Abstract

Most of beef cattle farmers in Indonesia are dominated by small-scale farmer with ownership of three heads per household, homever the existence of small-scal farmer is expected to contribute to the development of the livestock sectore as whole. The interview was conducted with the total respondent at 30 beef cattle farmers at Larangan Dalam and Panaguan Village, Larangan Sub-District, Pamekasan Regency. The majority of the respondents' age range is 46-50 years old, with male breeders dominating, namely 76.67%, with the most educational qualifications being elementary school, namely 46.67%. The age and education level significantly affect the adoption rate of new technology. The objectives of raising livestock include fattening, breeding, and savings. In summary, the socio-culture was acted as important support in small-scale business development. The correlation between each socio-culture with new adaptation was a help to increase productivity in the future.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan pola saluran pemasaran dan efisiensi pemasaran telur ayam di kecamatan Kanigoro kabupaten Blitar. Tiga kelompok responden petani dipilih sebagai sampel convenience, grosir dan konsumen yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan selang snowball dengan kriteria bisnis lebih dari lima tahun. Pengumpulan dilakukan pada 12 Juni hingga 12 Juli 2014. Pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara yang hasilnya diproses oleh analisis margin dan hasil kuesioner diolah melalui SmartPLS, sedangkan data sekunder terdiri dari informasi pemasaran dari petani dan pedagang. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara analisis data kuantitatif melalui perhitungan margin dan nilai share peternak dilakukan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis SCP, maka kualitatif analisis data dengan model persamaan struktural melalui SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lima pola saluran pemasaran yang terjadi di Kabupaten Blitar kecamatan Kanigoro untuk Grade AA dan A memiliki 4 pola saluran pemasaran, yaitu tipe 1 peternak - pedagang grosir - grosir - pedagang kecil - konsumen, kemudian ketik 2 peternak - grosir pedagang - pedagang - konsumen, tipe 3 (a) peternak - pedagang grosir - konsumen, tipe 3 (b) peternak - pedagang grosir - minimarket dan jenis 4 peternak - hotel - konsumen. Share petani tertinggi dalam saluran pemasaran tipe 3 (a) sebagai peternak - pedagang grosir - konsumen dengan share peternak 91,08% dan mark-up sebesar Rp 1.600, -. Budaya, gaya hidup, harga pasar, jumlah pelanggan, kelompok sosial, persepsi berpengaruh positif terhadap efisiensi pemasaran.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                            Tujuan penelitian menganalisis model struktural dari pengaruh audit operasional fungsi pemasaran dan pengendalian internal terhadap efektivitas pelayanan konsumen. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah Manajer pemasaran dan staff di wilayah Malang serta Palembang sebanyak 30 responden dan divisi administrasi dalam recording serta auditor dan auditee (yang tidak termasuk kategori responden 30 orang) sebanyak 20 orang sehingga total responden sebanyak 50 orang. Analisis data dengan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) warpPLS. Audit operasional fungsi pemasaran dan pengendalian internal memiliki pengaruh terhadap efektivitas pelayanan sebesar 87%. Hasil audit operasional memiliki hasil temuan di dalam audit operasional fungsi pemasaran yang dinyatakan closed oleh auditor kepada auditee yang artinya temuan tersebut telah memiliki solusi yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pemasaran produk dan telah memiliki umpan balik positif dimana hasil tersebut berdampak positif pada efektivitas pelayanan konsumen. Bentuk pengendalian internal melalui aktivitas pengendalian dan pengawasan pada fungsi pemasaran yang telah diterapkan oleh pimpinan perusahaan meliputi pengendalian efektifitas program pemasaran melalui aktivitas dan pengawasan pemasaran, pengendalian strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan secara online dan offline, pegendalian keuntungan dan rentabilitas dalam kegiatan pemasaran dan pengendalian efisiensi pemasaran melalui personal selling yang dilakukan oleh sales di setiap outlet sehingga manajer pemasaran melakukan pengenalan pada setiap sumber pemasaran dalam meningkatkan prestasi marketing.Kata Kunci: audit, efektivitas, madu, pelayanan, pemasaran, pengendalianABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to analyze the structural model of the effect of the operational audit of marketing and internal control functions on the effectiveness of customer service. Respondents in this study were marketing managers and staff in Malang and Palembang as many as 30 respondents and the administrative division in recording and auditors and auditees (which do not belong to the category of respondents 30 people) as many as 20 people so that the total respondents were 50 people. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) warpPLS. The operational audit of marketing and internal control functions has an effect on service effectiveness by 87%. The results of operational audits have findings in operational audits of the marketing function that are declared closed by the auditor to the auditee, which means that the findings already have solutions that can improve the quality of product marketing and have positive feedback where the results have a positive impact on the effectiveness of customer service. Forms of internal control through control and supervision activities on the marketing functions that have been implemented by company leaders include controlling the effectiveness of marketing programs through marketing activities and supervision, marketing strategy control that was carried out online and offline, profit and profitability control in marketing activities and controlling marketing efficiency through personal selling conducted by sales at each outlet so that marketing managers make an introduction to each marketing source in improving marketing achievements.Keywords: audit, control, effectiveness, honey, marketing, service

