Abstract

Cina dan Indonesia adalah sumber utama botol plastik, tas dan sampah lain yang menyumbat jalur laut global (McCarthy, 2018). Untuk itu perlu dilakukan upaya guna mengurangi permasalahan tersebut, salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengolah kembali limbah tersebut menjadi sesuatu yang berguna, salah satunya sebagai bahan pengganti agregat penyusun perkerasan jalan sehingga dalam perencanaan biaya perkerasan jalan akan berkurang. Hal inilah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini dimana penggunaan limbah plastik akan digunakan sebagai bahan pengganti campuran pada aspal. Limbah plastik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis low density polyethylene (LDPE), jenis limbah plastik yang banyak dihasilkan namun kurang dimanfaatkan karena dinilai kurang menarik dan memiliki harga jual yang rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan LDPE sebagai pengganti agregat campuran AC-WC yang ditinjau dari karakteristik Marshall pada Kadar Aspal Optimum (KAO) yang kemudian dilakukan penggantian sebagian dari total agregat. Variasi kadar LDPE yang digunakan adalah 0%, 2%, 4%, 6% dan 8%. Setiap variasi dibuat sebanyak tiga buah sampel. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwa dengan penggantian LDPE dalam range 0.1% - 4% cenderung meningkatkan Nilai Stabilitas, VIM, VMA dan Marshall Quotient (MQ), dan nilai Flow dan VFB cenderung menurun. Dengan sebuah perencanaan perkerasan jalan dengan lebar 7 m, tebal 6 cm dan panjang 1 km setelah melakukan substitusi terhadap berat total agregat campuran dapat menghemat biaya perencanaan sebesar Rp. 78.720.030 dan mengurangi jumlah plastik sebanyak 12.933,99 kg.

Abstract

This study highlights  the influence of learning effectiveness and learning independence on the learning outcomes of the "Kebung Hattaan" course based on an sconomic perspective.  Bung Hatta is highly active in offering insights on economic concepts, particularly focusing on the core economic values he aims to promote, which include the value of ownership, justice, togetherness, and brotherhood. His notable economic philosophy emphasizes the people's economy, advocating for the development of the economy for farmers, fishermen, and others through cooperative efforts. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence  of learning effectiveness and learning independence on learning outcomes. This study used 232 respondents who were randomly selected.  The collected data was processed using SPSS software and the hypothesis was proven by multiple regression. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of learning and learning independence affect student learning outcomes

Abstract

The Big Ben (Jam Gadang) is a tower building of 28.295 meters height positioned as the landmark and the heritage of both Bukittinggi city and West Sumatra province. It was built in 1926 by architects Yazin and Sutan Gigi Ameh as the gift from the Queen of the Netherlands to the controleur (secretary of Bukittinggi City). Major perception of the people that Jam Gadang was build by using masonry for the entire building. Following massive earthquakes in 2007 the Indonesian Heritage Trust in cooperation with the Shared Heritage Program of the Netherlands initiate full investigation of the tower. The activity was aimed at gathering data of the structure and analyzes the reliability of the current structure of the building. The result of such activities found that the construction of Jam Gadang consist of reinforced concrete with the compressive strength ≥ 25Mpa on average, the foundation consists of full stone with the prism shape until -1,800 mm. The column have a dimension with variation of 800 mm x 800 mm at the first floor and 400 mm x 400 mm at the top floor of the tower, with 18 mm longitudinal and 10 mm shear reinforcement, the beam and plate have the composite structure of steel beam H 105.90.10.25. The modeling and analysis of the structural reliability of Jam Gadang tower for earthquake load based on the Indonesian Code SNI-03-2847- 2002, with maximum lateral deformation of (δmax) 63.00 mm which is smaller than lateral deformation limit of 83.70 mm.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an animated learning video integrating Randai, a traditional performing art rooted in Minangkabau local wisdom, as a culturally responsive learning medium to foster creativity among vocational students. In response to the limited use of innovative and culturally contextualized media in environmental ethics learning, this research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. During the Define stage, a needs analysis was conducted to align the video content with environmental impact materials. In the Design stage, a narrative script based on Randai was created, followed by the development of storyboards and video production using Powtoon. Expert validation was carried out in the Develop stage, and product testing involving vocational students occurred in the Disseminate phase. Research instruments included validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and creativity assessments. Data were analyzed descriptively using percentage calculations. The results show that the developed animation video is considered valid by experts (89%) and highly practical by students (88%). Moreover, it significantly enhances students’ creative thinking skills, particularly in fluency, flexibility, and originality. This study contributes to the field by demonstrating how local cultural heritage can be effectively integrated into digital learning media, supporting the development of 21st-century skills while promoting cultural preservation in vocational education contexts.

Abstract

Background: Budidaya lebah kelulut adalah salah satu program yang dikembangkan melalui program Koperasi Kampung Temenin Kota Tinggi Berhad di Negeri Koto Tinggi Johor Malaysia dengan 2 Universitas yaitu Universitas Bung Hatta, Indonesia dan Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Usaha budidaya lebah kelulut yang dikembangkan koperasi ini masih berbasis dengan metode tradisional yaitu penggunaan rumah sarang kelulut dan penopang rumah sarang kelulut masih terbuat dari kayu. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membuat inovasi baru dalam pembuatan rumah lebah kelulut dan penopang dari material semenfero sehingga dapat lebih meningkatkan jumlah madu dan perekonomian masyarakat di Kampung Temenin ini. Metode: Pengabdian dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembuatan rumah lebah kelulut berbahan semen fero kepada peternak lebah kelulut. Hasil: Penggunaan inovasi semen fero menciptakan lingkungan yang baik dan aman bagi lebah sehingga produksi madu menjadi meningkat. Peningkatan produksi madu terjadi sebanyak 20 % dimana dari 55 log diperoleh madu sebanyak 22 liter. Kesimpulan: Penggunaan semen fero sebagai material pembuatan kotak dan penopang sarang kelulut membuat kotak sarang lebah menjadi lebih kuat dan aman dari gangguan binatang lain. Dengan kondisi kotak yang baik maka jumlah madu yang dihasilkan lebah menjadi meningkat.
