Abstract

Infeksi merupakan jenis penyakit yang sering terjadi, terutama infeksi pada kulit. Salah satu bakteri yang dapat menyebabkan infeksi pada kulit adalah bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Staphylococcus aureus dapat menyebabkan beberapa infeksi pada kulit seperti jerawat, bisul, impetigo dan infeksi luka. Bahan alam yang mempunyai potensi sebagai antibakteri adalah buah nanas. Bagian buah nanas yang sering terbuang adalah bonggolnya. Bonggol nanas (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr) mengandung senyawa kimia yang bermanfaat antara lain adalah alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin, steroid dan glikosida. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan metabolit sekunder pada ekstrak dan aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak bonggol nanas (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr) terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ekstraksi maserasi dengan pelarut Etanol 96%. Metode uji aktivitas antibakteri adalah dengan difusi cakram dengan konsentrasi ekstrak bonggol nanas (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr) yang digunakan adalah 3,125; 6,25; 12,5; 25; 50%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak bonggol nanas mengandung senyawa metabolit skeunder berupa alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, saponin, steroid, glikosida. Ekstrak bonggol nanas memiliki aktivitas antibakteri dengan luas zona hambat pada konsentrasi 3,125; 6,25; 12,5; 25; 50% berturut-turut adalah 0; 10,9; 15,16; 17,53; 22,2 mm. Semakin tinggi konsnetrasi maka semakin luas zona hambatnya. Analisis data menggunakan one way ANOVA menunjukkan adanya perbedaan bermakna dengan nilai P<0,05. Abstract

Language development is one of the very important aspects stimulated in early childhood. This study aims to explain the role of storytelling methods on early childhood language development in KB Pangeran Purbaya Kalisoka Dukuhwaru Tegal. This research is included in descriptive-qualitative research with case study methods. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study illustrate that storytelling methods can improve language development in early childhood, especially speech skills. The increase was obtained because of the presentation of the storytelling method using colorful book media so that it is fun and fun and trains speech skills with the courage to appear to tell stories in front of the class. The storytelling method is also interesting because it uses hand puppet media, power point media and audiovisual media. The storytelling method can also improve children's listening skills and vocabulary skills by using various themes, simple sentences and easy for children to understand. The implications of applying the storytelling method play a role in early childhood language development, help the learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved properly, and create a joyful atmosphere and not quickly boring for children when learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACTSasmita gendhing is a series of words that lead to the name gendhing-gendhing as a supporter of the wayang kulit purwa show. While the wayang kulit show format still refers to the format of last night's show with the genre of palace performance, the gendhing grade became a bridge between the mastermind and the singer to sound the gendhing as a support for certain scenes. In the development of the existence of gendhing-gendhing grades are slowly declining, even the majority of masterminds no longer use gendhing grades. The text-context approach from HeddyShri Ahimsa is used to reveal the variety of gendhing grades and to find the cause of the decline in the use of gendhing grades. The study conducted found various forms of gendhing grades, among them, are figurative words, wangsalan, and cangkriman. While the cause of the decline in the use of gendhing grades is noted due to the change of image, freedom of scene structure, freedom of choice of play, and cross-style performance. Keywords: gendhing grades, text-context, performance ABSTRAKSasmita gendhing merupakan rangkaian kata yang mengarah pada nama gendhing-gendhing sebagai pendukung pertunjukan wayang kulit purwa. Ketika format pertunjukan wayang kulit masih mengacu pada format pertunjukan semalam dengan genre pakeliran istana, sasmita gendhing menjadi jembatan antara dalang dengan pengrawit untuk membunyikan gendhing sebagai pendukung adegan tertentu. Dalam perkembangannya eksistensi sasmita gendhing- gendhing perlahan surut, bahkan mayoritas dalang tidak lagi menggunakan sasmita gendhing. Pendekatan teks-konteks dari HeddyShri Ahimsa digunakan untuk mengungkap ragam sasmita gendhing serta mencari penyebab surutnya penggunaan sasmita gendhing. Dari kajian yang dilakukan ditemukan beragam bentuk sasmita gendhing, di antaranya adalah kata kiasan, wangsalan, dan cangkriman. Sedangkan penyebab surutnya penggunaan sasmita gendhing ditengarai karena adanya perubahan citra, kebebasan struktur adegan, kebebasan pemilihan lakon, dan silang gaya pakeliran. Kata kunci: sasmita gendhing, teks-konteks, pakeliran

