Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a new design of a single PCB, portable and prospective laboratory kit module. The laboratory kits made are easy to assemble, with relatively small dimensions. and suitable for use in laboratories with limited experimental space and funds. The objectives of this research are (a) creating a microcontroller trainer by creating a series of minimum systems, inputs, outputs, Analog Digital Converter (ADC), (b) system programming using the Keil C51 IDE, (c) measuring and testing trainer performance. The research method starts from making a physical trainer, programming the microcontroller and measuring circuit performance. Pulse width modulation (PWM) of DC motors and the direction of rotation of the motor can be controlled using a potentiometer. The wave that is obtained when the motor is at full speed is in the form of a straight line with a voltage of 9.12 V, while when the motor is at half-full speed, a PWM pulse wave is obtained with a voltage of 4.35 V. The test is carried out based on student practicum work on each input circuit, and the output results are all applications tested successfully as expected.

Abstract

A remote temperature monitoring system has been created in the server room using LoRa technology which is based on preventing overheating on servers which can affect the performance of components in the server. The research objective is to design and implement a new LoRa-based server room monitoring system design. The targets of this research are (a) creating a system prototype, (b) programming the system with the help of Arduino IDE, (c) measuring system performance. The research method starts from making a prototype and measuring system performance. The results of system performance measurements, testing on LoRa showed the best RSSI results of -56 dBm, temperature data from 17°C -19°C and humidity from 55% to 59% in the server room. Overall the tool can function well.

Abstract

Electrical energy consumption in the household sector is frequently uncontrolled, particularly when electronic devices are used. That is the tendency of users to forget to turn off or unplug the electronic device from the socket. In that case, modifications are made to the socket so that it can be controlled remotely via a smartphone. The hardware design uses the NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller combined with the PZEM-004T sensor module for electrical magnitude. Relay modules are used to secure the circuit in cases of higher loads. So that in the system, all three sockets can be monitored simultaneously. While the software design uses MIT App Inventor and Thingspeak Platform as servers. The data is saved in CSV format, which can be converted to Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel. Data is stored in the form of the name of the electronic equipment, the time of use, as well as voltage, current, power, cos phi, and electrical energy used. So that users can regulate the use of electrical equipment at home and reduce the waste of electrical energy. The test results showed the average faults for voltage, current, power, cos phi, and energy were 0.06%, 5.32%, 5.67%, 0.7%, and 7%, respectively.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pembuatan alat monitoring pengukuran tekanan darah portable dengan output suara berbasis IoT yang didasarkan perawatan pasien dengan pendekatan berorientasi pasien. Dalam pendekatan ini pasien dilengkapi dengan pengetahuan dan informasi untuk lebih aktif dalam mendiagnosa penyakit dan melakukan tindakan pencegahan salah satunya pengukuran tekanan darah. Sasaran penelitian ini, yaitu (a) membuat sebuah prototipe sistem monitoring pengukuran tekanan darah portable dengan output suara berbasis IoT berbasis IoT, (b) mengukur kinerja sistem. Metode penelitian dimulai dari pembuatan prototipe, dan pengukuran kinerja sistem. Hasil pengukuran kinerja sistem, rata-rata erorr pada pembacaan nilai tekanan darah sebesar 2,49% untuk pembacaan tekanan darah sistolik dan 2,79% untuk pembacaan tekanan darah diastolic. Nilai erorr tersebut diperoleh dari 30 orang responden. Sistem dapat untuk pemantauan pembacaan data dari sensor MPX5050DP dengan penggunaan NodeMCU ESP8266 pada web server Thinkspeak melalui layar smartphone. Secara keseluruhan alat dapat berfungsi dengan baik.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pembuatan prototype CNC machine pengambaran pola jalur PCB  terkendali mikrokontroler yang didasarkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mendesain rangkaian elektronika. Sasaran penelitian ini, yaitu (a) membuat sebuah prototpe sistem, (b) memrograman sistem berbantuan Arduino IDE, GRBL, dan (c) mengukur kinerja sistem. Metode penelitian dimulai dari pembuatan prototipe, dan pengukuran kinerja sistem. Hasil pengukuran kinerja sistem ditunjukkan tegangan pada motor stepper ketika bergerak menghasilkan 4,94 Vdc untuk sudut X, sedangkan 4,95 untuk sudut Y dan Z. Waktu pencetakan hasil gambar mengikuti masukan gambar dan ukuran gambar yang sudah di setting. Secara keseluruhan alat dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Saran untuk penelitian lanjutan, dapat ditambahkan pengeboran pada jalur PCB.

