Abstract

Mangrove ecotourism development with an institutional approach aims to carry out management by uniting relevant institutions especially the community, government, and other stakeholders. Institutional capacity plays an important role in the development of potential-based areas. Therefore, this study aims to determine institutional capacity both organizational and individual capacity in the mangrove ecotourism development in the Lembar village of Lombok Barat Regency. The research method was carried out through a qualitative research approach with the determination of informants based on purposive sampling techniques. The results showed that the capacity of mangrove ecosystem management for the mangrove ecotourism development in the Lembar village area of West Lombok Regency at the level of community, individual resource managers and institutional was categorized as low. The dominant institutional capacity in the mangrove ecotourism development were the Marine and Fisheries Department of West Lombok Regency. This shows that good synergy has not yet been formed between institutions and communities so that the mangrove ecotourism development is unsustainable and temporal. Therefore, a joint commitment is needed in increasing the strengthening of institutional capacity sustainably so that there is good synergy between the government, the government and the private sector, the government and the community, and between other stakeholders.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis potensi usaha, aspek kelayakan usaha, dan strategi yang digunakan dalam analisis SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) pada UD. Sumber Rezeki Surabaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuisioner, dan studi pustaka. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi usaha cukup mendukung. Pada aspek hukum UD. Sumber Rezeki telah memiliki SIUP, TDI, PIRT, sertifikat merek, sertifikat halal. Pada aspek teknis UD. Sumber Rezeki menggunakan sarana dan prasarana yang mudah diperoleh, dengan proses produksi selama 209 hari orang kerja dalam 1 tahun. Pada aspek finansial meliputi analisis finansial jangka pendek dapat dikatakan usaha ini menguntungkan dengan permodalan Rp354.982.100,-; TC Rp321.714.100,-; TR Rp 534.960.000; RC ratio 1,66; (π) Rp213.245.900,-; REC 54,77%; BEP (Sales) produk A Rp88.156,84204,B Rp176.313,6841, C Rp73.464,03503, D Rp88.156,84204, E Rp146.928,0701, F Rp7.934.115,784, G Rp2.424.313,156; BEP unit (Q) produk A 15 bungkus, B 22 bungkus, C 7 bungkus, D 7 bungkus, E 10 bungkus, F 661 bungkus, G 73 bungkus. Aspek finansial jangka panjang, usaha ini layak untuk dijalankan 10 tahun ke depan, NPV Rp1.082.713.378,63; IRR 639%; Profitability Index (Net B/C) 32; Payback Periode 0,15 tahun atau 1 bulan 24 hari. Pada aspek manajemen dijalankan dengan partisipatif. Pada aspek pemasaran, meliputi rantai pemasaran, bauran pemasaran, saluran distribusi secara langsung ke konsumen akhir dan melalui perantara. Dengan analisis SWOT diketahui posisi UD. Sumber Rezeki terletak di kuadran II, ST (strength, threat). Strategi yang digunakan untuk kondisi sekarang dan masa yang akan datang adalah memanfaatkan peluang di dalam usaha untuk mengatasi ancaman di luar usaha, melalui strategi diversifikasi produk.   Kata Kunci: Potensi, Aspek Kelayakan, Analisis SWOT.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to know the decent of catching and frozen fish company like technical aspect, financial aspect, market aspect, management aspect, effect for the society in Probolinggo, and make a business plan for the frozen fish company. The research method use in this research is deskriptive method, and to collect data used survey method. While for the sample collecting used purposive sample. The kinds of data collected involves primary and secondary data, while for the data analysis used descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative analysis. Kakap merah is catching with rawai dasar (bottom long line). In frozen company fish have some process like taking the fish, filleting, triming, cutting, glassing, packaging, freezing, and holding. Profit gained for kakap merah catching in 1 years is Rp 84.012.750,-; Rentabilitas 51,9%; NPV Rp 357.143.082,-; Net B/C 8,45; IRR 191,6%; and Payback Period 4,3 years. While profit gained for frozen fish sector in 1 years have Rp 32.366.767.655,-; Rentabilitas 188%; NPV Rp 146.750.029.164,-; Net B/C 38,4; IRR 835,4%; and Payback Period 3,8 years. Both businesses can be declared feasible and profitable. This sector have average opportunity market 702.293,8 ton/years. For the business planning with 40 catching unit we can produced 825.000 kg/ years. And this sector can take 280 workers, have profit gained Rp 3.192.484.500,-; also can give the poor family with zakat Rp 168.025.500,- every years. While for frozen fish sector we can take 178 workers, have profit gained Rp 30.748.429.272,-; and can give the poor family with zakat Rp 1.618.338.383,- every years.

