Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui performansi beberapa galur mutan cabai generasi M3 pada berbagai tingkat cekaman salinitas pada viabilitas dan vigor benih serta vegetatif tanaman, dan interaksi antara kedua faktor. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Benih dan Rumah Kasa Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh pada bulan Juni sampai Agustus 2021. Percobaan ini disusun menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial yang terdiri atas 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah galur mutan cabai lokal generasi M3 yang terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu sebagai kontrol digunakan varietas Odeng dan galur M3 O10 D1-5, M3 O7 D2-39, M3 O9 D3-9, M3 O9 D3-34. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi NaCl pada media tanam yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu 0 ppm, 5000 ppm, 7.500 ppm, 10.000 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap galur mutan memiliki respon yang berbeda terhadap salinitas. Konsentrasi NaCl 7,81ds/m (K1), galur sudah mulai menunjukkan penurunan nilai viabilitas dan vigor benih serta pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman. Viabilitas dan vigor tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan varietas Odeng yang kemudian diikuti oleh mutan M3 O9 D3-9, mutan M3 O10 D1-5, mutan M3 O7 D2-39 dan terendah pada mutan M3 O9 D3-34. Varietas odeng, dan mutan M3 O9 D3-9 memiliki daya berkecambah yang lebih baik pada cekaman salinitas dibandingkan dengan galur mutan lainnya.Response of Viability and Vigor of Seed and Vegetative Growth of M3 Generation of Odeng Variety to Several Levels of Salinity StressAbstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of several M3 generation chili mutant lines at various levels of salinity stress on seed viability and vigor as well as plant vegetativeness, and the interaction between the two factors. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Seed Science and Technology and Screening House, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh from June to August 2021. This experiment was arranged using a completely randomized design with a factorial pattern consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor was the M3 generation local chili mutant line which consisted of 5 levels, namely the Odeng variety as control and the M3 O10 D1-5, M3 O7 D2-39, M3 O9 D3-9, M3 O9 D3-34 varieties. The second factor is the concentration of NaCl in the growing media which consists of 4 levels, namely 0 ppm, 5000 ppm, 7,500 ppm, 10,000 ppm. The results showed that each mutant line had a different response to salinity. The NaCl concentration was 7.81ds/m (K1), the line had started to show a decrease in the viability and vigor values of the seeds as well as the vegetative growth of plants. The highest viability and vigor were found in the treatment of the Odeng variety, followed by the M3 O9 D3-9 mutant, the M3 O10 D1-5 mutant, the M3 O7 D2-39 mutant and the lowest was the M3 O9 D3-34 mutant. The odeng variety, and the M3 O9 D3-9 mutant had better germination rates under salinity stress than other mutant lines.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jenis isolat rizobakteri sebagai agen biofertilizer dan jenis varietas nilam serta interkasi antara keduanya terhadap pertumbuhaan tanaman nilam Aceh. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Benih Fakultas Pertanian, Laboratorium Biologi Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Nino Park Atsiri Research Center Universitas Syiah Kuala, Sektor Timur, Darussalam, Banda Aceh, yang berlangsung dari Bulan Januari sampai dengan Juni 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial 10x3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama Rizobakteri (R) dengan 10 taraf yaitu tanpa perlakuan rizobakteri dan perlakuan 9 jenis isolat rizobakteri CL 4/1, KI 8/3, PS 4/2, PS 6/1, PS 6/3A, PS 7/1, PS 8/4K, PS 8/4U, dan PS 8/5 dan faktor kedua Varietas (V) dengan 3 taraf yaitu varietas Lhokseumawe, Tapak Tuan dan Sidikalang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jenis isolat rizobakteri berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter jumlah daun umur 4, 8, dan 12 MSA (Minggu Setelah Aplikasi). Jenis isolat rizobakteri terbaik dalam memacu pertumbuhan tanaman nilam Aceh adalah isolat rizobakteri KI 8/3, PS 6/1 dan PS 6/3A. Varietas nilam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman umur 4 MSA, jumlah daun umur 4 dan 8 MSA, jumlah cabang umur 4 dan 8 MSA, berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman umur 8 MSA. Varietas nilam terbaik dijumpai pada perlakuan jenis varietas Sidikalang. Tidak terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara perlakkuan jenis isolat rizobakteri dan jenis varietas terhadap semua parameter yang diamati.The Ability of Indigenous Rhizobacteria Isolates