Abstract

Berbagai software reference manager yang bisa dimanfaatkan dalam menunjang penulis dalam  menyusun sebuah artikel salah satunya adalah Mendeley. Mendeley merupakan piranti lunak yang memiliki kemampuan dalam mengolah database ilmiah berupa e-book, e-journal, dan referensi lainnya. Mendeley berfungsi sebagai library yang disertai dengan kemampuan sebagai pengolah daftar pustaka dalam penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui aplikasi zoom meeting. Kegiatan ini dihadiri sebanyak 17 peserta yang semuanya merupakan mahasiswa pendidian geografi Universitas Nusa Cendana. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu tahapan pra-pengabdian masyarakat, kedua tahapan pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat dan ketiga tahap tindak lanjut atas pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil feedback dari peserta diketahui bahwa semua peserta mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi mereka terutama dalam penyusunan tugas akhir.

Abstract

Hasil sensus penduduk tahun 2010 yang dilakukan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) menunjukkan bahwa ada sekitar 157.053.112 ribu jiwa penduduk Indonesia berada pada kelompok umur usia produktif. Analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan interpretasi data berbasis kajian kepustakaan (literatur review), dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang terdiri dari hasil proyeksi penduduk yang dikeluarkan oleh Badan Perencanaan Nasional (Bappenas) dan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) tahun 2010-2035. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Proyeksi Penduduk yang dikeluarkan oleh Bappenas dan BPS bahwa pada tahun 2020 jumlah penduduk Indonesia yang berada pada kelompok umur usia produktif sebesar 183.517.329 jiwa penduduk atau 57% dari total penduduk Indonesia. Sebagian besar wilayah di Indonesia pada tahun 2020 mengalami bonus demografi, namun beberapa provinsi ternyata belum bisa menikmati bonus demografi pada tahun 2020, karena memiliki angka rasio beban ketergantungan 50% atau lebih, seperti Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, Provinsi Aceh, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, Provinsi Sumatera Barat, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara, Provinsi Maluku dan Provinsi Maluku Utara.

Abstract

The Millennial Generation is an indicator that is expected to be able to compete in the digital era and be able to create a golden generation in 2045. This research aims to describe the opinions of the millennial generation regarding the SDG's goals: decent work goals and economic growth (case study of Mulawarman University students). The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberman. The results of research from 344 respondents showed that 71% of Mulawarman University students were interested in entering the world of work after graduating from college and the percentage of becoming employees was 38.2%, 30.3% opened up employment opportunities and 31.5% chose others. Mulawarman University students have a very high level of worry about the future which also influences their thinking patterns, namely 85% and often compare themselves with other people, namely 61.5%. Opinions on how to realize SD's goals of decent work and economic growth by providing opinions about interests and promising economic sectors in the future, namely agriculture at 9%, animal husbandry 18.9%, mining 2.9%, technology and digital 35.2% , finance 1.5%, trade 2.9%, health 19.5%, fashion 1.7%, plantations 2%, others 6.4%. The research results show that Mulawarman University students' opinions regarding decent work and economic growth in the future are more about utilizing technology and digital.

Abstract

Learning is the core of an education has an important role in advancing the welfare and human resources, one of which is in terms of teaching and learning. The purpose of this study is to determine learning styles, student motivation and student responses in learning geography. Geography learning styles that will be the focus of researchers in this study are visual, auditorial, and kinesthetic learning styles Motivation is one of the steps or factors that can encourage students to behave using feelings and reactions in geography learning activities. The results of research on class X students consisting of 34 female students, class XI consisting of 26 female students and class XII consisting of 35 male students at MA Darul Ihsan Samarinda. Based on the results of the study, the majority of learning styles owned by class X students are visual as many as 34 students, then class XI students are mostly kinesthetic as many as 26 students, as well as class XII the majority of kinesthetic learning styles as many as 35 students Each class has a different learning style and has each learning style. Every student basically has motivation in themselves, be it external or internal motivation. The sample in this study was class X consisting of 34 female students, XI IPS1 consisting of 26 female students, XII IPS2 consisting of 35 male students at MA Darul Ihsan Samarinda. The sample technique used is Random Sampling. Based on the results of data recap that has been done on the student learning motivation questionnaire has motivation in the good category, from these results it can be said that 34 students have good motivation, then in the category as many as 26 students have a category Less, then as many as 35 students have a good category. Based on data analysis that has been carried out on student learning responses in classes X and XI, it is found that student learning responses are in the good category with a total of 60 students or equivalent to 64%. Then in the very good category with 35 students or equivalent to 65%. The high learning response can be seen from the various indicators that have been analyzed.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan di SDN 013 Kecamarinda Samarinda Kota, Kota Samarinda Provinsi Kalimantan Timur pada tanggal 7 Mei 2024 yang diikuti oleh 30 peserta didik. Tujuan kegiatan PkM untuk melakukan pendampingan literasi lingkungan dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan tanggap bencana peserta didik SDN 013 Samarinda Kota. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilakukan melalui metode sosialisasi dan penyuluhan dengan strategi ceramah bervariasi dan melalui penyampaian materi kebencanaan (khususnya bencana banjir) dan permainan sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan diperoleh hasil sebesar 83% peserta didik mengatakan dapat memahami materi dengan baik dan 89% guru menjawab kegiatan PkM sangat membantu dalam mengimplementasikan pemahaman tentang lingkungan di sekolah. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu terlaksana dengan baik sesuai dengan harapan tim pengabdi dan para peserta, dimana peserta didik mampu mengimplementasikan pemahaman tentang literasi lingkungan terhadap kemampuan tanggap bencana di sekolah dan sekitarnya

Abstract

Tourism is a sector that has a large role in national development. One example of the development of the tourism sector in the city of Samarinda is the addition of agricultural land. This research aims to determine the role and impact of rice field tourist attractions.  This research was carried out in Lempake Village, North Samarinda. Research data was collected using observation, interviews and documentation and using qualitative descriptive methods. The results of this research show that the role of the community fully supports the existence of the Sawah Pandang tourist attraction moving in the agricultural sector, which is carried out by the tourist attraction manager and the surrounding community. This tourist attraction collaborates with the community who act as initiators, implementers, providing opinions, and as evaluation monitors in the development of the tourist attraction. The impact on the community around the tourist attraction with this tourism is that in this case it includes environmental conditions where the local community already feels that the environment is the main attraction of tourist activities which positively influences the lives of the surrounding community, opening up many opportunities.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was carried out at SDN 013 Kecamarinda Samarinda City, Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province on May 7, 2024, which was attended by 30 students. The purpose this activities is to provide environmental literacy assistance in order to improve the disaster response ability of SDN 013 Samarinda Kota students. This mentoring activity is carried out through socialization and counseling methods with varied lecture strategies and through the delivery of disaster materials (especially flood disasters) and simple games. Based on the results of the activity, 83% of students said they could understand the material well and 89% of teachers answered that PKM activities were very helpful in implementing an understanding of the environment at school. The conclusion of this service activity is that it is carried out well in accordance with the expectations of the service team and the participants, where students are able to implement an understanding of environmental literacy on disaster response skills in schools and surrounding areas
