Abstract

Generation Z is the generation whose births began in 1995 to 2010. The generation that has the principle of enjoying life in the present without worrying about life in the future. This can be seen by the choice of generation Z to shop rather than setting aside money for the future or investing. So with the design of a social campaign the importance of financial education with Antam's gold investment among generation Z in Palembang city to solve problems that occur and invite generation Z to starting investing so that in the future generation Z will be better financially, the method used in this design is using the 5W + 2H method in solving problems that occur. The result of this design is a social campaign about financial education about the importance of investing in Antam gold coins among generation Z in Palembang city through interactive media in conveying information about social campaigns and inviting generation Z to start investing in Antam gold coins

Abstract

Produk kerajinan merupakan salah satu bagian dari sektor industri kreatif yang sangat menjanjikan untuk dikembangkan. Kelebihan utamanya adalah, bahan baku yang melimpah, mudah ditemukan serta tidak membutuhkan modal yang besar untuk mengembangkan industri kerajinan ini. Melihat potensi tersebut maka tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan stimulus bagi warga Desa Panca Tunggal agar memiliki kemampuan dan keterampilan dalam mengolah limbah kayu menjadi produk kreatif. Adapun produk-produk kreatif yang dibuat berupa souvenir pernikahan, gantungan kunci, asbak, pot bunga hias, gagang pancing, dan stand handphone (HP). Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan semangat berkreativitas untuk membangun industri kerajinan agar mampu meningkatkan perekonomian warga. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi observasi dan wawancara, ceramah dan diskusi, demonstrasi dan evaluasi. Hasil produk kerajinan yang dibuat oleh peserta pelatihan secara keseluruhan sudah memenuhi nilai fungsi dan nilai estetis serta sudah mampu melihat kebutuhan pasar seperti membuat souvenir gantungan kunci yang bisa digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan souvenir penikahan.

Abstract

The author is interested in researching the Tri account's Instagram feed after the merger with Indosat because each operator has a social media account, especially Instagram. After the two operators merged, of course the two operators thought about and displayed advertisements and information with a new concept. The research method used is Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis because it is a tool to explore the sign system behind the visual content of Tri's Instagram account. This research is also qualitative in nature so that it can produce research that is thorough, argumentative and can be a reference for further research. The results obtained based on this research are Tri Caring for Young People's Achievements, Educating on the Importance of Investment, Supporting the Progress of Indonesian Women and Supporting Content Creators.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi sekarang usaha kerajinan merupakan salah satu alternatif bisnis yang cukup menjanjikan untuk dikembangkan sebagai upaya meningkatkan perekonomian warga dan merupakan salah satu produk budaya yang kini menjadi komoditi negara untuk meningkatkan devisa. Kerajinan merupakan kegiatan kreatif dalam mengolah produk atau barang yang menggunakan bahan utama yang disediakan oleh alam seperti kayu, rotan, bambu, akar kayu, daun, kerang, dan lain sebagainya. Pada umumnya kerajinan dilakukan oleh tangan yang memiliki fungsi estetis dan memiliki nilai jual, sehingga mampu meningkatkan perekonomian warga setempat dan mampu menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan baru. Tujuan utama dari pelatihan ini merupakan stimulus bagi masyarakat setempat untuk melatih dan mengembangkan keterampilan mereka, sehingga mampu mengolah sumber daya alam yang ada salah satunya adalah akar kayu. Produk kerajinan yang dihasilkan dari program ini cukup memuaskan, hal ini ditandai dari berbagai jenis produk yang telah dibuat sudah layak di pasarkan dan dipamerkan kehadapan publik.

Abstract

Abstract: Vegetables are leaves (like mustard), plants (bean sprouts), pods or seeds (capri, chickpeas) etc. that can be cooked (KBBI, 2012). The main study of this research focuses on identification, analysis and design on board game prototype works and other supporting media. This design uses design thinking planning methods including premedia, main media and follow up media. Data was collected through, observations, questionnaires, interviews, literature and websites. The data is then identified, classified, selected, then analyzed using the method (5W+1H),and interpreted according to the text and context. The design of the board game Social Campaign as a medium for introducing various vegetables to children aged 6-12 years is used as a visual communication medium which is in this design discussion. This design aims to introduce purple vegetables and the benefits of purple vegetables to the target audience, namely children aged 6-12 years. In this design, the media produced are board game s, posters, t-shirts, books, pens, pouches, tumblers, bags, and hats.

