Abstract

This study aims to design a dashboard that can help companies on CV. Restu Motor Jl. Tiban Indah Permai No. 5, Sekupang, Batam. Because there is no system that displays information related to the work done and completed by the company admin, so a dashboard design is needed. Data on the dashboard system is obtained from motorcycle sales data which consists of cashier data to print proof of payment if there is a sale, motorcycle collection data along with the purchase price and selling price, sales data along with profit/profit data. By using the PHP programming language and using MySQL as a database. Qualitative research techniques, by collecting data and information descriptively. The results of this study display a text-shaped dashboard consisting of cashiers, motorcycle data, sales data, target percentages, it is hoped that this dashboard can help companies analyze and control sales.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the understanding of the Tiban Mas children that physics or science subjects are not only memorized but with an understanding of concepts. This service activity is carried out with the stages of providing material but not directly formulating but followed by demonstration of practical tools and simple simulations on the material by utilizing developing technology. The basic principle is to directly invite the children of the Tiban Mas Residence to demonstrate the application of the physics concepts discussed. In addition, simulations are also shown that stimulate the children of the Tiban Mas Residence to be able to think that what they do every day is always related to physics or science. The technique used in this service activity is carried out in several ways including pretest, interview (focus group discussion), concept giving, through experimental studies (props and practicum), and post test. The results of the pretest showed the results of the means 53.83, after the service activities were carried out, it was continued with the posttest whether there was an increase in the value and the means obtained were 69.16. This service activity involves not only one scientific field but a combination of the fields of physics and engineering. The need for physical science is prioritized for understanding concepts. Meanwhile, engineering science focuses on the effectiveness of the design which includes assembling, installing and experimenting with props and simulations that will be made. This scientific amalgamation increases understanding which can be seen in the increase in posttest scores.

Abstract

Tanjung Uban is a coastal area that is rich in plantation products in the form of mangoes. Besides that, it is also a tourist area that is visited by many. However, these resources are underutilized by the community as an income supplement. This is because many of the people work as fishermen so that few of them have businesses and take advantage of their plantation products. Based on these problems, a technopreneur-based home industry training was conducted. This training aims to give people the creativity to develop a home industry from plantation products, creativity, and increase household income. The method of applying and transferring technology to the community of RT.001 RW.IX Tanjung Uban is empowerment which includes training on the technical and management aspects of the Home Industry. With this RT.001 RW.IX residents can process their plantation products, create souvenirs from the community's creativity for tourists, and turn them into a business outside of their work as fishermen. This training is important for basic knowledge of citizen entrepreneurship and can be used as income when many tourists visit.

Abstract

Pengunaan plastik sebagai wadah atau pembungkus makanan dan minuman menjadi masalah setiap negara. Perhatian dan aksi terhadap sampah plastik menjadi prioritas untuk kepentingan lingkungan hidup. Hal ini dikarenakan sampah plastik sulit diuraikan dan menjadi bahaya bagi hewan yang terjerat atau termakan sampah plastik rumah tangga. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji rancangan reaktor sebagai inovasi penangan sampah plastik. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah uji coba dalam mengubah plastik menjadi minyak, uji nyala api yang dihasilkan oleh reaktor, dan pengujian FTIR untuk melihat kandungan gugus fungsi dari minyak. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan reaktor yang dirancang dapat mengubah plastik menjadi minyak pada suhu 175oC-250oC dengan pembakaran menggunakan kompor gas bertekanan tinggi dan minyak yang dihasilkan dapat menyalakan api. Hasil FTIR menunjukkan gugus fungsi minyak yang dihasilkan menunjukkan kesamaan dengan gugus fungsi bahan bakar minyak jenis solar.

Abstract

The increasing market demand for catfish commodities in Batam city should stimulate the catfish farming business to be more advanced, but there are obstacles faced by small farmers, namely poor seed quality, cannibalism and lack of additional knowledge to raise catfish with hormonal engineering technology. The purpose of this activity is to provide additional knowledge of hormonal recaysa technology, catfish sorting techniques, and minimize cannibalism. This activity was carried out at one catfish farmer in Temiang, namely TW, with each having two workers. The method used is to apply hormonal engineering technology for the spawning process and maintenance of catfish breeds, as well as fish pond captivity. The result is that catfish mothers are given ovaprim hormone injections, and spawning is carried out with a time difference for each brood. After the spawning process and producing catfish seeds, the maintenance process is carried out according to the spawning time and given feed that is pellets watered with a mixture of chicken skin cooking water and rGH hormones. From this treatment results in uniform catfish size according to spawning time and pond grouping reduces the rate of cannibalism. The level of achievement of activities is very good, where each stage produces good output. This activity produces good quality germ with the help of ovaprim hormone, pond captivity with the aim of each size is facilitated, fry are given the addition of rGH growth hormone in pellets so that catfish have size uniformity so that cannibalism is reduced.

