Abstract

The objective of this research is to gain a through understanding about management of quality of Tuition- free school. It is a qualitative research with a case study method conducted in Indonesia Juara Foundation using observation on school management implementation in SD Juara South Jakarta, since February-June 2015. The data were collected from participants observation using interview, observation, documents study and recordings. Data analysis and interpretation show that (1) Professional HR management is started from recruiting process, evaluating HR need, performance appraisal, coaching and counselling. (2) effective management of donation based on transparent and accountable implementation report of the fund-usage and implementation of qualified program in the school, report accuracy, trust to the benefactors and fund allocating for HR (3) The quality and the excellence of the school are based on the availability of competent HR and professional management as well as well-managed system and fund. The findings lead to the recommendation that (1) there is a need for a clear framework for teacher to do his duties, scheduled monitoring/evaluation (2) fund-absorption priority should be matched to program budget plan, alternative fund resources from government such as BOS. (3) there is a need for standardized management of quality as a special characteristic of Sekolah Juara. It is also recommended for decision makers at free schools as motivation and reference to improve their quality and service.

Abstract

Manajemen laktasi merupakan segala tatalaksana yang diperlukan untuk menunjang keberhasilan menyusui sehingga bayi dapat disusui dengan baik dan benar khususnya pemberian ASI eksklusif. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang manajemen laktasi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Samaenre Kabupaten Sinjai tahun 2014. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu yang memiliki bayi berusia 6-12 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Samaenre pada tahun 2014. Data yang dikumpulkan sebanyak 101 melalui sampel yang terpilih dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu quota sampling  atau pengambilan sampel berdasarkan jatah dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian. Prosedur analisis data dimulai dengan uji validitas dan reliabilitas terhadap instrumen yang digunakan melalui analisis SPSS 21 dengan uji Corrected Item Correlation untuk mengetahui validitas instrumen, sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan nilai Croanbach’s Alpha.Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran bahwa pengetahuan, sikap dan manajemen laktasi ibu di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Samaenre pada tahun 2014 sebagian besar masih berada pada kategori kurang baik yaitu  sebanyak 78 responden (77,2%) dan terdapat 23 responden (22,8%) berpengetahuan baik tentang manajemen laktasi. Disebabkan, karena kurangnya kesadaran atau kontrol dari lingkungan keluarga, masyarakat, petugas kesehatan serta kesadaran dari ibu itu sendiri.Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang manajemen laktasi, maka diperlukan adanya penyaluran informasi atau sosialisasi terkait masalah kesehatan khususnya tentang manajemen laktasi dari petugas kesehatan kepada masyarakat. Serta disarankan kepada masyarakat khususnya para ibu untuk berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh petugas kesehatan dan banyak bertanya kepada yang lebih paham tentang kesehatan.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan NAPZA diketahui telah didominasi oleh pelajar dengan prevalensi tertinggi ada pada kelompok berpendidikan tamat SD dan tamat SMP. Sasaran utama dari kegiatan ini adalah siswa kelas VIII. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mencegah terjadinya penyalahgunaan NAPZA di usia remaja dengan metode penyuluhan melalui media power point. Hasil pretest dan posttest terhadap tingkat pengetahuan tentang NAPZA menunjukkan sebanyak 32 orang (74%) mengalami kenaikan pengetahuan, 6 orang (14%)  mengalami penurunan, dan 5 orang ( 2%) tidak mengalami perubahan. Hasil pretest dan posttest terhadap tingkat pengetahuan tentang rokok menujukkan 15 orang (35%) mengalami kenaikan pengetahuan, 2 orang (4%) mengalami penurunan, dan 26 orang (60%) tidak mengalami perubahan. Secara keseluruhan  siswa  SMP  Negeri  5  Martapura  yang  mengikuti Penyuluhan sudah mengetahui  tentang bahaya rokok dan NAPZA. Kata Kunci: NAPZA, Rokok, Pelajar, Penyuluhan  Drug abuse is known to have been dominated by students with the highest prevalence in the group with primary school education and junior high school education. The main target of this activity is class VIII students. This activity aims to prevent the occurrence of drug abuse in adolescents with counseling methods through power point media. The results of the pretest and posttest on the level of knowledge about drugs showed that 32 people (74%) experienced an increase in knowledge, 6 people (14%) experienced a decrease, and 5 people (2%) did not experience a change. The results of the pretest and posttest on the level of knowledge about smoking showed that 15 people (35%) experienced an increase in knowledge, 2 people (4%) experienced a decrease, and 26 people (60%) did not experience a change. Overall students of SMP Negeri 5 Martapura who participated in the counseling already knew about the dangers of smoking and drugs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of observational activities conducted by students of Qur’anic Sciences and Tafsir (IAT) in Qur’anic da’wah activities at Darul Ihsan Modern Islamic Boarding School. The focus of the study is directed at the forms of da’wah activities, the methods of delivering the material, and the responses of the students (santri) to the presence of university students acting as young preachers who are directly involved in the process of religious guidance within the boarding school environment. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach employing field observation techniques, in-depth interviews with relevant parties, and documentation as supporting research data. The results of the study indicate that IAT students are able to integrate their understanding of tafsir with a contextual communicative approach, making the Qur’anic material easier for students with different levels of ability to understand. The da’wah activities include thematic religious studies, tahsin and tahfiz of the Qur’an, Islamic discussions, and the development of students’ morals and character in their daily lives. The main supporting factors are the support from the boarding school authorities, a conducive learning environment, and the academic readiness of the students. Meanwhile, the obstacles encountered include limited time for implementing the activities and variations in students’ abilities to comprehend the material. In general, this observation provides valuable practical experience for students in applying the theory of Qur’anic da’wah while also strengthening the synergy between higher education institutions and Islamic boarding schools in developing sustainable Qur’an-based da’wah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Pancasila student profile in building the character of mutual cooperation in fifth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ngimbang Lamongan. This research method is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects included fifth-grade students and fifth-grade teachers. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman model with triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. Aspects studied in forming the character of mutual cooperation include collaboration, caring, and sharing. The results of the study show that students demonstrate the ability to work together, care for friends and the environment, and are willing to share information and learning tools. The implementation of the values in the Pancasila student profile has been proven to play an important role in building the character of mutual cooperation in students, so it needs to be supported continuously through habituation programs, teacher training, and strengthening a collaborative learning environment.

Abstract

Character education based on Islamic values plays a crucial role in shaping a generation that is faithful, pious, and morally upright. MI Muhammadiyah 01 Sukodadi, as an Islamic educational institution, is committed to instilling Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah values in its teaching and learning processes, particularly for fourth-grade students. This study aims to explore how the implementation of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah character education contributes to the development of students’ faith, piety, and noble character. The research employed qualitative methods, including observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings indicate that MI Muhammadiyah 01 Sukodadi has successfully developed students' character holistically, encompassing aspects of faith, morals, intellect, social interaction, and leadership. Students demonstrated a good understanding of Islamic teachings and actively participated in religious activities, although maintaining consistency in worship remains a challenge. Their social interactions with peers and teachers reflected positive attitudes and a strong sense of empathy. However, issues such as impolite behavior and a lack of interest in leadership roles still need to be addressed. Overall, the school has created a supportive educational environment for character development grounded in Islamic and moral values.