Abstract

Abstract: Palembang City is one of the cities that has a lot of cultural history and traditional snacks. As the capital city of South Sumatra, Palembang has traditional food  with savory, spicy, fresh to sweet flavors that are not to be missed. In terms of geographical conditions, Palembang City is divided by the Musi River into two large parts called Seberang Ulu and Seberang Ilir. Kue suri is one of the traditional snacks that has been around since the 80s. The main study in this study is focused on identification, analysis and design on the design work of pacakaging suri cakes, and other supporting media. This Promotion design uses the main media, pre-media, and other design methods. The data is then identified and analyzed using the Design Thinking method  which is interpreted according to the text and context. Design Visual communication of suri cakes as a typical snack of Palembang City which is part of this design discussion. This design aims to invite teenagers and the people of Palembang City to preserve the local wisdom of this Palembang City suri cake.

Abstract

Abstract : Bangka Belitung has one of the unique beach tourism such as Tanjung Kalian Beach. Tanjung Kalian Beach is a natural tourism and historical tour in Bangka Belitung Province, precisely on the island of Bangka. The uniqueness of Tanjung Kalian Beach has a lighthouse icon. A lighthouse is a tower building with a light source at the top to aid ship navigation. The lighthouse is also a silent witness to the occurrence of World War II at Tanjung Kalian Beach. To preserve the history of the lighthouse and World War II and provide information on the beauty of Tanjung Kalian Beach. So, it is necessary for designers to promote Tanjung Kalian Beach as a tourist icon of Bangka Belitung. This design method uses Design Thinking. Design thinking is a tool used in a problem solving, in the process using 5W+2H analysis. The main design media uses documentary videos that are packaged using virtual reality. The design of the Tanjung Kalian Beach promotion was carried out with the aim that the public would become familiar with Tanjung Kalian Beach and become a reference for people's holiday spots to Tanjung Kalian Beach so that it would be known to the public as a tourism icon of Bangka Belitung.

Abstract

Abstract : Deafness is a general term that indicates difficulty hearing from mild to severe, classified into deafness and hearing loss. This is because Bisindo comes from the mother tongue, which is the Indonesian language that is used daily, and one movement can represent a word that is also widely known among non-deaf people. This design using Design Thinking method there are several stages such as (Empathize) understand the problem, (Define) identify the problem, (Ideate) find ideas, (Prototype) realize the idea, and (Test) the application of the results. The data collection process is done by, interviews, observations, questionnaires, literature and websites. The data obtained were then processed and analyzed using the method (5W+1H). From the results of this problem resulted in a Visual Communication Design Bisindo Alphabet for the Deaf in Palembang. The purpose of this design is to understand communicating through the Bisindo Alphabet by using conceptual and interesting visual communication elements. and how to communicate with the deaf informative through learning the Alphabet Bisindo. In this design, the media produced such as media Board Education, posters, catalog of works & catalog Alphabet Bisindo, T-shirts, notebooks, hearing aids, X-banners, stickers, Pointing Devices, Tote bags, Instagram feeds, brochures.

Abstract

Abstract: Plastic is widely used as packaging because it has many advantages and general properties such as being resistant to chemicals, insulating against heat and electricity, light and flexible. At this time, people in the city of Palembang still find it difficult to limit the use of plastic bags. It is hoped that public awareness of the negative impacts can contribute more by carrying shopping bags that can be used many times. Therefore, according to the designer, shopping bags of various types can be made wrong. One solution to reduce the use of plastic bags in Palembang City.

Abstract

Abstract: Farming activities are more specific to the agricultural sector which can support the economic needs of the community. People have become accustomed to doing the conventional system in agriculture, namely by cultivating the land first and then waiting for the rain to fall is the right time to plant. Of course, this is not an effective activity when compared between the past and today as it is today. The research method used in this design is 5W+2H Public knowledge about the use of vegetable cultivation through hydroponic systems is still minimal and no one has made social campaigns about vegetable cultivationthrough hydroponic systems, then it is necessary to design a social campaign for vegetable cultivation through a hydroponic system in Palembang City by making the main media motion graphic videos on how to cultivate vegetables through a hydroponic system which is expected to make the target target to understand how to cultivate vegetables through a hydroponic system by utilizing makeshift land and willing to practice it at home so that starting from a small environment the community can be self-sufficient in food.