Abstract

Milk is one of the foods that contain a number of highly nutritious nutrients. The content of protein, glucose, lipids, mineral salts, and vitamins with a pH of 6.8 causes microorganisms to grow easily in milk. Microorganisms that develop in milk will cause the milk to spoil. Therefore, it is necessary to process milk in order to maximize the quality and durability of milk, one of which is by heating milk (pasteurization). The pasteurization device is designed using a MAX6675 thermocouple sensor to measure the temperature of the milk during the pasteurization process where the temperature is controlled by a PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller with predetermined Kp, Ki, Kd parameters. The parameters obtained for PID control are Kp = 42, Ki = 3.5, Kd = 9. In testing the pasteurization device applying the High Temperature Short Time (HTST) method with a setpoint of 72 ℃ for 15 seconds with the time needed to reach the setpoint value for 29 minutes. Temperature readings using MAX6675 thermocouple sensors produce an average error of 0.5% when compared to national standard measuring instruments. Pasteurized milk can last for 3 days at 4-10℃ and for 4 hours at room temperature or around 21-25℃.

Abstract

Public places such as KRL transportation facilities are one of the great potential places for the transmission of covid-19. In one KRL carriage only a maximum of 60 passengers are allowed, which is 30% of the normal number to prevent the spread and transmission of Covid-19. Therefore, based on the explanation and reasons above, the writer raises a title of the final project which aims to implement social distancing in KRL (Electric Rail) transportation, namely the Passenger limiting the Number of Passengers in KRL Cars for the Application of the Microcontroller-Based Covid 19 Health Protocol.This tool uses an Infrared sensor as input data to be sent to Arduino. The output produced by the microcontroller, in the form of an up down counter that is displayed on the LCD, when the infared sensor reads that a passenger has entered the relay carriage, it will activate and the water pump will spray disinfectant. If the passenger in the carriage reaches the maximum limit, the DC motor and DFplayer get data from the microcontroller. DFplayer will process audio data and forward it to the Loudspeker as its output to inform that the number of passengers in KRL cars has reached the maximum limit that has been determined in accordance with the Covid-19 health protocol.In addition to being able to count the number of passengers, this limiting device for the number of passengers can also limit the number of passengers according to a predetermined number and automatically close the door when the number of passengers exceeds the maximum limit.Keywords: Infrared Sensor, Microcontroller,Relay, Motor Dc, and DFPlayer

Abstract

Currently, people tend to shop for daily necessities online through various marketplaces. Shipping costs depend on three parameters: weight, dimensions, and destination. Generally, these parameters are determined manually using rulers and scales. The solution proposed in this research is to create an automated system for measuring dimensions and weight. The method involves integrating a weight measurement tool using a load cell and a dimension measurement tool using ultrasonic sensors. One load cell is used in a Wheatstone bridge configuration to achieve good sensitivity. Meanwhile, dimension measurement employs five ultrasonic sensors to measure the length, width, and height of the package. The information from all sensors is processed using an ESP32 microcontroller, and the measurement results can be sent to a Telegram application. Testing results showed an average weight measurement error of 1.42% over 15 trials. For dimension measurements, the average errors were 2.17% for length, 1.93% for width, and 2.25% for height over 15 trials.Keywords: Package weight, package dimensions, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, load cell, ESP32, Telegram.

Abstract

Kelompok tani di Sungai Buluh memanfaatkan lahan yang dimiliki oleh beberapa anggota untuk ditanami tanaman cabe. Pengelolaan lahan tanaman cabe ini dilakukan secara rutin setiap hari oleh semua anggota kelompok tani secara bergantian mulai dari pembibitan, pemupukan, penyiraman, dan penyemprotan pestisida. Proses penyemprotan pestisida dilakukan menggunakan alat bernama Tasco yang disandang pada punggung dan disemprot ke tanaman cabe satu per satu secara manual dengan menekan tuas pada bagian bawahnya. Dilihat dari kondisi tasco yang sering tersendat atau macet sehingga proses penyemprotan pestisida menjadi terhambat. Oleh karena itu, tim mengupayakan tawaran teknologi yang memudahkan kelompok tani untuk proses penyemprotan pestisida tanaman cabe otomatis dengan motor pompa 12 volt yang dikendalikan secara otomatis menggunakan mikrokontroler. Sumber listrik diupayakan dari solar sel yang akan mencukupi daya penyemprotan. Tawaran teknologi ini sangat bermanfaat bagi kelompok tani yang rutin melakukan penyemprotan pestisida