as Biofertilizer Agents on Growth of some Aceh Patchouli VarietiesAbstract. This research aims to obtain types of rhizobacteria isolates as biofertilizer agents and types of patchouli varieties and the interaction between them on the growth of Aceh patchouli. This research was carried out at the Seed Science and Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Teacher Training and Science and the Nino Park Atsiri Research Center, Syiah Kuala University, East Sector, Darussalam, Banda Aceh, which took place from January to June 2022. This research used a 10x3 factorial randomized block design with 3 replications. The first factor is rhizobacteria (R) with 10 levels, namely without treatment of rhizobacteria and treatment of 9 types of rhizobacteria isolates CL 4/1, KI 8/3, PS 4/2, PS 6/1, PS 6/3A, PS 7/1, PS 8/4K, PS 8/4U, and PS 8/5 and the second factor was Variety (V) with 3 levels, namely the Lhokseumawe, Tapak Tuan and Sidikalang varieties. The results showed that the type of rhizobacteria isolates had a very significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves aged 4, 8, and 12 WAA (Week After Application). The best types of rhizobacteria isolates in accelerating the growth of Aceh patchouli were rhizobacteria isolates KI 8/3, PS 6/1 and PS 6/3A. Patchouli variety had a very significant effect on plant height parameters at 4 WAA, number of leaves aged 4 and 8 WAA, number of branches aged 4 and 8 WAA, significantly affected plant height parameters at 8 WAA. The best patchouli varieties were found in the treatment of the Sidikalang variety. There was no significant interaction between the treatment of rhizobacteria isolates and varieties of all parameters observed.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbandingan media tanam dan beberapa konsentrasi mikroorganisme lokal terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao. Penelitian ini dilaksanakaan di Kebun Percobaan 2 dan Labaratorium Hortikultura, Jurusan Agroteknologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh dari bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial 4 x 4 dan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 48 satuan percobaan dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata  Jujur taraf 5% pada hasil uji F yang signifikan. Faktor pertama adalah perbandingan media tanam dengan 4 taraf yaitu: kontrol-2 tanah : 1 pupuk kandang (M0), 2 tanah : pupuk kandang : 1 sekam bakar (M1), 1 tanah : 2 pupuk kandang : 1 sekam bakar (M2), 1 tanah : 1 pupuk kandang : 2 sekam bakar (M3). Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi mol bonggol pisang dengan 4 taraf yaitu 0, 10%, 20% dan 30% L-1 air. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi bibit, diameter pangkal batang, jumlah daun, berat berangkasan basah dan berat berangkasan kering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, perlakuan perbandingan media tanam berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter. Pemberian beberapa konsentrasi mikroorganisme lokal berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun bibit kakao umur 8 MST dan berpengaruh sangat nyata pada jumlah daun bibit kakao umur 12 MST. Terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara perlakuan media tanam M0 dan konsentrasi mol 20% (M2).The Effect of Plant Medium and Local Microorganism Banana Tuber on the Growth of Cocoa Seedling (Theobroma cacao L)Abstract. The purposes of this research were to know the effect of comparison media planting and several concentrations of local microorganism on the growth of cocoa seedlings. This research was conducted at Experimental Garden 2 and Horticulture Laboratory, Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh from July to October 2018. This study used a Randomize Block Design of 4 x 4 factorial pattern with 3 replication, so that were 48 experimental units and continued with a Honestly Significance Difference 5% level on significant F test result. The first factor is the comparison medium planting of 4 levels : control- 2 soil : 1 manure (M0), 2 soil : 1 manure : 1 hueks fuel (M1), 1 soil : 2 manure : 1 hueks fuel (M2) and 1 soil : 1 manure : 2 hueks fuel (M3). The second factor is the concentration of local microorganism of 4 levels: 0 (P0), 10% (P1), 20% (P2) and 30% (P3) L-1 water. Parameters observed were plant height, stem base diameter, number of leaves, wet weight and dry weight. The result showed that the treatment of comparison planting medium had unsignificantly effect on all parameters. Consentrations of local microorganinism has a significant effect on the number of leaves of cocoa seedlings aged 8 WAP and has a very significantly effect on the number of leaves cocoa seedlings aged 12 WAP. There is significantly effect between the treatment of comparison planting medium control-2 tanah : 1 pupuk kandang (M0), and local microorganism concentrations 20% (P2).

