Abstract

The aims of this study are: 1). To determine whether there is an effect of Problem Based Learning and Inquiri Based Learning learning models on student learning motivation. 2). To determine whether there is an effect of Problem Based Learning and Inquiri Based Learning learning models on student learning outcomes. 3). To determine whether there is an effect of Problem Based Learning and Inquiri Based Learning learning models on student motivation and learning outcomes. This study was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent comparison-group design. The data collection instruments included a student learning motivation questionnaire sheet and a student learning outcome test sheet. The test carried out is the one way MANOVA test. The results of the study obtained that there was a significant influence on the learning model of Problem Based Learning and Inquiri Based Learning on student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was a) to see if there was an application of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model with NHT on the learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP IPIEMS Surabaya. b) To see whether there is an effect of using the Jigsaw and NHT cooperative learning models on the learning outcomes of seventh grade students of SMP IPIEMS Surabaya. This study used a quantitative approach and the type of experimental research was using true experimental design with the pretest-posttest control group design. The statistical test used is the sample t test and multiple linear regression. The results showed: a) there was no application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model with the NHT type on student learning outcomes, b) there was a significant effect on the application of the jigsaw and NHT cooperative learning model.

Abstract

The partner of this community partnership program is SMP YPM 4 Bohar, located on Jl. Raya Bohar No. 39 Taman Sidoarjo as a container for the generation of the nation, always applies various methods and development of learning media to answer the demands of the times to produce high-quality human resources, the obstacle faced by this school is the ability of teachers in the field of journalism is still inadequate, in addition there is also no media learning that is able to accommodate the creativity of teachers and students. Therefore it is necessary to provide journalistic training to the teachers and learning media need to be made by publishing ISSN school magazines that are able to accommodate the creativity of teachers and students in writing papers. The benefits of making this school magazine are: (1) as acommunication medium; (2) as a medium of creativity; 3) as a medium to improve writing skills; (4) as a medium for developing reading habits; (5) as a time filler; (6) as a medium for training intelligence thinking; (7) as a medium for training in organization:; (8) as a promotional media. There are three stages in implementing a solution that must be completed with a partner: 1) Training; 2) Assignment, and 3) Assistance. The results of community service as a whole can be concluded; 1) There is a significant difference before and after the training, before and after the school magazine is made, this can be seen from the results of the paper that will be loaded in the school magazine showing that teachers and students can express a variety of ideas, various ideas, thoughts , creativity, even fantasy that accompanies thedevelopment of a student's soul through various kinds of writing so that it can be read by all other students and teachers; 2) During the process of making school magazines, partners and service teams work together so that the specified targets can be implemented well. The first school magazine with the name "SY4BAR" as a place to accommodate the creativity of YPM 4 Bohar Taman Middle School teachers and at the same time as a powerful promotional media has reached the printing stage, so all activities have been completed 100%.

Abstract

The NU PLUS vocational school (SMK) located in Sidoarjo Regency as a forum for nation generation, always applies various methods and development of learning media to answer the demands of the era to produce high-quality human resources, the problem facing this school is that the ability of teachers is still lacking in analyzing research data using statistical tests. Therefore, it is necessary to increase human resources concerning research through data analysis training. One way to help teach teachers in conducting research is to provide training in research data analysis using SPSS software. SPSS software is a software that can help process research data making it easier for researchers to analyze the data. This training aims to solve the problems faced by Sidoarjo Vocational High School teachers as partners, by providing training and mentoring methods of data analysis which include: 1) Methods of data analysis using descriptive statistics; 2) Methods of Quantitative data analysis using parametric statistics; 3) Qualitative Data Analysis Method using non-parametric statistics; 4) Research Methods, Classroom Action Research. The training design above is expected to improve some of the abilities and skills of the Sidoarjo Vocational High School teachers, including the following: 1) Processing research data using descriptive statistics; 2) Quantitative data processing using parametric statistics; 3) Processing of qualitative data using non-parametric statistics; 4) Mastering Research methods with Quantitative and Qualitative Approaches; 5) Able to carry out Classroom Action Research. The expected target of the community service activities in Sidoarjo Plus Vocational School includes: 1) Increased understanding, ability, and skills in analyzing data using descriptive statistics; 2) Increasing understanding, ability and skills in analyzing quantitative data by utilizing various kinds of parametric statistical tests that are tailored to the problem; 3) Improve understanding, ability and skills in analyzing qualitative data by utilizing various kinds of non-parametric statistical tests that are tailored to the problem; 4) Training manual; 5) Certificates and posters; 6) Scientific Publication in the Journal

Abstract

Abstrak— Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaankemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dengan langkah Polya antara siswa yangmendapat model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan siswa yangmendapat model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division(STAD). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian quasieksperimen. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Miftahul Ulum Surabayayang terdiri dari dua kelas yang berjumlah 43 siswa dan pengambilan sampelmenggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahuikemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa adalah dengan menggunakan tesesai yaitu soal cerita yang ada dalam kehidupan nyata siswa. Teknik analisis data yangdigunakan pada penelitian antara lain: (i) Menghitung nilai rata-rata, (ii) Uji normalitasdata, (iii) Uji homogenitas data, (iv) Uji hipotesis yaitu uji t. Dari hasil penelitian inidapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematikadengan langkah Polya antara siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran ProblemBased Learning (PBL) dengan siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran kooperatiftipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) pada siswa SMP Miftahul UlumSurabaya

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas X TBSM SMK Negeri 1 Labang yang di ajar dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan discovery learning dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas X TBSM SMK Negeri 1 Labang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen yang merupakan bagian dari metode penelitiaan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah siswa X TBSM 1 yang berjumlah 31 siswa dan X TBSM 2 juga berjumlah 31 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda. Skor hasil belajar yang diperoleh dari hasil perlakuan siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan discovery learning dianalisis menggunakan software statistik. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) ada ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas X TBSM SMK Negeri 1 Labang yang di ajar dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan discovery learnin, dan ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas X TBSM SMK Negeri 1 Labang.

Abstract

Nilai hasil belajar yang tidak memuaskan pada kelas XI SMK 17 AGUSTUS 1945 padapelajaran matematika materi Matriks terjadi karena kurang aktifnya siswa di kelas danmasih belum maksimal dalam menganalisis soal-soal. Model pembelajara kooperatifcukup baik dalam meningkatkan interaksi antara siswa dengan siswa atau dengan guruuntuk menganalisis, memecahkan masalah, menggali dan memperdebatkan topik ataupermasalahan tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa model pembelajarankooperatif merupakan cara yang tepat untuk merangsang rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadapmateri pelajaran dan bisa meningkatkan hasil belajarnya. Dengan berdiskusi kelompok,siswa dengan tingkat analisis rendah akan termotivasi untuk mengejar kemampuananalisis teman diskusi mereka yang lebih tinggi, Teman tingkat analisis tinggi akanmerangsang kemampuan analisis temannya yang memiliki analisis lebih rendah. Temandiskusi kemampuan analisis yang lebih tinggi akan memiliki fungsi sebagai pembimbing,perangsang, penjaga dan pengasah kemampuan berpikir teman diskusinya, maka dapatdisimpulkan metode mana yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dibuktikan dengan indikator nilai hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat dari metode STAD danSnowball Throwing.
