Abstract

Students ability are low to understands physics concept that cause misconceptions incorrectly concept. In the effort tackling student misconceptions, earlier have among been differentiated student which misconceptions, know concept and lack of knowledge by using CRI (Certainty of Response is Index) method. To the effect this research to analyze student misconceptions and what material that misconceptions happens. Student of X.2 and X.3 MAN 1 Bukittinggi that will be analyzed misconceptions by give test multiple choice  with reasoning  end as much 30 problems and will be analyzed by using CRI method. Result of research to point out misconceptions that happening high enough. Highest of misconceptions is influence heat for change to form object.Key words: misconceptions, CRI (Certainty of Response is Index)

Abstract

Its is hard adjusted learning execution time with practicums performing, making difficult experiment is done at school. experiment also havent made active student, so required by experiment’s module gets PAIKEMS basis in lead experiment’s performing. The purpose of this Research is result practicum module that valid and practical. Observational method is 4D. Observational step that is done is problem Identification, information gathering, product design, validate design, fixed up design and product test-driving. Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop physics learning module gets basis learning cycle  for  material effort, style and energy to class VIII valids one and practical at SMPN 3 Pariangan. This research utilize development research( research development ). This research comprise of four phases which is: pendefenisians phase, scheme phase,developmental phase and broadcast phase. But in this research just utilized by pendefenisians phase, scheme phase and development phase. On pendefenisians phase activity that doing to cover interview by learns SMPN 3 Pariangan, menganalisis is semester learning syllabus two, menganalisis is semester physics textbook two VIII classes and meriviuw is literatures about module. On scheme phase is done design of physics learning module gets basis learning cycle. On activities developmental phase which performing to cover phase validates physics learning module get basis learning cycle  and research instrument, praktikalitas is physics learning module gets basis learning cycle. Of research result that is done at class VIII to point out that: Module gets basis learning cycle one that is designed was really valid (covering loading validity and konstruk) of expert viewpoint (validator), and was practical looked of learning module purpose physics gets basis learning cycle  in estimation physics learning observer and student.Key words : development, module ,  physics learning,  learning cycle

Abstract

The aim of this research was to crate physic cartoon media which valid and pratical that can help the seventh grade students to understand the movement. This is a research and development with 4-D research design. The research procedures divide into three steps, namely defining, designing, and developing. The research instrument that used is validation sheets, observation sheets and response questionnaire sheets. The research instrument is developed by arranging the item instrument, doing the validity test, and doing try out and analyzing the practical result. The finding of the research showed that 1). The physic cartoon about movement is valid with percentage 81,16% (consist of content validity and construct validity) from physics education expert’s aspect. 2) The use of physics cartoon media about movement in learning process did not have problem, in practical meaning, it use depend on observer’s and students’ evaluation.Key words: Development, cartoon media, physics subject, movement.

Abstract

Media development simulation is one of the alternatives to address the problem of learning physics that seem abstract and difficult, and can overcome the limitations of the tools in the school laboratory. This research is a development that consists of 3 phases: phase define (definition), design (design), and develop (development). The development of research instruments using validation sheet, observation sheets, and student questionnaire responses. Prototype 2 is validated by experts from STAIN Batusanggkar Physical Education and 1 teacher MTs N 1 Lawang Mandahiling. At this stage of the practicalities, Media piloted simulations in MTs N 1 Mandahiling Lawang to see the practicality of media simulation has been designed. Media as valid and practical to meet the criteria for the level of validity and practicality. Results showed that media simulation on the solar system material is very practical and very valid (validity include content, presentation, language and readability) from the point of view of experts Physical Education and one junior high school teacher.Key words : development, media simulation, macromedia flash, solar system

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the magnetic properties of sediments from Teluk Katurai Siberut island Mentawai islands. The study on sediment samples from Teluk Katurai had been carried out by using three methods, i.e., measurements of AMS (Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility) to determine the anisotropy shape of magnetic susceptibility, IRM (Isothermal Remanent Magnetization) to identify the their magnetic minerals contains based on the saturation curve, and AAS (Anisotropy of Anhysteretic Susceptibility) that produce anhisteritik susceptibility. From the stereonet plot and other anisotropy parameters were obtained that ellipsoid susceptibility form is oblate. It was also obtained that the type of magnetic mineral is magnetite based on magnetic saturation curves. Meanwhile the identification of grain size distribution was obtained by plotting the value of AMS versus AAS. The plots showed the magnetic grains of sediment was approximately 0.2 µm to 0.1µm.Key words: magnetic susceptibility, anisotropy, anhisteritic susceptibility