Abstract

Abstrak. Kakao merupakan satu dari sekian banyak komoditi ekspor yang berkontribusi untuk meningkatan devisa negara. Komoditi kakao menduduki posisi ke- 3 ekspor bagian perkebunan untuk meningkatkan devisa negara sesudah CPO serta karet.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis media tanam dan dosi mikoriza, serta interaksi keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao. Penelitian ini berlangsung di Kebun Percobaan Sektor Timur, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam, Banda Aceh pada tanggal 11 April hingga 07 Juli 2021. Penelitian ini memakai Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 4 x 4 dengan 3 pengulangan dan terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan yang terdiri dari M0 = tanah : pupuk kandang (2:1), M1 = tanah : kompos (2:1), M2 = tanah : arang sekam (2:1), M3 = tanah : humus (2:1) serta 4 taraf dosis mikoriza yang terdiri dari D0 = 0 g/tanaman, D1 = 5 g/tanaman, D2 = 10 g/tanaman, dan D3 = 15 g/tanaman. Hasil uji F (analisis ragam) menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan jenis media tanam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter jumlah daun 60 dan 90 HSPT, berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 60, 90 HSPT dan volume akar, serta berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 30 HSPT, diameter pangkal batang 30, 60, 90 HSPT, jumlah daun 30 HSPT, panjang akar, berat berangkasan segar dan berat berangkasan kering. Perlakuan dosis mikoriza menunjukkan hasil berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter berat berangkasan kering, berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter berat berangkasan segar, panjang akar dan volume akar, serta berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 30, 60, 90 HSPT, diameter pangkal batang 30, 60, 90 HSPT,  dan jumlah daun 30, 60, 90 HSPT. Terdapat interaksi yang tidak nyata antara jenis media tanam dan dosis mikoriza terhadap semua parameter yang diamati. The Effect of Planting Media Types and Mycorrhizal Doses on the Growthof Cacao Seed (Theobroma cacao L.)abstract. Cocoa is one of the many export commodities that contribute to increasing the country's foreign exchange. Cocoa commodity occupies the 3rd position in the export section of the plantation sector to increase the country's foreign exchange after CPO and rubber. This study aims to determine the effect of the type of planting medium and the dose of mycorrhizae, as well as the interaction of the two on the growth of cocoa seedlings. This research took place at the Experimental Garden of the Eastern Sector, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam, Banda Aceh on April 11 to July 07 2021. This study used a 4 x 4 factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 3 repetitions and consisted of 2 different treatment factors. consisting of M0 = soil: manure (2:1), M1 = soil: compost (2:1), M2 = soil: husk charcoal (2:1), M3 = soil: humus (2:1 ) and 4 levels of mycorrhizal doses consisting of D0 = 0 g/plant, D1 = 5 g/plant, D2 = 10 g/plant, and D315 g/plant. The results of the F test (analysis of variance) showed that the treatment of the type of planting media had a very significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves 60 and 90 DAT, had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height 60, 90 DAT and root volume, and had no significant effect on the parameters of plant height 30 DAT. diameter of stem base 30, 60, 90 DAT, number of leaves 30 DAT, root length, fresh and dry plant weight. The mycorrhizal dose treatment showed a very significant effect on the parameters of dry root weight, significantly on the parameters of fresh root weight, root length and root volume, and no significant effect on plant height parameters 30, 60, 90 DAT, stem diameter 30, 60, 90 DAT, and the number of leaves 30, 60, 90 DAT. There was no significant interaction between the type of growing media and the dose of mycorrhizae on all observed parameters.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pengaruh dari beberapa jenis dan dosis pupuk organik terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pegagan. Penelitian ini berlangsung di Rumah Kaca 1, Laboratorium Hortikultura, dan Laboratorium Ilmu Gulma Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh, dari bulan Agustus sampai November 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola faktorial dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor jenis pupuk organik yang meliputi 3 taraf berupa pupuk kandang sapi, pupuk kompos serasah daun trembesi dan pupuk kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit (TKKS). Faktor dosis pupuk organik yang meliputi 4 taraf berupa 10, 20, 30 dan 40 ton ha-1. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwasannya jenis pupuk organik berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap panjang akar serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan jumlah stolon umur 75 HSPT (Hari Setelah Pindah Tanam). Pupuk kompos TKKS merupakan jenis pupuk organik yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan tanaman pegagan. Dosis pupuk organik berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang akar, berat akar, dan berat kering keseluruhan tanaman. Dosis pupuk organik yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan tanaman pegagan yaitu 10 ton ha-1. Interaksi antara beberapa jenis dan dosis pupuk organik sangat nyata terhadap pertambahan jumlah stolon umur 75 HSPT. Kombinasi perlakuan terbaik yaitu pupuk kompos TKKS dengan dosis 10 ton ha-1.Types and Doses of Organic Fertilizer Effect on Growth of Pegagan (Centella asiatica L.)Abstract. This research was conducted at Greenhouse 1, Horticulture Laboratory, and Weed Science Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, from August to November 2021. This research used a factorial completely randomized with 2 factors and 3 replications. The types of organic fertilizer factor which includes of 3 levels, there are cow manure, trembesi leaf litter compost, and empty bunch of oil palm compost. The doses of organic fertilizer factor which includes of 4 levels, there are 10, 20, 30, and 40 tons ha-1. The results showed that the types of organic fertilizer has a very significant effect on the root length, and has a significant effect on the increase the number of stolons at the age of 75 DAP (Days After Planting). Empty bunch of oil palm compost was the best type of organic fertilizer for the growth of pennywort. The doses of organic fertilizer has a significant effect on the root length, root weight, and the dry weight of the whole plant. The best doses of organic fertilizer for the growth of pennywort was 10 tons ha-1. The interaction between the types and doses of organic fertilizer was very significant on the increase the number of stolons at the age of 75 DAP. The best combination of treatments was empty bunch of oil palm compost 10 tons ha-1.
