Abstract

Kota Dumai merupakan wilayah pesisir yang terletak di Provinsi Riau yang memiliki peran besar dalam memajukan sektor perikanan laut. Masyarakat pesisir kota Dumai rata-rata memiliki pekerjaan sebagai nelayan. Alat tangkap sondong merupakan salah satu alat tangkap dominan yang digunakan oleh nelayan di kota Dumai. penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan sondong yang didaratkan di PPI Kota Dumai. Penelitian dilakukan pada Bulan Agustus 2020 bertempat di Pelabuhan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Kota Dumai. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan survey lapang (observasi) dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara kepada nelayan, hasil tangkapan utama alat tangkap sondong adalah udang putih (Pennaeus sp.), sedangkan hasil tangkapan sampingan dari alat tangkap sondong adalah Ikan sebelah (Psettodes sp.), Rajungan (Scylla sp.), udang mantis (Squilla sp.), Ikan Lidah (Cynoglossus sp.), Ikan Gulamah (Otolithoides sp.), Ikan buntal (Tetraodon sp.), dan Belut laut (Macrotema sp.). Biota hasil tangkapan sondong yang didaratkan di PPI Kota Dumai antara lain: Udang Putih, Rajungan, dan Ikan hasil tangkapan sampingan seperti Ikan Lidah dan Ikan sebelah.

Abstract

Kota Dumai merupakan salah satu wilayah di Riau yang memiiki potensi udang, terutama udangputih. Alat tangkap yang biasa digunaka oleh nelayan untuk menangkap udang adalah sondong.Tingginyaaktivitas penangkapan nelayan sondong berdampak pada kelestarian sumber daya udang. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk menentukan struktur dan ukuran udang; menentukan hubungan panjang dan bobot udang;menentukan nisbah kelamin; serta menentukan ukuran layak tangkap udang. Penelitian ini menggunakanmetode purposive sampling. Rata-rata panjang udang jantan dan betina yang tertangkap yaitu 10,4-11,0 cm.Udang jantan yang paling banyak tertangkap berukuran 10 cm dan udang betina berukuran 12 cm. Polapertumbuhan udang jantan adalah allometrik negatif, sedangkan pola pertumbuhan udang betina adalahallometrik positif. Udang jantan yang tertangkap sebanyak 79%, sedangkan udang betina sebanyak 21%.

Abstract

Nagari Air Bangis merupakan sebuah desa yang berada di Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Potensi sumberdaya perikanan yang ada di Air Bangis sangat besar dan banyak yang memiliki usaha perikanan tangkap. Salah satu usaha perikanan tangkap yang terus berkembang adalah alat tangkap bagan perahu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai ekonomi dan menggambarkan dukungan pengembangan alat tangkap bagan perahu berdasarkan CCRF di Perairan Air Bangis, Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu dengan survey dan observasi secara langsung, sedangkan untuk teknik pemilihan responden menggunakan metode purposive samplaing. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis ekonomi dan kriteria alat tangkap ramah lingkungan berdasarkan code of conduct for responsible fisheries (CCRF). Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa alat tangkap bagan perahu yang dioperasikan oleh nelayan di PPI Air Bangis secara ekonomi menguntungkan dan layak untuk dilanjutkan usahanya dilihat dari nilai R/C rasio sebesar 1,35 dengan keuntungan per tahun sebesar Rp. 442.500.000,00. Dilihat dari segi lingkungan juga menunjukkan bahwa alat tangkap bagan perahu termasuk dalam kategori sangat ramah lingkungan dari hasil penilaian kriteria dengan pendekatan CCRF menunjukkan bobot rata-rata sebesar 31,4.

Abstract

Kota Sibolga adalah salah satu kota yang memiliki potensi perikanan yang cukup besar di Pantai Barat Sumatera terutama pada bidang penangkapan ikan. Purse seine salah satu alat tangkap yang banyak digunakan di Kota Sibolga. Pada tahun 2015 jumlah alat tangkap purse seine (purse seine) di Kota Sibolga terdapat 92 unit kapal. Kecepatan pelingkaran alat tangkap purse seine berpengaruh terhadap kawanan ikan. Proses pelingkaran berguna untuk menutup arah renang ikan dengan cara menyamakan kecepatan kapal dengan kecepatan berenang ikan. Kecepatan dalam penarikan tali kerut (purse line) diduga dapat mempengaruhi jumlah hasil tangkapan, karena penarikan tali kerut dapat menutup celah ikan keluar dari bagian bawah kantong purse seine. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama setting dan penarikan tali kerut terhadap total hasil tangkapan pada kapal purse seine di Sibolga. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan cara observasi yaitu mengamati dan mengikuti operasi penangkapan ikan dengan purse seine. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hubungan lama setting dan lama penarikan tali kerut cukup berpengaruh terhadap total hasil tangkapan. Nilai korelasi (r) yang diperoleh sebesar 0.902 dan 0.779. Hasil analisis ANOVA yaitu nilai significance F lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan nilai alpha (α = 0.1).

