’s Happening: 1) The Profusion of actors, found that the role of actors at the community level such as BKM and KSM has not been optimal. 2) The Multiplicity and vagueness of goals, The purpose of the KOTAKU Program are understandable and implementing actors understand the program's purposes. 3) The Poliferatin and complexity of government programs, coordination and communication have been effective, policy changes that occur but didn’t have significant impact on the program implementation, Guidelines for program implementation have been made but actors at the community level are not aware of the guidance, the sustainability step in the implementation procedure has not optimally implemented. 4) Community Participation, the people of Desa Sokaraja Kidul support and participate in the implementation of the program. 5) Influencing factors, the funds allocated have not been able to solve all slum problems and social and cultural conditions are factors driving implementation while economic conditions are becoming obstacles to implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of cooperation between villages based on agrotourism in the Kendeng Mountains, Somagede District, Banyumas Regency as a model for developing rural areas in Banyumas Regency. The research was conducted in three villages in Somagede District, i.e., Tanggeran, Klinting, and Kemawi, and served as a pilot project for rural area development. Qualitative method is conducted through meetings with informants from all village officials and tourism business actors in the three collaborating villages and members of the Rural Area Development Coordination Team. This study employs qualitative method utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, documentation, and focus group discussion (FGD), while the findings were analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The results showed that the cooperation between the villages of Kemawi, Klinting, and Tanggeran in developing agrotourism-based rural areas did not yield the expected results. The failure is due to the absence of cooperation norms among members, the identification of common needs that must be resolved through inter-village collaboration, and the low commitment of the village heads to prioritize and carry out all program plans. The cooperation also fails because of the lack of support from the local government during program implementation and the absence of monitoring and evaluation activities at each stage of the implementation of inter-village cooperation.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the influence of leadership on loyalty, the influence of work culture on loyalty, the influence of the work environment on loyalty, the influence of interpersonal communication on loyalty, and the effect of workload on loyalty. This research method is a quantitative method with a survey through online questionnaires distributed through social media. The questionnaires were designed using a Likert scale of 1 to 7. Respondents to this study were 269 senior public health center employees who were determined by simple random sampling. Data analysis used the structural equation modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS 3.0 software tools. The stages of data testing are validity, reliability, termination and hypothesis testing. The independent variables in this study are Leadership, Work Culture, Work Environment, Interpersonal Communication and Workload. The dependent cariabel in this research is Loyalty. The results of hypothesis testing show that leadership has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, work culture has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, work environment has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, workload has a positive and significant effect on loyalty.