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                            Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis curahan tenaga kerja terhadap usaha sapi potong, analisis produktivitas teknik tenaga kerja dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produktivitas teknik tenaga kerja usaha peternakan skala kecil. Lokasi penelitian di kecamatan Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur. Jumlah responden 90 peternak. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM), software yang digunakan warpPLS 5.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa curahan kerja anggota keluarga (suami, istri dan anak) sebanyak 4 jam/hari. Curahan tenaga kerja non keluarga sebanyak 0,08 jam/hari yang digunakan untuk menncari hijauan. Produktivitas teknis usahaternak sapi potong tidak efisien dan Tingkat partisipasi anak terhadap usahaternak sapi potong 11%. Model partisipasi tenaga kerja keluarga, jumlah kepemilikan ternak dan partisipasi anak terhadap usaha sapi potong memiliki pengaruh terhadap produktivitas teknis. Tingkat partisipasi anak dalan usahaternak sapi potong memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas teknis tenaga kerja.Kata Kunci: curahan tenaga kerja, partisipasi anak, produktivitas tenaga kerja, usaha sapi potongABSTRACTThe research objective was to analyze the outpouring of labor for beef cattle business, the analysis of labor engineering productivity and the factors that influence the productivity of small-scale livestock business labor techniques. Research location in Tumpang sub-district, Malang Regency, East Java. The number of respondents 90 farmers. Data analysis using the Structural Equation Model (SEM), the software used warpPLS 5.0. The results showed that the workflow of family members (husband, wife and children) was 4 hours/day. Non-family labor was as much as 0.08 hours/day used to search forage. The technical productivity of beef cattle business was inefficient and the level of children's participation in the beef cattle business is 11%. The model of family labor participation, the number of livestock ownership and child participation in the beef cattle business influence technical productivity. The level of participation of children in beef cattle business has a positive influence on the Technical Productivity of Labor.Keywords: beef cattle business, child participation, labor productivity, the outpouring of labor

Abstract

This research conducted in PT. Tunas Jaya Raya Abadi Nganjuk. The objectives of this research were obtain a better understandin internal as well as exsternal environmental condition, secondly trying to covering the formulate the marketing strategi. Method that used in this research was a survey method, it contains observation, interview, and documentation. The data analyzed by SWOT analysis. The result showed internal strategy factors matrix give positive value where it strengths were stronger than it weakness (S = 2,29>W = 0,71). External strategy factors’ matrix also give positive value where it opportunities values were bigger than it threats values (O = 1,84 > T = 0,70). From the result, we know that environmental condition in PT. Tunas Jaya Raya Abadi was very good, and gave good prospect for its progress in the future. It known from total score of strength and opportunities factors (SO = 4.13). From SWOT analysis, strategy that will be taken was in the first quadrant where internal and external factors were positive. In general terms, it means that the environmental condition of PT. Tunas Jaya Raya Abadi, relatively has bigger opportunity than its weaknesses. The decision that made by PT. Tunas Jaya Raya Abadi for marketing strategy was rapid strategy by which all opportunity could be captured as marketing consideration.

