Abstract

Pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru mengakibatkan siswa kurang aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran matematika. Penggunaan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Bantul Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran QuantumLearning.Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Bantul Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 dengan jumlah siswa 31 yang terdiri dari 10 siswa laki-laki dan 21 siswa perempuan. Teknikpengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Bantul Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil analisis lembar observasi keaktifan siswa pada setiap siklus yang mengalami peningkatan dan tanggapan positif terhadap hasil wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis lembar observasi pada Siklus I persentase keaktifan belajar siswa 55,88% dengan kriteria cukup, pada Siklus II persentase keaktifan belajar siswa 69,64% dengan kriteria kuat dan pada Siklus III persentase keaktifan belajar siswa 80,13% dengan kriteria kuat.Kata kunci: Quantum Learning , Keaktifan Belajar, Matematika.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of Student Activity Sheet (SAS) mathematics are using the curriculum 2013, particular in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 and 9 Yogyakarta as the learning process in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to develop a SAS based on curriculum 2013, determine eligibility based one matter expert assessment and teacher assessment, as well as student's response to SAS. The study was conducted through the model of Research and Development (R &D). Steps that passed include two aspects, namely the development of the SAS and its feasibility. SAS development includes: (a) collecting information (b) the designing of SAS (c) Validating SAS to the expert review by the mathematics teacher of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Yogyakarta and SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta (d) revising the product. The feasibility of SAS include (a) trial test (b) data analysis (c) the feasibility of SAS. the subject's research was students SMP class VII. The results of research and development has developed the Student Activity Sheet (SAS) on the scale and comparison in class VII SMP based on the curriculum 2013. The results of matter experts assessment and teacher assessment on the obtained an average score of 82.5 with very good category, so the SAS can be declared feasible. The student's response to the SAS is included in very good categories indicated by an average score of 85.3225. These results indicate that the Student Activity Sheet (SAS) in the scale and comparison in classVII of SMP based on the curriculum 2013 can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Problems about the low mathematical communication skills of students are still found in Junior High School (SMP) Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir. Based on the problem above, the researcher is interested in research to improve students' mathematical communication skills using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) inset material to class VII of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir in the academic year 2019/2020. The type of research used in this study is classroom action research (CAR). This study's subject was students grade VII class B of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir in 2019/2020, consisting of 29 students. This study's object is implementing the mathematics learning process through Realistic Education Learning approaches to improve students' mathematical communication skills. Data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, tests, and interviews. After obtaining the data, then the data is processed by triangulation techniques and calculated using Microsoft Excel. Based on the calculation results of mathematical communication skills in students grade VII class B of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir, which have been measured with indicators of mathematical communication abilities, the average percentage of mathematical communication abilities of students in the first cycle is 59%, which is included in the excellent category. The percentage increased to 75.19% in the second cycle or after being given an action using a learning approach to realistic mathematic educations with the category "Good" and increased mathematical communication skills 67.09%.

Abstract

Low numeric ability and student independence learning, as well as among peers interaction are estimated with low mathematics obtained by students. The objective of this research is to know whether or not there is a correlation between numeric ability, independent learning, and peers with the result of mathematic at the 8th-grade students of Muhammadiyah Junior High School 3 Yogyakarta (SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta) in academic year 2016/2017. The population of this research is the 8th grades students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The sample of this research is taken using a random sampling technique to class, and obtained class VIII G as a sample class and VIII C as an experimental class. The data is taken from documentation, questionnaires, and test. The instrument uses validity and reliability. The data analysis uses prerequisite treatment include normality and independent treatment with the form of Chi-Square, linearity test using F-test formula, and hypothesis test using t-test. The result of the research showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between (1) numeric ability with the result of mathematics, with r = 0,6682 and ; (2) independent learning with the result of mathematics, with r = 0,4113 and  ; (3) peers with the result of mathematics, with r = 0,3862 and ; (4) numeric ability and independent learning with the result of mathematics, with r = 0,4815 and  and RC  =  , RC  = and EC  =  , EC  =  ; (5) numeric ability and peers with the result of mathematics, with, r = 0,4520 and  and RC  = 92,9% , RC  = 7,1% and EC  = 41,7% , EC  = 3,2% ; (6) independent learning and peers with the result of mathematics, with r = 0,2304 and  and RC  = 55,2% , RC  = 44,8% and EC  = 12,7% , EC  = 10,3% ; (7) numeric ability, independent learning, and peers with the result of mathematics, with r = 0,4821 and  and RC  = 81,4%, RC  = 16,5% ,RC  = 2,1% and EC  = 39,2% EC  = 7,9% EC  = 1,0 %.

