Abstract

Abstract: Educators Communication with Parents in Increasing the Activities and Learning Achievement of Students in Primary Schools. This research aims to describe the communication between educators and parents in increasing the activity and learning achievement of students. The research used is descriptive qualitative case study method. Data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion (verification). The results showed that 1) communication between educators and parents through official meetings at school, home visits, periodic reports, attitudes of educators to parents and communication outside of school via cell phones, 2) barriers to communication between educators and parents, including busyness of parents, misunderstanding, slow response, difficult signal constraints, lack of focus, distance from home from school, embarrassment and reluctance, and lack of understanding of the content of the conversation, 3) efforts to overcome communication barriers with people parents by changing the schedule of attending school with a partner, home visits, delivering the results of meetings by telephone, and implementing effective communication, 4) there is an impact of communication between educators and parents on the activities and learning achievement of students.Keywords: communicator, educators, parentsDOI: 10.23960/jmmp .v8.i3.2020

Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes, the influence of learning discipline on learning outcomes, and the influence of motivation and learning discipline on learning outcomes during online learning. This research was a quantitative research with ex post facto method. The population of this research amounted to 136 students. The sampling technique used was probability sampling using a simple random sampling technique with the outcomes of 58 students. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire to collect data on student answers and documentation in order to obtain data on learning outcomes. The data analysis techniques used was multiple linear regression test. The outcomes of this research indicated that there was an influence between learning motivation on learning outcomes of 62.7%, learning discipline on learning outcomes of 37.3%, and simultaneously learning motivation and learning discipline on mathematics learning outcomes of 65.6%. The conclusion of this study shows that there is an influence between learning motivation and learning outcomes, learning discipline and learning outcomes as well as learning motivation and learning discipline on mathematics learning outcomes in fourth grade students.Kewords: motivation, discipline, learning outcomes, mathematics for elementary schoolDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jiip.v3i1.23043

Abstract

ABSTRAKSistem Informasi Manajemen adalah seperangkat prosedur gabungan yang mengumpulkan dan menghasilkan data yang andal, relevan, dan terorganisir dengan baik yang mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan suatu organisasi. Tujuan Sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) digunakan oleh sekolah untuk mendukung serangkaian kegiatan administarasi termasuk pemantauan kehadiran, catatan penilaian, pelaporan, manajemen keuangan, dan alokasi sumber daya dan staf. SIM memberikan informasi yang dibutuhkan manajer untuk mengelola organisasi secara efisien dan eefektif. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode praktek pelatihan dan diskusi sosialisasi. Hasilnya meningkatkan pemahaman tentang SIM Berbasis Android dengan meniingkatan layanan pendidikan yang efektif dan efesian. Saran kedepannya dengan pelatihan SIM Android yang sudah diaplikasikan dapat digunakan di skeolah lainnya. Kata Kunci: SIM, Android, Manajemen ABSTRACTManagement Information System is a set of combined procedures that collects and produces reliable, relevant and well-organized data that supports the decision-making process of an organization. Objectives The management information system (MIS) is used by schools to support a range of administrative activities including attendance monitoring, assessment records, reporting, financial management, and resource and staff allocation. MIS provides the information managers need to manage an organization efficiently and effectively. The method in this research is the method of training practice and socialization discussion. The results increase understanding of Android-Based MIS by increasing effective and efficient educational services. Suggestions in the future with Android SIM training that has been applied can be used in other schools.Key Words: MIS, Android, Management

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui beberapa faktor internal yang berpengaruh terhadap literasi digital mahasiswa. Faktor-faktor yang difokuskan dalam penelitian ini adalah rasa ingin tahu dan determinasi diri. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden 656 mahasiswa dari beberapa perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang disusun ke dalam Google Form dan disesuaikan dengan indikator rasa ingin tahu, determinasi diri dan literasi digital. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik regeresi linier ganda dengan terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji asumsi klasik sebagai prasyarat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasa ingin tahu dan determinasi diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap literasi digital. Besar kontribusi yang dihasilkan yaitu 37,7% dan model persamaan regresi yaitu Y = 0,551X1 + 0,297X2+ 55,268, di mana Y adalah literasi digital, X1 adalah rasa ingin tahu dan X2 adalah determinasi diri. Secara parsial baik rasa ingin tahu maupun determinasi diri juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap literasi digital. Rasa ingin tahu memberikan kontribusi sebesar 35,1% sedangkan determinasi diri memberikan kontribusi 33,9%. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh lain baik internal maupun eksternal terhadap literasi digital.