Abstract

Honey is a hype product as immunity booster in the health shock covid-19. Unbalance of supply and demand has raised the price and made the consumer could not afford it. Besides that, global issue about unoriginal honey which spreads in society has made the consumer has negative stigma on SMEs honey product because it does not have complete food safety certification as commercial company. Objective of the research was to increase the consumer trust through originality assurance for honey product from traceability system. The research is a case study with FGD method and then followed by Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) analysis and Business Process Notation as solution. Result of the research showed that the distribution aspect has great power to affect the stakeholder and logistic aspects, due to success of both aspects are determined by distribution aspect. While the stakeholder aspect does not have any power to affect other aspect because if the business system has correct SOP, then both aspects will have appropriate supply chain management. Therefore, the solution is business process improvisation, so that to increase the trust local brand for honey product, it must be optimized through recording system of customer journey, so that the producer could trace the barrier and enabler factors about perspective of the honey originality

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi wilayah Kabupaten Nganjuk dalam usaha peternakan sapi potong.Metode: Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik purposive. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey. Data penelitian terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wilayah Kabupaten Nganjuk berada didataran rendah dengan ketinggian antara 46-96 meter di atas permukaan laut (mdpl) dan berada di pegunungan dengan ketinggian 150-750 mdpl. Temperatur di dataran rendah berkisar antara 23-33C dengan kelembapan udara 75-78%, di wilayah pegunungan suhu udara berkisar antara 20-30C dengan kelembapan 80%. Produksi pakan ternak asal limbah pertanian dan perkebunan sebesar 572.594,94 ton/tahun dengan kandungan BK sebesar 276.926,99 Ton. Pemanfaatan lahan kritis yang ditanami hijauan makanan ternak sebesar 913.000 ton/tahun. Kepadatan ternak sapi potong sebesar 1,64 LU/ha.Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan penelitian Kabupaten Nganjuk merupakan wilayah potensial untuk pengembangan sapi potong dilihat dari potensi agroklimat, potensi sumber daya pakan dan potensi lahan.

Abstract

Baluran National Park faces public pressure in the form of illegal grazing, which threatens the preservation of flora and fauna in it. This study aims to analyze illegal grazing activities that threaten the conservation efforts of Baluran National Park in Sumberwaru Village, Asembagus district, Situbondo. Data collection was carried out from April to June 2021 with a qualitative approach. The data were taken from several key informants, namely 3 Baluran National Park officers, the Village Head of Sumberwaru, the Head of Loka Pasuruan, the Situbondo Livestock Service, and 12 extensive semi-intensive beef cattle breeders. The results showed that the behavior of illegal grazing was caused by cultural factors that did not prioritize profit but only as an investment and indicator of social status. As a result, maintenance management is very efficient and depends on feed that can be obtained for free by grazing wildly in the Baluran National Park conservation area. The solution required is a participatory Collaborative Forest Management that benefits all stakeholders.

Abstract

Blue Crab (Callinectes sapidus) is one of the most popular export commodities. One of the activities carried out by crab fishermen is traditional steaming so the steaming time is relatively long and the quality of the crab meat obtained is not good because it contains a lot of water. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to improve the quality of the crab by using a mechanical boiler. The target partners are Mr. Abd. Malik, the owner of UD. SM 33 (Madura Strait 33). The mechanical steamer machine is a stainless steel frame cabinet model with dimensions of 50 cm x 50 cm x 120 cm which has 5 shelves inside. This service method provides socialization and training on the use of this machine. The results of this activity can improve the skills of partners so that the quality of crab meat is better maintained because it reduces water content by 70% and production cost efficiency by 60%.

Abstract

The livestock industry is still struggling with the effects of climate change. All commodities, including beef cattle, are subject to the negative effects of climate change. One such effect is heat stress, which can result in losses in the form of reduced reproduction and productivity as well as welfare losses. The negative effects of climate change must be reduced through prevention, which includes adaptation. Beef cattle farmers make several different modifications. Socioeconomic considerations are one of the many types of factors that can contribute to this modification. This research was conducted in Probolinggo, Sumenep, and Tuban districts because these three areas have the largest beef cattle population in East Java. We interviewed 206 farmers using a questionnaire. The acquired data were examined using quantitative descriptive analysis and STATA 17 software with a multivariate probit model. This study discovered that beef cattle farmers used four adaptation strategies to deal with climate change, such as changing forage types to provide more nutrition; having routine immunization; working with veterinarians to improve biosecurity, vaccination, and animal health; and promoting artificial insemination using high-quality semen. Furthermore, socioeconomic determinants that have a major impact include age, access to credit, farming experience, level of education, access to non-farming income, and access to climate change knowledge. However, gender, family size, and livestock size had no effect on adaptation
