Abstract

CV Putra Kilau Lampuan adalah erusahaan percetakan yang memproduksi buku, majalah, packaging, dan undangan.  Sistem produksi yang diterapkan berbasis Make To Order (MTO) dengan pola aliran proses produksi bersifat flow shop.

Abstract

Tegal Subur Aktif Farmer Group is one of the organic tea producers located in Menoreh Hills, precisely in Nglinggo, Pagerharjo, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo. The efforts carried out by this farmer group include the procurement of tea ingredients, the provision of production facilities, the cultivation and maintenance of tea plants, the processing of agricultural products and trade in general. Processed organic tea products, such as green, black, yellow, and roasted, are produced.   Farmer groups have uncertain orders that can only be fulfilled partially, which can still affect customer satisfaction. In total, there are 95.39% of uncertain orders that can be fulfilled in the period August 2021 – March 2022. This is related to production planning with actual production caused by uncertain or regular supply of raw materials. If the collection of raw material supply is still carried out, it causes cost losses in collecting raw materials. The Tegal Subur Aktif Farmer Group has never measured its supply chain performance. If measurement is not carried out, supply chain performance may develop slowly. This study aims to measure the organic tea supply chain's performance and determine which indicators need improvement. This research uses the Supply Chain Operation References (SCOR) and Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. Based on the data processing carried out, by measuring supply chain performance with Supply Chain Operation References (SCOR) and Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP), the supply chain performance of the Active Tegal Subur Farmer Group can be improved.

Abstract

PT ASA is a leather tanning company. Almost 65% of the company's assets are allocated for the procurement of raw leather, which consists of goat and sheepskin. In addition to being expensive, the availability of raw leather is also very limited. The company faces a trade-off where, on one hand, the raw material is easily decayed, but on the other hand, its availability is extremely limited, and if there is not enough inventory, the production process will be disrupted. In this research, a multi-objective optimization model is developed for controlling the inventory of raw leather using the Fuzzy Goal Programming approach. The objectives to be achieved are to minimize the total inventory cost, maximize the total quantity of raw leather that meets standards, and minimize the total cost of losses due to decayed raw leather. Based on the calculations, the fuzzy goal programming membership function value is obtained at 0.9155, with a total inventory cost over the planning horizon of IDR 10,341,630,000, a total of 1,279,542 sq ft of raw leather meeting standards, and a total loss cost due to decayed raw leather of IDR 142,911,691.

Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) manufacturing rubber processing to produce Ribbed Smoke Sheets (RSS) located in Salatiga City, Central Java. Several things are not done by the company, namely the inefficient trajectory caused by the company's target being too high compared to the output produced. The production process has an imbalance in the trajectory, in which there is still an accumulation of materials/goods in process in several workstations so that actual production is not meet production targets, and the company is having difficulty meeting market demand. So it is necessary to balance the trajectory to answer these problems. Increasing the efficiency of the production balance can be obtained by balancing the trajectory using the theory constraint method aimed at reducing idle time and accumulation of goods so that the production process becomes more efficient. The method that can be used is CPM/PERT. The steps used are grouping work elements into workstations, calculating the value of workload, tracking efficiency, smoothing index, and balance delay, which are then compared based on the two methods. The results obtained are that the RSS production line has a high track efficiency value based on comparing the CPM/PERT method. Hence, the suggestion for the Ribbed Smoke Sheet (RSS) production line so that the line efficiency value is high following the CPM/PERT method is to make three workstations so that the value obtained is the track efficiency is 85% and increases by 21% from the initial track efficiency value, from 64% to 85%. The idle time value decreased from the initial 4.66 minutes to 1.51 minutes, the Balance Delay value also decreased from 37% to 16%, and the Smoothing Index value decreased from the initial 3.3 minutes to 1.08 minutes.

Abstract

This research focuses on applying Internet of Things (IoT) technology to measure energy consumption levels to reduce work accidents based on ergonomics. Work accidents caused by ergonomic factors, such as physical fatigue and discomfort, can be overcome by understanding and managing energy consumption in the work environment. Comparisons made between IoT-based approaches and traditional methods, such as manual observation and periodic evaluation, are often less efficient and unresponsive to changes in the dynamic work environment. The research methodology consists of three main stages. First, design and implement an IoT system involving intelligent sensors to measure energy consumption and ergonomic factors. Second, real-time data collection by analyzing data using artificial intelligence algorithms. Third, performance comparison between IoT-based and traditional methods through field trials and statistical analysis. The research results are expected to provide new insights regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of IoT technology in managing the risk of work accidents based on ergonomics. Future implications of this research include the potential for widespread use of IoT technology in various industrial sectors to improve worker safety and well-being. In addition, this research can pave the way for developing more sophisticated technological solutions tailored to the specific needs of each sector.

Abstract

The selection and assessment process of suppliers carried out by Private Airline Holding Company uses subjective assessment. It is not so transparent from the department's head with five criteria of suppliers and just enough sub-criteria. This matter inflicted a few problems, such as the goods received from suppliers not being by the amount ordered, the established quality standards, delays in estimated time delivered and received, and defects often found in the goods. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method that helps solve complex problems by structuring a hierarchy of criteria, stakeholders, and outcomes and by considering many things to develop values or priorities. This research aims to determine the priority criteria and sub-criteria of pilot and flight attendant uniform suppliers and the priority order of the best suppliers, Private Airline Holding Company. This research uses Expert Choice V.11 software to implement the AHP method. The overall evaluation obtained shows that five criteria and thirteen sub-criteria were used. The best supplier based on data processing is Supplier 1, with a value of 0.213.
