Abstract

This study aims to describe the representation of: (1) individualist, (2) recreation lifestyle, (3) mobility lifestye, (4) instant lifestyle, and (5) virtual lifestyle of urban societies in novel metropop Say No to Me by Wiwien Wintarto. Data of this research  is element of novel metropop Say No to Me by Wiwien Wintarto. The source of this research data is novel metropop Say No to Me by Wiwien Wintarto. There are four stages to collect the data. First, reading novel metropop Say No to Me by Wiwien Wintarto. Second, literature review. Third, find and write the data related to research problem. Based on result of the study concluded: (1) urban societies are individualist, (2) urban societies need recreation, (3) the level of urban societies mobility is high, (4) urban societies want their needs to be obtained instantly, and (5) urban societies depend on Information Technology (IT).Keywords: urban societies, metropop novel, individualist, mobility, instant, virtual

Abstract

The purpose of this article is (a) to describe the story of episode novel Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah written by Hamka, (b) to describe the story of episode Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie director by Hanny R. Saputra, (c) to describe the similarity and differences the story of episode novel with Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie. The Data of this study is the story of episode novel Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah written by Hamka and Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie director by Hanny R. Saputra. Analysis technique is with ekranisasi theory. The finding of the study showed that the decreasing episode of the story novel Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah written by Hamka in Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie director by Hanny R. Saputra become 61 stories of episode. Additional of the story in Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie director by Hanny R. Saputra become 89 stories of episode. The change of variation event, character and background the story of episode in novel Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah written by Hamka and Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie director by Hanny R. Abstract

This study aimed to describe the profile in terms of adolescent Minangkabau outlook on life, responsibility, love, beauty, suffering and ideals of the juvenile short stories published by Daily Singgalang Sunday. Data were collected by means of : (1) read and understand short stories teen Singgalang daily publications Sunday, this is done to obtain a clear understanding of the profile of the studied adolescents , (2) record the speech and text can be abstracted as a teenager with profile data use a table format. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the profile of adolescents in juvenile short stories published by daily Singgalang Sunday, has a live view of the ideal form of self behaved , responsible , family and love for the opposite sex , is able to conclude a beauty and also have pain. From the discussion, it can be seen, the profile figure in Minangkabau teen teen short story published Sunday daily Singgalang have a view of life that is included in the category of idealism, pragmatism and materialism.

Abstract

This article was written to (1) describe of teks story about Musa prophet at text Strory of Prophets version Azhari Al-khalidi Rahmatullah, (2) describe the translation of story about Musa prophet at text Story of Prophets version Azhari Alkhalidi Rahmatullah, (3) describe change language of story about Musa prophet at text Story of Prophets version Azhari Alkhalidi Rahmatullah. The objeck of this study were story about Musa prophet at text Story of Prophets version Azhari Alkhalidi Rahmatullah. The text was data processing by four step, is roundup of data, describe of the text, translation, and change language. The finding of the study is avalaible of text about Musa prophet at text Story of Prophets version Azhari Alkhalidi Rahmatullah in Latin script and Indonesian language and more words that indicate old language charactheristic.

The purpose of this article is (a) to describe the story of episode novel Cintaku Untuk Si Mata Indah written by Sri Rokhati, (b) to describe the story of episode Habibie & Ainun movie director by Faozan Rizal, (c) to describe the similarity and differences the story of episode novel Cintaku Untuk Si Mata Indah with Habibie & Ainun movie. The data of this study is the story of episode novel Cintaku Untuk Si Mata Indah written by Sri Rokhati and Habibie & Ainun movie director by Faozan Rizal. Analysis technique is with ekranisasi theory. The finding of the study showed that the decreasing episode of the story novel Cintaku Untuk Si Mata Indah written by Sri Rokhati in Habibie & Ainun movie director by Faozan Rizal become 111 stories of episode. Additional of the story in Habibie & Ainun movie director by Faozan Rizal become 60 stories of episode. The change of variation event, character and background the story of episode in novel Cintaku Untuk Si Mata Indah written by Sri Rokhati and Habibie & Ainun movie director by Faozan Rizal become 10 stories of episode.