Abstract

 This research was done because the results of students' mathematics learning is still relatively low. Students are reluctant to ask about the material they have not understood that the learning outcomes obtained less optimal. This research aims to determine the results of learning mathematics using of cooperative learning model type of NHT (Numbered Heads Together) toward mathematic learning of student grade VIII at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir Sleman Regency of Even Semester in Academic Year of 2015/2016. This was design is Posttest-Only Control Design. The population in this research were students class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir Sleman Regency. Samples of this research using random sampling techniques derived from class VIII B as an experimental class and VIII C as the control class. The data collection is done with the test method. Testinginstrumentusing validity test and reliability test. Data were analyzed before using hypothesis testing with t-test first using analysis prerequisite test including normality test, and homogeneity test Based on calculations by the significant level  and the degrees of freedom 49, we concluded that: (1) There are differences in learning outcomes of  students learning math using cooperative learning model type of NHT with learning using conventional learning model. This is indicated by the results of the first test of the hypothesis that and , so that . (2) The type of cooperative learning model NHT more effective than the conventional learning model. Abstract

Common student problem-solving ability is related to several factors. The use of cooperative models in learning is one of the possible factors that can improve student problem-solving abilities. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the think pair share cooperative model and the cooperative jigsaw model on seventh-grade students' problem-solving ability of the odd semester of SMP Negeri 1 Tembarak in 2018/2019 academic year. The research population consisted of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Tembarak in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year, which consisted of classes VII A, VII B, VII C, VII D, VII E, VII D, VII F, totaling 169 students. Samples were taken from class VII A as the first experimental class using the think pair share cooperative model and class VII D as the second experiment class using the jigsaw cooperative jigsaw techniques using essay questions to obtain data on students' problem-solving abilities. The research instrument test includes a validation test, reliability test, difference power test. The analysis prerequisite test includes the normality test, homogeneity test, initial ability test, hypothesis test. The results showed differences in students' problem-solving abilities who used the think pair share cooperative model using the cooperative jigsaw model. This is indicated by  then  rejected  received. From the research results, students' problem-solving ability using the cooperative model, think pair share, is higher than using the cooperative jigsaw model. This is indicated by then  rejected  received.

Abstract

This study aims to determine is there a significant difference between the use MMP learning approach to TPS learning with the use MMP learning approach to NHT learning, and which is more effective between that lesson on math problem-solving ability. The population in this study were students of class XI MIPA MAN Yogyakarta III that consists of five classes. The sample in this study consists of two classes, that were XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 3 as the control class. The sampling technique used random sampling. The data collection method test and documentation. The research instrument is a problem solving test. Data analysis using t-test two parties and one party, but previously conducted test of normality and homogeneity. Based on the analysis of t-test two parties on mathematics problem-solving ability with a significance level of 5% and 55 degrees of freedom is obtained , indicating that there is a significant difference between the mathematics problem-solving ability using MMP learning approach to TPS learning with the use MMP learning approach to NHT learning, and Based on the analysis of t-test one parties with significance level of 5% and 55 degrees of freedom is obtained  indicates that the MMP learning approach to TPS learning more effective than the MMP learning approach to NHT learning on mathematics problem-solving ability.