Abstract

Fishery SMEs of in Malang city is increasing, these SMEs owner face up the challenge of confronting competitor’s product. Fishery SMEs can improve their competitiveness through marketing knowledge competency, entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and need to grow the marketing capabilities and improving marketing performance. This study aimed to analyze the effect of marketing knowledge competency on marketing capabilities, EO on marketing capabilities, marketing knowledge competency on marketing performance, EO on marketing performance, and marketing capability on marketing performance. This research used SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) with WarpPLS 3.0 approach. Population in this research were owner fishery SMEs as much as 304 owners in Malang City. Samples taken by proportionate random sampling technique. This research was conducted by spreading quetionnaires to 115 owners of fishery SMEs in Malang City. These results showed that marketing knowledge competency has positive and significant effect on marketing capabilities, EO has positive and significant effect on marketing capabilities, marketing knowledge competency has positive and significant effect on marketing performance, EO has positive and significant effect on marketing performance, and marketing capabilities has positive and significant effect on marketing performance. We recommend that the owners of fishery SMEs tp improve the EO and marketing capabilities to result good marketing performance. However, marketing competency knowledge should also be maintained.

Abstract

Dalam Rancangan Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah (RPJMD) tahun 2006, Kota Probolinggo mencanangkan untuk membangun sektor ekowisata berbasis wisata bahari dan pantai dan pada tahun 2012 investor PT. Bee Jay Bakau Resort mmewujudkan proyek dari Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo. Daerah muara kali banger yang dulunya merupakan daerah kumuh dan penuh sampah kini disulap menjadi sebuah daerah yang bernilai ekonomi serta menarik wisatawan baik domestik maupun mancanegara. Dengan adanya ekowisata ini diharapkan tidak hanya memberi manfaat berupa pendapatan asli daerah namun juga dampak sosial dan ekonomi terhadap masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi profil ekowisata konservasi hutan mangrove, Menganalisa Valuasi Ekonomi yang telah dilakukan pada ekowisata konservasi hutan mangrove dan menganalisis dampak positif sosial dan ekonomi yang didapat oleh masyarakat pesisir Selat Madura. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik penentuan narasumber non-probability dengan metode purposive. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa ekowisata konservasi mangrove ini didirikan oleh Investor PT. Bee Jay Bakau Resortproject (BJBR) diatas lahan 8,9 Ha milik Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo, didapatkan modal investasi sebesar Rp.507.000.000 dengan modal tetap Rp.520.442.00 dan modal lancar Rp.147.000.000. Kemudian biaya total Rp.667.642.000. Penerimaan Rp.960.000.000.        Nilai  Valuasi Ekonomi dengan Model Total Economic Value sebagai berikut :TEV = DUV + IUV + OV + BV           = Rp. (960.000.000,- + 10.060.554.700,- + 2.792.305.334,- + 96.000.000,- )           = Rp. 13.908.860.034.000,-Dampak Sosial yang dirasakan masyarakat pesisir yakni berupa tingkat pengangguran yang berkurang, serta indeks kesehatan masyarakat yang meningkat. Dampak ekonomi yang dirasakan masyarakat berupa peningkatan pendapatan, penduduk miskin berkurang.  Kata Kunci: Valuasi Ekonomi, Ekowisata

