Abstract

This research aims to explain and analyze the influence of government officer leadership type  to deed togetherness value. The problem of this research is how the influence of government officer leadership type to deed togetherness value. This research is quantitative type, research by using test influence of variables to check. Population in this research counted 127 KK, so that taken sample counted 20% that is counted 25 KK. Pursuant to result of research which have can know that there are hand in glove degree, that is with coefficient of kontigensi C= 0,86 and coefficient of kontigensi Cmaks= 0,86 so that obtained by value 1,00.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisis pengaruh tipe kepemimpinan aparat terhadap pengamalan nilai kebersamaan. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimanakah pengaruh tipe kepemimpinan aparat terhadap pengamalan nilai kebersamaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji pengaruh antarvariabel-variabel yang akan diteliti. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 127 KK, sehingga sampel yang diambil sebanyak 20% yaitu sebanyak 25 KK. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat derajat keeratan, yaitu dengan koefisien kontigensi C= 0,86 dan koefisien kontigensi Cmaks= 0,86 sehingga diperoleh nilai 1,00.Kata kunci: kebersamaan, pengamalan nilai-nilai, tipe kepemimpinan

Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal's path-goal theory leadership style to improve teacher performance at SMPN Satu Atap 1 Tulang Bawang Barat. The research method uses a qualitative approach with the type and design of case study research. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observations, and document studies. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, drawing conclusions, and verifying data. The results showed that: 1) The principal's directive leadership behavior in the aspect of providing information and supervision has been carried out properly, but the aspects of providing direction, guidance, and coordination still need to be improved again. 2) The principal's supportive leadership behavior in the aspect of creating a family atmosphere has been implemented well, but the aspects of setting work guidelines, supervising learning, providing solutions, and support to teachers need to be improved again. 3) The principal's participative leadership behavior in the aspect of cooperating and discussion activities with school residents has been carried out well, but the aspects of participation and communication between school citizens still need to be improved again. 4) The principal's achievement-oriented leadership behavior in the aspects of career development, work competence, rewards, special attention, and being an example for school residents still need to be improved. The findings show that the principal's path-goal theory leadership style at SMPN Satu Atap 1 Tulang Bawang Barat is dominated by directive and participative leadership behavior. The principal has been able to provide information related to teacher performance procedures, supervision of teacher performance, cooperation, and discussion with school residents.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Path-Goal Theory memiliki kelebihan, yaitu pertama pemimpin menjadi lebih efektif, karena efek positif dimana pemimpin mampu memberikan motivasi kepada para pengikut, kinerja dan kepuasan. Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan serta kesiapan yang harus dirancang kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru pada sekolah dasar swasta di Kota Bandar Lampung. Sehingga target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah peserta dapat mengimplementasikan gaya kepemimpinan path-goal theory untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Metode yang akan digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan dan target di atas adalah (1) ceramah; menyajikan analisis berbagai peraturan pemerintah terkait; (2) brainstorming dan diskusi; menggali informasi yang pemahaman peserta dan hal yang telah dilakukan; (3) bermain peran; meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen peserta; dan (4) analisis dokumen yang diperlukan untuk merancang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang efektif. (5) melakukan pretest dan postest. Hasil kepala sekolah dapat memahami dan mengimplementasikan gaya kepemimpinan path-goal theory dan hal teknis yang berkaitan untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di sekolah. Kata Kunci: Kepala Sekolah, Kepemimpinan, Path-Goal Theory, Kinerja Guru  ABSTRACT Path-Goal Theory has advantages, namely firstly the leader becomes more effective, because of the positive effect by which the leader can motivate followers, performance, and satisfaction. The purpose of this service activity is to provide understanding and knowledge as well as readiness that must be designed by school principals to improve teacher performance in private elementary schools in Bandar Lampung City. So that the specific target to be achieved is that participants can implement path-goal theory leadership styles to improve teacher performance through the principal leadership model. The methods to be used to achieve the above goals and targets are (1) lectures; presenting an analysis of various related government regulations; (2) brainstorming and discussion; exploring information that participants understand and what has been done; (3) role-playing; improve participant management capabilities; and (4) analysis of documents necessary to design effective principal leadership. (5) pretest and posttest. As a result, the principal can understand and implement leadership style, path-goal theory, and technical matters related to improving teacher performance in schools. Keywords: Principal, Leadership, Path-Goal Theory, Teacher Performance