Abstract

This study is based on students' low learning outcomes, low learning preparation, and lack of optimization of learning style math learning causes less effective mathematics study. This research aims to determine whether there is influence toward math learning outcomes among students who have a high or low learning preparation and learning style visual, auditorial, or kinesthetic in the students Class VII of State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 1 Banjarmangu Banjarnegara Regency in Even Semester Academic Year 2017/2018. This research population was the students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmangu Banjarnegara Regency in even semester academic year 2017/2018, which consists of 7 classes. With Random Sampling Technique to the class and obtained class VII G as a class of research sample and class VII F as a class of research trial. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire form and test. A multiple-choice test is a matter of learning mathematics outcomes in the form of a questionnaire for the learning preparation and learning style. Instrument test: validity test, different power tests, and reliability test. Test requirement analysis includes a test of normality and tests its homogeneity. Data analysis used a two-way analysis of variance 2×3 with the different cells and Tukey's HSD test. This research indicates a positive and significant influence of learning preparation and learning styles in the mathematics learning outcomes in students class VII SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmangu Banjarnegara Regency in even semester academic year 2017/2018.  It is showed by  and  so that  with a significance level of 5%.

Abstract

This research was conducted because students' mathematics learning outcomes were lack, the students had an opinion that mathematic was difficult and unpleasant, less active especially cooperation in learning, students perform other activities beyond teaching and learning strategies that teachers use less varied. This research is intended to find out the effectiveness of using cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with type Course Review Horay (CRH) Toward The Mathematics Learning Outcome of the VIII Grade Students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pundong In The First Semester of Academic Year 2016/2017. The population in this research were all the students of grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pundong in academic year 2016/2017 consist of six classes, VIII A, VIII B, VIII C, and VIII D. Samples were taken three classes using purposive sampling techniques, it is obtained class VIII B as an experimental class I, class VIII D as an experimental class II and class VIII C as a control class. The data analysis technique that is used to test the prerequisites including normality test with Chi-Square formula, homogeneity test with Bartlet formula, and test hypotheses including F test and Least Significant Different (LSD). The result of the significant level of 5% and db = (2,56) showed (1) there is a difference in the results of students’ learning mathematics that is taught by cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament, cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay and direct instruction learning model. It is evidenced by the value    and Ftable , as a result , so,  rejected, and (2) cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament and cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay are more effective than direct instruction learning model on students’ mathematics learning outcomes. It is shown with the LSD test with a significant level of 5% and 56 degrees of freedom obtained in the first case because and LSD , as a result  so,  is accepted and means that . In case II  and LSD = , as a result  so  is rejected. Because  and , as a result  means . Meanwhile in case III  and LSD = , as a result  so rejected. Because  and , as a result  means . Abstract

Observation on the students of grade XI MIPA 2 at State Senior High School (SMA Negeri) 3 Bantul showed that students' learning activeness to participate in mathematics lesson was still lacking. Therefore, this study aims to improve learning activeness using a firing line strategy in mathematics lessons on grade XI MIPA 2 at SMA Negeri 3 Bantul in 2017/2018. This research is classroom action research. The action is carried out in three cycles. In this study, subjects were 31 students' of grade XI MIPA 2, 9 men and 22 women. Objects in this study were the learning activities that applied the active strategy of the firing line. Methods of data collection were the method of observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was descriptive qualitative, and quantitative. The results showed that learning using the firing line strategy to improve students' learning activeness in each cycle has improved. The questionnaires of the learning activeness in cycle I was 53.59% (low), it increased in cycle II by 66.89% (high), and in the third cycle was 72,38% (high). The results of student observations were in the first cycle of 69,95%, it increased in the second cycle of 83.29%, and 86.90% for the third cycle. This research's success is also characterized by an average quiz that has reached the MCC (>69). The results of the quiz in cycle II were 78,33 and in the third cycle was 76,67.
