Abstract

Background: This study has the objective to (1) describe the history lesson planning, (2) describe the implementation of the teaching of history, (3) describe the history of learning assessment, and (4) analyzing the constraints in the implementation of national awareness-based teaching history in high school Al -Muayyad which is one unit of formal education in Pondok Pesantren Al-Muayyad SMA Muhammadiyah Surakarta and Boarding School, which is one unit of formal education in Modern Boarding School Boarding School Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.Methods: The study was a descriptive qualitative study of the strategies are rooted double case. Footage used in this research is purposive sampling with criterion-based selection. Data was collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students of class XI IPS, and recording documents such as learning devices. Data validation performed by triangulation. Analysis of the data used is interactive model, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion.Results: This study concluded that (1) Planning made educators in high school and high school Al-Muayyad MBS in history teaching based national vision is to construct a learning tool in the form of a syllabus and lesson plan (RPP) which incorporate cultural values and national character . (2) The implementation of national awareness-based history of learning is done in high school educators Al-Muayyad through heroic story boarding in upholding the independence of Indonesia, question and answer, and discussion groups. While the implementation of national awareness-based history of learning is done in high school educators MBS through documentary film history of national struggle, question and answer, discussion groups, and assignment (3) The form of the assessment test and non-test by considering the cognitive, affective and psychomotor student. (4) The problem faced in teaching history in high school national awareness-based Al-Muayyad and senior MBS including the ability of teachers in the learning process, the attitude of students in participating in the learning and teaching facilities.

Abstract

Cultural heritage objects are evidence of historical heritage that is very useful in life, cultural heritage is also useful as a means of education as well as a historical tourism destination for the community. The purpose of this research is to find out historical heritage buildings in Langsa City, then to map the historical heritage buildings to be used as sources of information.The method in this study uses a historical method with stages namely the heuristic stage, the source criticism stage, the interpretation stage and the historiography stage. The result of the research is that there are five historical heritage buildings in Langsa City that have been designated as a Cultural Heritage with the Letter of the Mayor of Langsa in 2016. Then the mapping is carried out on the historical heritage which has been used as a source of information that is very helpful for local, regional, national and foreign tourists who visit Langsa City.

Abstract

Physical fitness is a person's ability to carry out everyday tasks easily without feeling too tired and have energy reserves to enjoy free time. SD Negeri 2 Meurandehis located in an area that is quite strategic and easily accessible. It is located about 1 km from the Samudra University. The purpose of this community serviceactivity is; (1) knowing the child's motion needs (2) increasing children's endurance; (3) reducing the level of obesity (4) increasing children's enthusiasm for learning and (5) directing children to positive activities. The subjects of this community service are all students of SD Negeri 2 Meurandeh in Langsa city, with the total duration of implementation is three months from March to September 2018 starting from preparation of activities to report preparation. The implementation of activities carried out through the following stages: (a) socialization (b) gymnastics together (c) physical education gymnastics training for students (d) participation of students in activities (e) monitoring. The result of this activity is the high level participation of partners has a positive impact on the program implementation, seen from the enthusiasm of the participants at the time of the implementation and the program was able to produce gymnastic instructors from students and teachers at SD Negeri 2 Meurandeh

Abstract

Masyarakat Jawa sangat kental dengan masalah tradisi dan budaya. Tradisi dan budaya bagi masyarakat Jawa dijadikan sebagai sarana pemersatu diantara perbedaan status sosial, agama dan keyakinan. Kebersamaan mereka salah satunya tampak pada upacara tradisional suran yang merupakan peringatan menyambut tahun baru Islam dan juga tahun baru Jawa. Suran telah mengakar di seluruh lapisan masyarakat Jawa tanpa mengenal golongan atas maupun golongan bawah yang lama-kelamaan semakin menguat dan berkembang dalam berbagai bentuk. Tradisi dan budaya Jawa ini sangat dijunjung tinggi oleh masyarakat Jawa, terutama golongan abangan.