Abstract

The research was conducted aimed at analyzing the utilization of the locality of figure of speeches in a collection of poems entitled Lelaki and Tangkai Sapu written by Iyut Fitra. In addition, with the existence of this research, it can be seen the purpose of the poet using the locality assembly in his collection of poems, namely as a form of satire and introducing locality in his culture. In this study, used a type of qualitative research with descriptive methods. The majors of locality used by the poet in this collection of poems are as many as ten majas, namely (1) the comparison of metaphors of locality, (2) comparison of simile locality, (3) comparison of personification of locality, (4) comparison of metonymy locality, (5 ) the comparison of the antonomasia of locality, (6) the insinuation of the irony of locality, (7) the insinuation of locality allegory, (8) the insinuation of locality parables, (9) the insinuation of locality cynicism, and (10) majas satire locality. The locality institution that is most used by poets is Majas satire of irony.Keywords: locality, Iyut Fitra, figure of speech, poems

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of describing the structure and social function of the folk song (lullaby) of Laloklah Nak Kanduang community in Nagari Paninggahan, Junjung Sirih District, Solok Regency. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data obtained from informants through recording, recording, observation, and direct interviews with informants. Then the data that has been collected is analyzed in the following stages: (1) the data identification stage, (2) the data analysis stage, (3) the discussion stage and the conclusion of the data classification results, (4) the reporting stage. Laloklah Nak Kanduang's song has a structure like that found in poetry, namely physical structure (lines, stanzas, and sounds) and inner structure (patterns of association, patterns of images and emotions as well as themes and messages). Then the social functions, namely three (1) creative functions, (2) enthusiasm, (3) hope and prayer. The oral tradition of humming needs to be preserved, considering that the values contained in chanting are priceless cultural assets.

Abstract

The purpose of this article (a) to describe story of episode novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan created by Agnes Davonar, (b) to describe story of episode film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan director by Harris Nizam, (c) to describe similar and different story of episode novel with film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan. The Data of this study were story of episode novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan created by Agnes Davonar and film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan director by Harris Nizam. Analyzed technique do with ekranisasi theory. The findings of the study showed that the decrease story of episode novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan created by  Agnes Davonar in film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan director by Harris Nizam become to 69 story of episode. Increase story of episode in film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan director by Harris Nizam become to 27 story of episode. The same variation changes event, figure and background story of episode in novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan created by Agnes Davonar and film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan director by Harris Nizam become to 32 story of episode.   Kata kunci : novel, film, ekranisasi, episode cerita

Abstract

This study aims to describe the similarities and differences in functional structure of the Legendary Individual Muning Sekamis and Inyiak Susu Sabalah. The data in this study are the functional structure of folklore personal legend Muning Sekamis and the functional structure of the individual legend Inyiak Susu Sabalah. The findings of this study, show that the folklore legend of Muning Sekamis and Inyiak Susu Sabalah based on functional structure, can be formulated in ten functions of the actors arranged in three situations, namely the initial situation, the situation of transformation, and the final situation. In the initial situation there are three functions of the performer, namely (a) living as an ancestor, (b) living and becoming an ancestor with other family members, (c) where the origin is unknown. In a transformation situation there are three functions of the performer, namely (d) only has one breast, (e) the breast is very long, (f) milk from her breasts can treat various diseases. In the final situation there are four functions of the perpetrator, namely (g) disappearing (turned off) at the end of the story, (h) installing a four-angle talisman, (i) a four-angle talisman has never been revoked until now, (j) the village where he lives with his descendants is called as a lost village. The functional structure of an individual folklore legend of Muning Sekamis is more complete, while the folklore legend of the individual Inyiak Susu Sabalah has a simpler functional story structure.