Abstract

Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Karangsong merupakan salah satu sentra perekonomian di Kabupaten Indramayu yang terus mengalami peningkatan. Terdapatnya antrian kapal penangkap ikan yang hendak membongkar hasil tangkapan di PPI Karangsong, karena kondisi dermaga pembongkaran dan tempat pelelangan ikan yang belum baik. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sistem bongkar hasil tangkapan yang ada saat ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus, dengan pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui proses bongkar hasil tangkapan. Hasil penelitian mrnunjukkan bahwa alur bongkar hasil tangkapan di PPI Karangsong yaitu dimulai dari kedatangan kapal ikan, pembongkaran hasil tangkapan dari palka ke atas dek kapal, penurunan hasil tangkapan dari dek kapal ke dermaga dan alur terakhir adalah pengangkutan hasil tangkapan dari dermaga bongkar Ikan ke TPI. Proses pembongkaran ikan yang dilakukan di PPI Karangsong sudah lengkap dan sesuai SOP (Standar Operasional Prosedur) yang telah disiapkan, namun masih terjadi antrian kapal saat proses tersebut.

Abstract

One of the problems faced in the development of the marine and fisheries sector nationally is the low quality of the fish capture due to the limited capacity and quantity of available port infrastructure resulting in the decrease in competitiveness. The data in this study were related to fish capture from fishing boats to wholesalers. The data obtained was observation of the location of the vessel, the fish auction place, and the marketer. The types of fish taken were Kurisi (Nemipterus pneumatophores), Biji Nangka (Upeneus mullocensin), Kapas-Kapas (Gerres erythronium), Bawal Putih (Pampus argenteus), Kembung (Rastrelliger spp). Fish examining was done by looking at the organoleptic and pH values. The pH value was obtained by testing the pH meter, while the organoleptic value was obtained by observing the physical condition using a score sheet. To determine the magnitude of the influence of facilities on fish quality, and the correlation between organoleptic values and pH, an analysis using simple linear regression was conducted. The average organoleptic value of fish while on the boat, when distributed, and when in the marketplace were 8,248; 7,024; and 6.6 respectively. Meanwhile, the average pH value was 7.05; 5.51; and 5.15. The quality of fish caught at Class A Fishing Port of Belawan is still of good quality. The pH test showed decline in pH value ever since the fish was brought to the port until they were marketed. The influence of facilities on the fish organoleptic and pH value are 98.3% and 96%. Thus, facilities significantly affect fish quality at Belawan Fishing Port. Between pH and organoleptic values showed a positive correlation, hence when the pH value decreased, the organoleptic value also dropped.Keywords:Belawan Fishing PortEast WatersFacilities InfluenceFish Quality

Abstract

Purse seines are a type of fishing gear that operates by surrounding schools of fish. The target fish caught from purse seines themselves are small pelagic fish that are in schools. One of the areas where the majority of fishermen use purse seines is PPS Kendari, where the target fish caught are scallops, skipjack tuna and tuna. The price of self-caught fish is influenced by the type, size and quality of the fish itself. One of the reasons for the feasibility of a fishing business can be assessed from the opinions obtained from the business carried out. Having data related to the performance of catches from a fishing business will provide an initial picture regarding the feasibility of the fishing business. Data collection was carried out by participating in KMN Diva Bahari fishing activities made 8 fishing trips (1 trip 5-8 days). Then fish samples are taken for each fishing operation and the type, number and size are seen/measured. The data that has been collected is then presented in tables and figures and then compared with literature studies regarding the size of fish worth catching. Based on data obtained in the field, it was found that the fish caught were gliding (the majority), tuna, mackerel, sunglir, baby yellowfin tuna and skipjack. Where all the tuna, skipjack, sunglir, tuna fish that were caught were not yet worth catching. Meanwhile, for mackerel, blue kites are included in the fish size category worth catching. Several things that influence the size of fish caught that are not suitable are catching in FAD areas where one of the functions of FADs is a place for spawning and rearing, fishing seasons and fish areas.

Abstract

It is feared that the high level of human activity in the coastal areas of Dumai City and Bengkalis City will have a polluting impact on water quality conditions. Therefore, to preserve coastal and marine functions, it is necessary to manage the quality and control of sea water pollution for present and future purposes as well as ecological balance. This research aims to determine the water quality of Dumai City and Bengkalis City, focusing on the concentration of several physical and chemical water parameters listed in the sea water quality standards for marine biota. Water quality sampling was carried out in May-August 2023 at 12 research stations, then the results were compared with sea water quality standards for marine biota. The research results show that the parameters that still comply with sea water quality standards for marine biota based on the Decree of the Minister of the Environment No. 51 of 2004 are temperatures in the range of 28.7-30.8˚C and an average value of 29.45˚C., pH ranged from 6.4–7.2, with an average value of 6.9 and dissolved oxygen (DO) ranged from 5.0 – 5.9 mg/l, with an average of 5.34 mg/l. Meanwhile, the parameters that do not comply with quality standards are low brightness ranging from 0.40 m-0.58 m with an average brightness of 0.47 m and salinity ranging between 22-28 ppt, with an average salinity of 24 ppt
