Introduction: Preschool age is a stage where children learn to be able to urinate and defecate independently, which if there is a delay will have an impact on health problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting style and parental motivation in toilet training for parents. This research design uses a correlational quantitative design with a crosswhich, sectional approach. Objectives: Parents who have preschool-age children are expected to provide proper care at this stage so as not to become late. Methods: A sample of 40 parents who had preschool-age children delay, determined by the total sampling method. The instruments used in this study were parenting questionnaires and parental motivation for toilet training. The Spearman-Rho. test is used in analyzing data. Results: The results of self-testing obtained a value of p = (0.001) < (0.05) and a value of r = 0.524, which means that there is a positive relationship related to parenting style and parental motivation in doing toilet training in pre-school children in Kademangan Village with moderate correlation strength. Which means that the more fixed the parenting style, the higher the motivation parents have to do toilet training. Conclusions: For Further Researchers The next researcher found out other factors in the parenting style applied to children. Meanwhile, to motivate parents in carrying out toilet training in preschool children, future researchers must also know other factors besides parenting patterns. Apart from that, future researchers can conduct research in villages that have problems that are almost the same as this case

Introduction: Elderly or old age is the final stage of human life development, starting from the age of 60 years and above. The elderly experience a decrease in the ability of the body's organs to repair themselves or change or maintain normal function. Gymnastics for the elderly is light exercise that can be done anywhere, and is a sport that is not included in the heavy exercise category, so it can be applied to the elderly. Objective: to determine the effect of exercise on reducing pain in the elderly at the Al-ishlah elderly home. Method: The research design used was pre-experimental using one class pre test-post test design. The total sample of 22 respondents was included in this research. The Wilcoxon test was used in this research with the SPSS program. Results: test results p value = 0.000. This result shows a significant value smaller than the specified value, namely 0.05 (p≤0.05). Based on these results, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, so it was concluded that Ha was accepted, meaning that there was an influence of elderly exercise on reducing pain in the elderly at the Al-Islah Elderly Home. Conclusion: There is an influence of elderly exercise on reducing pain in the elderly with a pain score scale of mild, moderate and severe

Introduction: Postoperative nausea and vomiting, known as Postoperative Nausea Vomiting (PONV), is one of the problems often experienced by post-operative patients. Most anesthetic drugs have a vasodilation effect which causes hypotension and hypoperfusion, thereby stimulating the CTZ to produce nausea and vomiting reactions. Hypotension will be more dangerous if the body's fluid needs are not met at the time of surgery. Hypotension is one of the triggers that can cause nausea and vomiting. Giving fluids to preoperative patients is generally done to prevent intraoperative hypotension. Methods: The design of this research is analytical observational with a cross sectional approach, using a proportional sampling technique with a sample of 80 respondents. This research instrument uses the RINVR observation sheet and fluid calculations based on the fresh holiday formula. Data analysis using the Fisher Test with SPSS IBM Version 23. Results: The results showed that the majority of respondents, namely 72 (90%) channeled preoperative fluid requirements less than required, 44 respondents (55%) experienced mild nausea and vomiting, 61.1% Respondents experienced mild nausea and vomiting while meeting inadequate preoperative fluid requirements. The results of the Fisher Test statistical test obtained a value of p = 0.001, which can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between preoperative fluid requirements and the incidence of nausea and vomiting in patients after general anesthesia at RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar, East Java Province. Conclusions: In preoperative patients, a lot of fluid is lost. Fluid lost during fasting is replaced by calculating fluid requirements per day (per hour), calculating the fasting deficit (length of fasting) or dehydration (degree of dehydration). Providing sufficient fluids can reduce the risk of postoperative nausea and vomiting under general anesthesia.