Abstract

This study aims to determine the design specifications set tool-making experiments to determine the kinetic coefficients and a coefficient of restitution of the collision of two objects using laser diode and sensor based LDR arduino uno. Results of the study is the design tool set of experiments could measure the kinetic coefficient between the glass material with glass with a relative error of 2.5%, wood with wood with a relative error of 1%, and steel materials with wood with a relative error of 0.5%. The coefficient of restitution is obtained for glass with glass material is 0.062, wood with wood is 0:49, and steel materials with wood is 0:22.Key words: kinestetic cooficient, restitution, sensor, laser dioda, LDR, arduino uno

Abstract

This study is conducted to identify changes in the magnetic properties of agricultural land due to the use of chemical fertilizers such as urea. Soil profile sampled in this study came from Tarab River District Tanah Datar West Sumatra. Soil sampled from the ground which has not been used as agricultural land and agricultural land that has been using chemical fertilizers. For the initial stage , the identification of changes in the magnetic properties of magnetic susceptibility measurements performed through. Measurements were performed by using two mass -specific frequencies of low and high frequencies of magnetic susceptibility ( ?LF and ?HF ). Measurement of low frequency magnetic susceptibility ( ?LF ) for soil samples that have not been used as agricultural land ranges in the range of 923.8 x 10-8 m3/kg to 1239.8 x 10-8 m3/kg. While the magnetic susceptibility values for soil samples ranged former agricultural land in the range of 546.6 10-8 m3/kg to 848.9 10-8 m3/kg. Based on the results of magnetic susceptibility measurements, its seen a decline in the value of magnetic susceptibility on former farmland soil using chemical fertilizers. Soil samples in this study is dominated by independent frequency SSD and MD grains based on the value of frequency -dependent magnetic susceptibility, c FD ( % ) were < 3 % .Key words: magnetic susceptibility, farmland, chemical fertilizers, frequency dependent magnetic susceptibility, cFD (%)

Abstract

Mostly, teaching materials merely focus on formulas and theories, yet there has not been found any teaching materials oriented to Qur'an. Due to that reason, it is significant to provide materials enabling students to learn independently, especially, those correlating the physics materials with Qur'an.  Therefore, this study aimed to produce students' worksheets of physics, known as LKPD, correlating Qur?an with Guided Inquiry to achieve the students? competencies, particularly, in the topic of equilibrium and rotational dynamics. This study employed the Research and Development design with the 4-D research model consisting of four stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. This LKPD also contains six stages of Guided Inquiry, namely orientation, formulating problems, formulating hypotheses, collecting data, testing hypotheses, and formulating conclusions. Every stage of Guided Inquiry engages the Qur?an verses with the material. The findings showed the validity of LKPD was at 88% categorized as very valid. The questionnaires resulted 88% of teachers and 70.3% of students categorized as very practical and practical. The average post-test score for students? competence (82.45) is higher than the average pre-test score (49.64) and N-gain of 0.77 considered high and effective. In conclusion, the physics students' worksheet or LKPD which employed Guided Inquiry corresponding with Qur?an is considered valid, practical, and effective to promote students in learning physics.

Abstract

Anggapan siswa mengenai materi fisika yang sulit, tidak menarik membuat mereka tidak aktif pada pembelajaran fisika. Ditambah lagi penggunaan buku cetak dan LKS yang dipinjamkan sekolah atau difotocopi siswa. Bahasanya sulit dipahami, hanya berisi rangkuman singkat terkait materi, rangkuman rumus-rumus, soal-soal latihan yang sangat banyak dan tidak berbasis suatu strategi serta tidak menuntun siswa untuk menemukan konsep. Ini merupakan latar belakang mengapa peneliti mengembangkan  modul fisika berbasis REACT berintegrasi Qur’an.   Sehingga dihasilkan modul yang valid dan praktis yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa serta membuat siswa dapat belajar secara mandiri dan aktif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research development) terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu: pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (development). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi modul, lembar wawancara dan angket respon siswa. Uji validasi modul dibantu oleh 3 orang dosen dan 1 orang guru sebagai validator, setelah uji kelayakan modul, maka dilakukan penyebaran angket respon siwa yang melibatkan  23 orang siswa. Pengisian angket menggunakan skala Likert dengan range 1-4, data yang didapat kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif sesuai dengan kriteria validitas dan praktikalitas. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul fisika berbasis REACT berintegrasi Qur’an pada materi suhu dan kalor sangat  valid dengan hasil validitas yang diperoleh adalah 84,24%. Untuk kepraktisan modul fisika berbasis REACT berintegrasi Qur’an materi suhu dan kalor memiliki kategori sangat praktis dengan persentase kepraktisan sebesar 91,76%