Abstract

Culinary tourism has become a hobby of many people when they are in a new area. Batam is one of the most visited culinary destinations. This is because Batam is in international shipping lanes directly adjacent to Singapore and Malaysia. Batam is often used as a tourist attraction that allows people to visit neighboring countries. Batam has a diverse culinary, because the population of Batam consists of sharing tribes and cultures. Starting from Aceh typical foods such as aceh noodles up to typical Manado such as grilled fish. One special food just in Batam that Gong-gong which is only sold in certain seafood restaurants in Batam. Information to get to culinary attractions is often difficult to obtain and also rarely updated. This study aims to obtain information about culinary tourism in Batam-based Android. The use of Smartphones is already a basic requirement. Many travelers are looking for information using the internet through their smartphone. One of the most widely used operating systems is the Android operating system. Android operating system really helps its users in various daily activities. With the applications running on the Android operating system on each smartphone tourists, then they can search for culinary information via smartphone wherever they are. The conclusion of this research is has been made an application in the form of culinary attractions in Batam-based Android City which is designed for smartphone users to make it easier for tourists to get information.

Abstract

Pariwisata di Kepulauan Riau sangat berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan Kota Batam. Wisatawan yang datang ke Kota Batam bermacam ragam, baik wisatawan lokal ataupun mancanegara. Batam merupakan wilayah yang bebas pajak, karena itu banyak wisatawan setiap datang untuk berlibur ke Batam karena barang yang jauh lebih murah. Selain itu beberapa tempat wisata di Kota Batam atau Kepulauan Riau sangat menarik untuk dikunjungi. Banyaknya destinasi untuk bebelanja dan berlibur di beberapa tempat wisata di Kota Batam atau Kepulauan Riau tak jarang membuat para wisatawan lokal ataupun luar mengalami masalah karena tidak tahu jalur mana yang akan mereka tempuh, berapa jaraknya, dan berapa biaya untuk transportasi ketempat berbelanja ataupun tempat wisata yang akan dikunjungi. Penelitian bertujuan menyelesaikan masalah lintasan dengan menggunakan metode heuristik khususnya algoritma semut pada graf sederhana. Metode SDLC Waterfall merupakan model klasik yang sederhana dengan aliran sistem yang linier Output dari setiap tahap merupakan input bagi tahap berikutnya yang dimulai dari analisis kebutuhan, studi literatur serta pengumpulan data ke lapangan, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengolahan data menggunakan algoritma ant colony, sehingga hasilnya dapat di implementasikan kedalam penentuan optimasi jalur informasi wisata pada kota batam, yang akan memudahkan turis lokal ataupun luar dalam mengunjungi tempat wisata atau berbelanja.

Abstract

Plastik memiliki peran yang penting bagi manusia saat ini. Pembungkus makanan yang praktis dan murah menjadikan plastik sebagai pilihan yang utama. Pembungkus plastik juga lebih efisien dan tahan lama dalam melindungi makanan dari hewan pengganggu seperti lalat. Dalam hal ini, pembungkus plastik menjadikannya lebih unggul dari pembungkus makanan lainnya seperti kertas, dan daun pisang. Dengan keunggulan pembungkus plastik tersebut, banyak perusahaan makanan dan usaha mikro yang memproduksi plastik dan menggunakannya sebagai pembungkus makanan. Disamping keunggulan yang dirasakan dalam menggunakan plastik, terdapat dampak yang cukup besar terhadap lingkungan. Hal ini dikarenakan plastik yang digunakan sebagai pembungkus makanan sulit untuk didegradasi oleh tanah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan alternatif dalam penangan sampah plastik, seperti membuat alat konversi plastik menjadi bahan bakar. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan merancangan alat pengubah sampah plastik menjadi bahan bakar dengan menggunakan metode pirolisis. Jenis metode penelitian ini adalah metode perancangan dan pengambangan dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Perancangan alat dibuat dengan memiliki satu tangki sebagai tempat pemanasan plastik, dan memiliki saluran pendingin untuk mengubah gas yang akan dihasilkan menjadi cair. Tangki reaktor berbahan besi untuk tahan pemanasan 300oC-500oC. Dalam desain juga memiliki pengukur temperatur suhu maksimal 500oC dan pengukur tekanan maksimal 2,5 bar (0,25 mPa). Saluran digunakan untuk menyalurkan uap panas hasil pirolisis ke dalam filtrat dan dilakukan kondensasi. Hasil yang diharapkan dalam usulan ini adalah bahan bakar minyak.