Abstract

Organisasi keagamaan yang lahir di Aceh pada awal abad XX telah menyebabkan kemajuan di berbagai bidang terutama dalam bidang pendidikan. Dengan diperkenalkannya sistem pendidikan Belanda, dalam perkembangannya telah melahirkan suatu kelompok baru atau golongan intelektual dalam masyarakat Aceh. Pendirian lembaga madrasah pertama di Aceh dimulai pada tahun 1916, diberi nama Madrasah Al Khairiyah yang berlokasi di Kutaraja. Selanjutnya pada tahun 1928 disusul oleh Madrasah Ahlussunah Wal Jama’ah Idi, pada tahun 1930 berdiri Madrasah Al-Muslim Peusangan, dan pada tahun 1939 terbentuklah Persatuan Ulama Seluruh Aceh (PUSA) dan gerakan-gerakan lain yang timbul di Aceh pada awal abad XX yang berpengaruh terhadap munculnya gerakan Nasional sebagai bentuk perlawanan terhadap kolonial Belanda.

Abstract

Sebagai satu-satunya wilayah di Indonesia yang menerapkan Syari’at Islam, tentu saja pembinaan nilai-nilai keislaman perlu mendapatkan tempat yang istimewa. Terlebih lagi pada era globalisasi seperti sekarang ini, banyak sekali hal-hal yang dapat menyebabkan menurunnya nilai-nilai keislaman bagi masyarakat Aceh yang salah satu indikatornya yaitu lembaga meunasah sudah mulai ditinggalkan terutama di perkotaan, seperti misalnya di Kota Langsa. Akibatnya, sudah ada tanda-tanda yang menunjukkan penurunan nilai-nilai keislaman masyarakat Aceh, khususnya di Kota Langsa. Contoh yang dapat diukur terkait penurunannya tersebut adalah banyaknya kasus-kasus yang ditangani oleh dinas syari’at Islam (polisi Syari’at Islam) seperti judi, mabuk-mabukan, dan Zina. Meunasah merupakan salah satu lembaga keagamaan dan adat di Aceh yang memiliki kemampuan untuk melakukan penguatan nilai-nilai keislaman di Aceh. Dengan demikian, dilakukannya penguatan lembaga meunasah akan sangat membantu dalam pelaksanaan Syari’at Islam di Aceh pada umumnya dan Kota Langsa pada khususnya. Adapun yang dijadikan tempat penelitian adalah 5 (lima) meunasah yakni Meunasah At-Taqwa Gampong Jawa, Meunasah Al-Ikhlas BTN Asamera Matang Seulimeng, Meunasah Gampong Sungai Pauh Tanjong, Meunasah Al-Muhtadin Gampong Daulat, Meunasah Babussalam Gampong Tengoh.

Abstract

Art is one element of culture. One form of the art is wayang kulit. Wayang kulit is one of several traditional Javanese arts. In its development from time to time, wayang has undergone changes in accordance with the development of the supporting community. Puppet has passed various historical events from generation to generation. So that the culture of wayang has been attached to the Indonesian people, especially the Javanese people. Along with the spread of the Javanese community to almost all parts of Indonesia, one of them in Aceh, a lot of activities of migrant communities, especially the Javanese tribe in Aceh, did not leave the art of their ancestors, one of which was shadow puppets. This is certainly something unique if an art is able to develop or survive in an area that is far from its roots and able to adapt to its new place.

Abstract

Kenduri Nangal is a traditional ceremony of the Gayo Lokop community before returning down to the fields. Nangal, is one of the local wisdoms of Hablumminnallah and Hablumminannas which is carried out by the Gayo Lokop Serbajadi community in East Aceh Regency each time they will start planting rice simultaneously. Berume Resam (rice planting season), a kind of ritual carried out from generation to generation, is filled with prayers together, asking the Almighty to be given facilities and to be kept away from disasters until the harvest time. Kendal Nangal which has noble values and cultural wisdom that are the hallmark of the Gayo Lokop Serbajadi community.

Abstract

In contrast to ancient times, now not only the Chinese people who play the Lion Dance, but also many indigenous Indonesian people who participated. This can be seen in one form of social interaction between the ethnic Chinese community and the indigenous population, namely the participation of the indigenous ethnic community in the art of lion dance both as a performer and also a spectator who also enlivened the performance of the dance of the lion dance. After the end of the new order period and entering a period of reform, Chinese culture began to develop. One of them is lion dance. Barongsai art began to be known to all regions in Indonesia. This participation is also a cultural assimilation between indigenous ethnic communities and ethnic Chinese communities, as is the case now in Aceh Tamiang District.
