Abstract

The aims of this research was: (1) to find out the leading commodities in plantation sub sector in Bengkayang District Area, (2) to find out the structure and the production growth of plantation commodities in Bengkayang District Area (2005-2012). Research area was determined purposively in Bengkayang District Area of West Kalimantan. Analysis used in this research is the analysis of Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), Classic Shift Share and Esteban Marquillas Shift Share. LQ analysis show that the leading plantation commodities in Bengkayang are Peppers, Cacao, cloves and hazelnut. DLQ analysis show that the leading plantation commodities in Bengkayang are coconut and hybrid coconut. The combined of LQ and DLQ analysis show that there are two commodities experiencing repositioning of non leading became the leading commodity in the future, ie Hybrid Coconut and Coconut. The commodities that experienced a repositioning of leading became the non leading in the future are Rubber, Pepper, Cocoa, Clove and hazelnut. While commodities that stil remain non leading in the future is oil palm, coffee and Pinang. Based on the classic shift share analysis, shows that in the period 2005 - 2012, commodities that experienced an increase in real growth in Bengkayang are Rubber, Oil Palm, Cocoa, Clove, hazelnut and Pinang. The highest increase in productivity occurred in Palm Oil and Rubber. Esteban - Marquillas shift share analysis shown that the commodities that have a competitive advantage is oil palm, hybrid coconut, cocoa, cloves and hazelnut. Palm oil has the highest competitive advantage in the amount of 8.565,97 tons. Plantation commodities which has the advantage and can improve the allocation of production growth in the plantation crop are Bengkayang Coffee, Cocoa, Clove, Pecan and Pinang. Cocoa has the highest allocation advantages in increasing farm production in Bengkayang. Cocoa is also a commodity that has a competitive advantage and excellence allocation with the highest positive value. Abstract

This research aim to identify the society food preferences at the level of households based onper capita income of the region in the West Kalimantan province. The research method usedwas cross sectional study. The location of the research is grouped into three strata of theeconomy based on GDP, namely Pontianak city (high strata), Sekadau district (the lowerstrata) and Ketapang district (the intermediate strata). Then selected two subdistrict fromeach city/district. The sample of subjects is selected by purposive 25 householdsper subdistrict, and the total sample 150 households. The results showed that the foodpreferences of the subject significantly associated with per capita income of the area (p<0.05), namely corn, noodle, cassava, sweet potato, taro, sago, beef, chicken, duck egg, freshfish, shrimp, shellfish, anchovies, fish with soy, milk, milk powder, cooking oil, coconut,pecans, walnuts, chocolate, green beans, douchi fermented beans, granulated sugar, brownsugar, syrup, instant drinks, string beans, carrots, bananas, papaya, guava, mango, jackfruit,coffee and tea. Reasons for the selection of food preferences of the subject, because thehabits and the daily food.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector produces creative, innovative, and independent farmers who can improve farm performance. Therefore, this research aimed to determine the impact of individual characteristics and entrepreneurship on rice farming performance. The method employed in this research was a descriptive method to provide a qualitative description of individual characteristics and entrepreneurship in the performance of rice farming. The research was executed in one of the rice-producing centers in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. The simple random sampling method was used in selecting farmers with 150 respondents selected as the sample size. Furthermore, the research variables involved were individual characteristics, farmer’s entrepreneurship, and rice farming performance. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and observations, and analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SMART-PLS software. The results showed that individual characteristics and entrepreneurship had a significant and positive effect on rice farming performance. Consequently, it can be concluded to improve rice farming performance, farmers suggested strengthening their characteristics, particularly those related to farming motivation, and enhancing their entrepreneurial characteristics through their task and outcome-oriented behavior.

Abstract

AbsractThis research is to know the actor’s of the commodity value chain pepper, profits, margins pepper marketing. The method used in this research is a survey marketing agencies and key informants, while the farmer sample done with simple random sampling. The number of samples in the study as much as 66 respondents consisting of 4 provider of supplier inputs, 41 farmers, 8 traders, 9 consumers, and 4 key informants.Based on the results of the study known to the actors involved in the commodity value chain is supplier inputs, farmers, traders, consumers, cooperative, village banking unit, the Agriculture Extension Officer, and Plantation Department. Net income gained by farmers amounthing to Rp. 76.197.811,-/hectars/year. On the flow of product to the domestic market the biggest marketing margin obtained by retailers amounthing to Rp. 15.800,-/kilogram, while the flow of products to export markets the biggest marketing margin obtained by the wholesalers Rp. 8.500,- /kilogram. Keywords: Actor, Margin, Pepper, Value Chain AbstrakPenelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktor rantai nilai komoditas lada, keuntungan petani, marjin pemasaran lada, dan mengkaji potensi dan hambatan rantai nilai komoditas lada. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik snowball sampling untuk mengambil lembaga pemasaran dan informan kunci, sedangkan sampel petani dilakukan dengan sampel acak sederhana. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 66 responden yang terdiri dari 4 penyedia input produksi, 41 petani, 8 pedagang, 9 konsumen, dan 4 informan kunci.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui para pelaku yang terlibat dalam rantai nilai komoditas lada yakni penyedia input produksi, petani, pedagang, konsumen, perbankan, koperasi unit desa, balai penyuluh pertanian dan dinas perkebunan. Pendapatan bersih yang diperoleh oleh petani lada sebesar Rp 76.197.811  per hektar per tahun. Pada aliran produk untuk pasar domestik marjin pemasaran terbesar didapatkan oleh pedagang pengecer (retail) sebesar Rp. 15.800,- per kilogram, sedangkan aliran produk untuk pasar ekspor marjin pemasaran terbesar didapatkan oleh pedagang besar yakni sebesar Rp. 8.500,- per kilogram.Kata Kunci : Aktor, Lada, Marjin, Rantai Nilai