Abstract

This time, in the digital era, a business cannot be separated from digital marketing, this is by the explanation of technological developments. The existence of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia is a driving factor in the creation of national economic development because it can spur economic growth. The high use of social media, especially Facebook in Indonesia, encourages business people to use social media as marketing media. This is also done by Anugerah Mina Lestari  SMEs. So that researchers feel they are researching the Effectiveness of the UKM Mina Lestari Marketing System Using Facebook Social Media. The research used the EPIC Model which involved 80 samples. The sample is part of the population of product buyers from Anugerah Mina Lestari SMEs. The effectiveness of the Anugerah Mina Lestari SME marketing system through Facebook social media that was analyzed using the EPIC Model with four variables (Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, Communication), showed an EPIC Rate of 2.943 which means that the Anugerah Mina Lestari SMEs marketing system through Facebook social media can be assessed effectively.

Abstract

Blue Crab (Callinectes sapidus) is one of the most popular export commodities. One of the activities carried out by crab fishermen is traditional steaming so the steaming time is relatively long and the quality of the crab meat obtained is not good because it contains a lot of water. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to improve the quality of the crab by using a mechanical boiler. The target partners are Mr. Abd. Malik, the owner of UD. SM 33 (Madura Strait 33). The mechanical steamer machine is a stainless steel frame cabinet model with dimensions of 50 cm x 50 cm x 120 cm which has 5 shelves inside. This service method provides socialization and training on the use of this machine. The results of this activity can improve the skills of partners so that the quality of crab meat is better maintained because it reduces water content by 70% and production cost efficiency by 60%.

Abstract

Introduction: The increase in the purse seine fishing fleet and the decline in tuna production will have an impact on the decline in CPUE (Catch Per Unit Effort) per year. The CPUE trend that continues to decline every year is feared to have a negative impact on fish resource stocks and even the tendency of overfishing. Therefore, to overcome the existing problems, an integrated approach to fisheries management is needed through the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM). This study aims to assess the status and formulate management actions for tuna fisheries based in the Pasongsongan Coastal Fishing Port (PPP), Sumenep Regency. Methods: The types and sources of data used in this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through survey and observation methods. Interviews were conducted with 40 randomly selected purse seine fishermen respondents, as well as 1 employee of the Sumenep District Fisheries Office. Secondary data were collected through existing data such as tuna catch, number of trips, number of purse seine fleets, fish prices. Analysis was conducted through an indicator approach using the Multi Criteria Analysis (MCA) approach. Results: The results of the analysis show that the institutional domain shows a very good status, while for the domains of fish resources, fishing techniques, and social with good status, then the economic domain has a moderate status. Conclusion: Based on these indicators, the management status of tuna resources based in the Pasongsongan Coastal Fishing Port is generally in good condition.

Abstract

Tuna has an important economic value and is widely favored by people in Tulungagung Regency. According to BPS Kabupaten Tulungagung in 2018-2022 shows a significant increase in the volume and value of production, as well as the number of tuna fishing units. Tuna fishing business using purse seine gear is one of the important sectors in the fishing industry at UPT Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai Popoh Tulungagung, East Java. This study aims to analyze the financial characteristics of purse seine fishing in the region. The research methods include field surveys, interviews with fishermen, and financial data analysis such as profit, R/C ratio, payback period, NPV, IRR, B/C ratio, and sensitivity analysis. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling with a total of 50 respondents. This research was conducted in July 2023. The results of the financial feasibility analysis of fisheries business showed that the average business profit was Rp. 73,811,161 during the tuna season (4 months), the R/C ratio value was 1.37 and the payback period (PP) value was 5.5 years, NPV was Rp. 94,346,195, IRR was 13.2%, B/C ratio was 1.08. The results of the business risk analysis show the coefficient of variation (0.01) < 0.5 and the lower limit of profit (280,898,197) > 0 so that small pelagic purse seine fisheries are included in the category worth developing and avoiding losses or risks suffered are small.
