Abstract

So far, some think that mathematics is no more than counting and playing with formulas and statistics. The student simply accepts mathematics teaching in school without questioning why, and for what mathematics, and for what match should be taught. This research aims to improve the activities and results in study mathematics by cooperative learning design type student team achievement division (STAD). The kinds of this research are classroom action research (CAR), the research setting is XI IPS I State Senior High School 4 Yogyakarta (SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta) Academic year 2016/2017 consisting of 27 students. The data collecting technique is observation and test learning outcomes. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative research. This research indicates that by using the cooperative learning design type student team achievement division (STAD), there are improvements in activities and mathematics learning outcomes students in two cycles. This matter seen from the percentage average of observation results of learning activities students in I cycle; it is about 56,51% by enough criteria, and in cycle II are increased become 82,36%. Improvement learning outcomes are seen in cycle I from 27 students who fill up MCC amounted to 15 students in cycle II increased to 23 students who fill up Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC).

Abstract

Mathematics learning in class VIII SMPN 1 Kasihan Bantul academic year 2017/2018 using Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, which resulted in students still difficulty solving problems given by teachers so that teachers still guide students in solving the problem by giving its settlement step. As well as in learning, students lack confidence in conveying ideas or opinions. The use of a less precise learning model made the students less understood with the material described by the teacher and resulted in poor learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of cognitive style on learning outcomes, the influence of the learning model of problem posing and MMP learning model on learning outcomes, and the interaction effect between cognitive style and problem-posing model and MMP on learning outcomes. This study's population is the student's class viii State Junior High School     (SMP N) 1 Kasihan Bantul consisting of 5 classes. Samples of 2 classes with the number of 63 students taken with random sampling technique to the class obtained VIII D as experimental class A and class VIII E as experimental class B. Research instrument in the form of Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) test, initial ability test, and test result learning. Data analysis used a two-way analysis test of variance analysis. Based on the first hypothesis test with a significance level of 5% and the value of FA = 5,05 while F0,05; 1,59 = 4,004 mean FA> Ftabel, indicating that there is the influence of cognitive style to result learn. The second hypothesis test with a 5% significance level and FB value = 3.70 while F0,05; 1,59 = 4,004 mean FB <Ftabel, indicating no effect of learning model of problem posing and Missouri mathematics project (MMP) model of outcome learn. The third hypothesis test with the cell is not equal to a 5% significance level and FAB value = 4.40, whereas F0,05,1,59 = 4,004 means FAB> Ftabel interaction between cognitive style and learning model to learning result.

Abstract

Learning activity in SMP Negeri 2 Jeruklegi, Cilacap Regency at mathematics still being dominated by teachers and make students passive in class. This condition has made students in trouble and influence the learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to know differences in mathematics learning outcomes using scientific, contextual and conventional approaches, and compare what is better to student grade VII mathematics learning outcomes in SMP Negeri 2 Jeruklegi in Cilacap Regency in 2015/2016 academic year.  The population in this study is student grade VII at SMP Negeri 2 Jeruklegi, Cilacap Regency of even semester in the 2015/2016 academic year, which is split into seven classes and total students are 222. Sample is taken three classes using a random sampling technique, VII C as experiment class of scientific approach, VII E as experiment class of contextual approach, and VIII D as experiment class of conventional approach. Data collected by documentation and test. This study using experimental with perfect random design. The instrument test includes a validity test, reliability test, and the difference test. Data analysis to condition test include normality test with formula Chi-Quadrate, Homogeneity test with Bartlett Test, and hypothesis test using variance analysis and average test after anava. Based on variance analysis with significance level α= 5%, df numerator v1= 2 and df denominator v2= 92 show that: there is difference between mathematics learning outcomes of students using scientific approach, contextual and conventional approach those are showed by Fcount= 6,303458 > Ftable= 3,09543 and based on RNK test, obtained that contextual approach is better than mathematics learning using scientific and conventional approach to students’ mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Keterampilan mengajar adalah salah satu bagian penting dari pendidikan matematika. Hal ini membutuhkan guru untuk melakukan inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan sejauh mana guru SMA menerapkan pelajaran pelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan oleh pengamat bahwa mayoritas guru belum melaksanakan lesson study. Sebagian besar guru berpikir bahwa sulit untuk menerapkan lesson study karena manajemen waktu dan perbedaan kurikulum. Ditemukan bahwa SMK 1 Patuk melaksanakan lesson study untuk pertama kalinya. Guru berpikir bahwa pelajaran membantu kedua guru dan siswa dalam melakukan pembelajaran yang lebih baik. Guru membuat inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Ada tiga manfaat menggunakan strategi lesson study. Pertama, ini membantu guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar mereka di kelas. Kedua, membangun Komunitas Pembelajaran Profesional dengan fokus pada Lesson Study. Ketiga, ia memberi lebih banyak informasi tentang proses belajar siswa di kelas. Kata

Abstract

The aims of this research is to increase student activity in learning mathematics by using Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)  in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Prambanan. The study was conducted two siklus. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, documentation and triangulation. Instrument research observation sheet and interview. Instrument analysis using content validity. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) can increase student learning activity This is evident from the observation of student activity in learning every siklus has increased, that is average of observation percentage of student activity in siklus I 50,623% (enough), and at siklus II increased to 61.960% (good). From the results of interviews with students showed a positive response on student learning activity.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang didominasi oleh guru, sehingga mengakibatkan kurangnya aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Number Head Together) pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setting penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan lembar pedoman wawancara. Uji instrumen dari penelitian ini adalah uji validitas isi. Teknik analisis data dari penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VIII A SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil observasi aktivitas belajar matematika siswa setiap siklus mengalami peningkatan, yaitu presentase keberhasilan penelitian aktivitas belajar matematika siswa pada siklus I sebesar 50,43% (cukup), dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 66,84% (baik).

Abstract

Hasil belajar matematika siswa yang masih rendah berhubungan dengan banyak faktor. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemampuan berpikir logis merupakan beberapa faktor yang diduga berhubungan dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemampuan berpikir logis dengan hasil belajar matematika kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sewon Kabupaten Bantul Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah  siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sewon Kabupaten Bantul Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018.  Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling terhadap kelas dan diperoleh kelas X MIPA 4 sebagai kelas sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes untuk memperoleh data kemampuan berpikir kreatif, kemampuan berpikir logis, dan hasil belajar matematika. Uji instrumen penelitian: uji validitas, uji daya beda, dan uji reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji independen. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi linear ganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemampuan berpikir logis dengan hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sewon Kabupaten Bantul Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018.