Abstract

Characteristics of elementary school students (SD) are more dominant in psychomotor activity. Classroom learning should accommodate this so that student motivation is maintained during the learning process. Motivation is important considering that mastery of knowledge will be more optimal if students enjoy the learning process. Traditional learning is still found in Way Kanan Regency, so it is necessary to learn that accommodates these characteristics. One way that is considered appropriate is the application of the concept of gamification. The purpose of this service is to provide counseling and learning training with the concept of gamification to elementary school educators, develop the potential of students who are not yet optimal due to traditional learning, and foster the spirit of professionalism of elementary school educators. This service uses counseling and training methods and involves 25 educators in Way Kanan Regency. The instruments used are tests and portfolios as measuring tools to evaluate and sustain service. This service is expected to be a reference for innovative and productive learning to improve the character of students as a provision to face the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Path-Goal Theory memiliki kelebihan, yaitu pertama pemimpin menjadi lebih efektif, karena efek positif dimana pemimpin mampu memberikan motivasi kepada para pengikut, kinerja dan kepuasan. Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan serta kesiapan yang harus dirancang kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru pada sekolah dasar swasta di Kota Bandar Lampung. Sehingga target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah peserta dapat mengimplementasikan gaya kepemimpinan path-goal theory untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Metode yang akan digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan dan target di atas adalah (1) ceramah; menyajikan analisis berbagai peraturan pemerintah terkait; (2) brainstorming dan diskusi; menggali informasi yang pemahaman peserta dan hal yang telah dilakukan; (3) bermain peran; meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen peserta; dan (4) analisis dokumen yang diperlukan untuk merancang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang efektif. (5) melakukan pretest dan postest. Hasil kepala sekolah dapat memahami dan mengimplementasikan gaya kepemimpinan path-goal theory dan hal teknis yang berkaitan untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di sekolah. Kata Kunci: Kepala Sekolah, Kepemimpinan, Path-Goal Theory, Kinerja Guru  ABSTRACT Path-Goal Theory has advantages, namely firstly the leader becomes more effective, because of the positive effect by which the leader can motivate followers, performance, and satisfaction. The purpose of this service activity is to provide understanding and knowledge as well as readiness that must be designed by school principals to improve teacher performance in private elementary schools in Bandar Lampung City. So that the specific target to be achieved is that participants can implement path-goal theory leadership styles to improve teacher performance through the principal leadership model. The methods to be used to achieve the above goals and targets are (1) lectures; presenting an analysis of various related government regulations; (2) brainstorming and discussion; exploring information that participants understand and what has been done; (3) role-playing; improve participant management capabilities; and (4) analysis of documents necessary to design effective principal leadership. (5) pretest and posttest. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Peer Tutoring-based LKPD on the learning outcomes of grade V students of Elementary School 3 Gedong Aer, Bandar Lampung City in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study is a quantitative study using Quasi Experimental Design and Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques in this study include interviews, observations, and tests of students' Indonesian language learning outcomes. The analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and t-tests. Based on the results of the t-test on the increase in student learning outcomes 0.00 <0.005, and with an N-gain of 0.00, it meets the fairly effective category. So it can be concluded that Peer Tutoring-based LKPD can improve the Indonesian language learning outcomes of grade V students of Elementary School 3 Gedong Aer, Bandar Lampung City, so that students can be more active during learning by using Peer Tutoring-based LKPD on Indonesian language material, namely understanding Procedural Texts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze digital literacy skills on the level of curiosity and self-determination of students. This study uses a quantitative approach with statistical methods. The type of research used in this research is ex-post facto. The population in this study were students in Indonesia aged 17-22 years with a sample of 723 selected randomly. The instruments used are digital literacy measurement, the Curiosity measurement scale, and the self-determination measurement scale. Data analysis used statistical tests, namely the Mann-Whitney test and Simple Linear Regression. The main result of this research is that there are differences in digital literacy and self-determination in terms of gender, but in the aspect of Curiosity there is no difference. Furthermore, there is a positive effect of digital literacy on curiosity and self-determination. The digital literacy prediction model for Curiosity is Y=11.28+0.38X and the digital literacy prediction model for self-determination is Y=25.77+0.57X. Keywords: college student, curiosity, digital literacy, self-determination.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202224