Abstract

ABSTRAKUsaha Pemotongan Ayam (UPA) menjadi sektor yang penting mengingat produksi daging ayam broiler yang terus meningkat. Tujuan peneltian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat risiko yang dihadapi pengusaha rumah potong ayam di Kota Pontianak. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode populasi, yaitu sebanyak 51 pengusaha rumah potong ayam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis coefficient variation untuk mengetahui tingkat risiko, risiko yang ingin dilihat adalah risiko harga dan pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pendapatan pengusaha pada bulan september lebih tinggi dibandingkan bulan lainya dengan (CV) sebesar 64,26%, risiko harga jual paling tinggi adalah bulan november dengan nilai (CV) sebesar 2,88%. Bervariasinya tingkat risiko setiap bulan dikarenakan bervariasinya harga jual dan harga beli. Kata Kunci: usaha rumah potong ayam, risiko harga, risiko pendapatan

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi padi sawah pasang surut di Desa Kuala Dua, Kecamatan Sungai Raya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Teknik penentuan daerah penelitian ditentukan secara purposive (sengaja). Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan metode No Simple Random Sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas, data diolah menggunakan program SPSS versi 18 kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan faktor produksi luas lahan, benih, pupuk NPK, insektisida dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi sawah, sedangkan faktor produksi herbisida, dan Urea tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi sawah di Desa Kuala Dua Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya

Abstract

Stroke is the number one cause of disability in the world and the number two cause of death in the world. Stroke is also the ninth cause of death in hospitals in Depok. Prehospital delays contribute greatly to poor stroke management. Therefore, the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the Depok community towards stroke need to be assessed to find out the causes of pre-hospital delays. This research uses a descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling techniques. Data was obtained using a questionnaire consisting of 12 knowledge component questions, 4 attitude component questions, and 3 behavior component questions. Of the 400 respondents representing the people of Depok, 82.5% have poor knowledge about stroke. A total of 60.75% of the people of Depok have a poor attitude toward stroke, and 56.25% of the people of Depok exhibit poor behavior towards stroke. The result shows that the majority of the people of Depok have inadequate knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding stroke.

Abstract

Abstrak: Minimnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam penggunaan teknologi digital dan pemasaran online dapat menghambat petani dalam memasarkan produk pertanian secara efektif. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan anggota Gapoktan JUT dan Sepakat dalam menggunakan digital marketing melalui platform seperti TikTok shop dan Facebook marketplace. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Mitra kegiatan adalah Gapoktan JUT di Desa Sungai Duri II dan Gapoktan Sepakat di Desa Semudun, dengan kehadiran peserta sebanyak 48 orang. Evaluasi dengan menggunakan angket menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang digital marketing sebesar 30%, dengan 82% peserta merasakan kemudahan dalam mempraktikkannya. Meskipun 18% peserta masih mengalami kesulitan, namun pemahaman yang lebih baik diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pemasaran dan potensi penjualan produk pertanian di masa depan.Abstract: The lack of adequate knowledge and skills in using digital technology and online marketing can hinder farmers from effectively marketing agricultural products. This activity aims to enhance the understanding and skills of Gapoktan JUT and Sepakat members in utilizing digital marketing through platforms like TikTok Shop and Facebook Marketplace. The methods used include socialization, education, and hands-on practice with participants. The partners involved were farmer group JUT in Desa Sungai Duri II and farmer group Sepakat in Desa Semudun, with participant attendance 48 people. The evaluation with questionnaire showed a 30% increase in knowledge about digital marketing, with 82% of participants finding it easy to practice. Although 18% of participants still faced difficulties, the improved understanding is expected to enhance marketing effectiveness and the potential sales of agricultural products in the future.