Abstract

The Ruwatan tradition in Javanese culture involves a  sacred performing art called Murwakala. This performance is carried out individually or collectively to self-purify, ask for forgiveness, or ward off disaster for individuals of various ages and social classes. Individuals categorized as Sukerta (bring bad luck, are dirty, or have disturbances) are considered not yet pure and, therefore, require a ruwatan (purification) ritual. Given the intensive use of symbols in the ruwatan ritual, understanding the messages conveyed through the performance art and ritual becomes problematic. This study aims to investigate how modern audiences interpret the ruwatan ritual. Using the theory of Symbolic Interaction, this study adopts a qualitative method. Data collection is done through observation, document studies, and in-depth interviews. Informants are the ruwat puppeteer, ruwat participants, and audiences. The findings of this research demonstrate that for the mass ruwatan tradition and Murwakala performance to maintain their relevance and significance in contemporary society, the symbolic meanings embedded within these practices must be conveyed more explicitly to both participants and the broader public. Ruwatan participants give meaning to ritual symbols and actions according to their cultural background, religion, and personal experience as an interpretation of the performance given by the ruwat puppeteer. Moreover, the study highlights the necessity of communicative innovation, such as implementing informational media, to support the continued vitality and relevance of ruwatan rituals in modernity.

Abstract

Pancakusuma Labuh is a creation that raises the issue of nationalism with the figure of Pancakusuma. The creation of this work aims to offer ideas as a mirror of life that upholds exemplary values in the life of the nation and state. Moreover, this creation intends to increase the vocabulary of garap lakon Pakeliran. In the process of creating, the creators use the concept of pakeliran padat and the aesthetic concept of nuksma and mungguh as a frame for the performance. To create the artwork of Pancakusuma Labuh, Alma Hawkins’ method of work creation was used, that is exploration, improvisation, and creation of artworks. The result of this artistic work is a wayang kulit performance lakon Pancakusuma Labuh which actualizes exemplary values in the form of nationalism values, bawalaksana values, and dedication values.

Abstract

The article with the title Penyusunan Lakon Sudarsana Labuh Sebagai Media Penyampai Nilai-Nilai Kemanusiaan (Preparation of Lakon Sudarsana Labuh As A Medium For Transmitting Human Values) is an effort to explore the human values contained in the character Sudarsana as outlined in the wayang madya performance. This research uses the pakeliran padat concept approach and the theory of sanggit lakon, the idea of Sugeng Nugroho, which is used in the creation of lakon “Sudarsana Labuh”. Sudarsana, the main character in this work, is one of the children of Parikesit who lives with Begawan Druwasa, his grandfather, in the Jatipitu hermitage. One day he wanted to serve the country but experienced various problems that arose both from within and outside himself. Sudarsana’s efforts in resolving these various problems ultimately became a ground for interpretation to explore human values, in this case selfless sacrifice. The preparation of this work went through 3 stages, namely orientation, observation and exploration. Orientation includes searching for information both verbally and in writing. Observation is an in-depth observation carried out by the writer to adjust the theme, main idea and lakon, and exploration, namely pouring everything obtained in the previous stages into a script and wayang performance. The results of the observations are (1) Sudarsana’s sincere desire to defend the Yawastina State, (2) Sudarsana’s sacrifice in protecting the state which is symbolized by saving the king from danger, (3) Sudarsana’s motivation to defend the state.
