Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using problem-based learning methods on students' critical thinking ability with emotional intelligence as a moderating variable in 11th Grade Students of Social Studies at Al Islam Boarding School Senior High School, Kondangsari Village, Beber Sub District, Cirebon District. The research method used was a quasi-experimental with a factorial design. The subjects of this study were 66 students of 11th Grade Students of Social Studies (XI IPS) at Al Islam Boarding School Senior High School, Kondangsari Village, Beber Sub District, Cirebon District where the XI IPS 2 class was the experimental class and the XI IPS 3 class was the control class. The data analysis technique used the two-way ANOVA test. Based on the research results, it was known that there a significant effect of using problem based learning methods on critical thinking ability, there is significant effect of emotional intelligence on critical thinking ability, and there is significant interaction effect between the using problem based learning methods and emotional intelligence on students' critical thinking ability of 11th Grade Students of Social Studies at Al Islam Boarding School Senior High School, Kondangsari Village, Beber Sub District, Cirebon District. Therefore that emotional intelligence moderates the effect of using problem based learning methods on critical thinking ability.Keywords: problem based learning methods; emotional intelligence; critical thinking ability

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan oleh guru di sekolah masih rendah, banyak guru tidak melakukan penelitian untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah pembelajaran di kelas. Salah satu yang dapat mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi guru di kelas adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), PTK mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran menjadi lebih berkualitas . Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memberikan ilmu dan wawasan baru kepada guru-guru MGMP IPS SMP  Gugus Ciawigebang tentang penyusunan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), sehingga terbuka pikiran dan kompetensi serta  motivasi dalam diri mereka  untuk memiliki kemampuan dalam menyusun Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah berupa pelatihan melalui ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi serta praktek langsung. Hasil yang dicapai adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan guru-guru MGMP IPS mengenai penyusunan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) serta mampu menyusun PTK dengan baik dan benar.

Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni (IPTEKS) telah membawa perubahan di hampir semua aspek kehidupan manusia. Berbagai perubahan yang terjadi saat ini telah membawa manusia ke dalam suatu era persaingan di era global. Hal ini perlu disikapi dengan cepat oleh berbagai pihak dalam upaya mengantisipasi derasnya perubahan zaman terutama pada generasi milenial. Berbagai upaya untuk menyongsong perubahan yang terus terjadi di tengah-tengah kehidupan saat ini terus dilakukan. Upaya ini dilakukan agar tercipta sumber daya manusia (SDM) berkualitas yang diharapkan berperan aktif dalam menyongsong perubahan yang terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah sebagai upaya dalam memberikan bimbingan dan arahan jenjang karier pada kaum remaja berbasis life skill melalui peningkatan motivasi dalam berwirausaha. Yang menjadi kelompok sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah para Remaja kurang lebih 15 anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan diskusi dimana peserta kegiatan program pengabdian akan dibimbing dalam setiap kegiatan oleh pemateri. Target luaran yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini adalah mempersiapkan dan mengembangkan kreatifitas dalam menata karier para remaja dengan pembekalan dasar-dasar ilmu kewirausahaan untuk menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha pada remaja. Kata kunci: bimbingan karier, life skill, motivasi, wirausaha Abstract The development of science, technology and art (IPTEKS) has brought changes in almost all aspects of human life. Various changes that occur today have brought humans into an era of competition in the global era. This needs to be addressed quickly by various parties in an effort to anticipate the swift changes of the times, especially in the millennial generation. Various efforts to meet the changes that continue to occur in the midst of life today are continuously being carried out. This effort is made in order to create quality human resources (HR) who are expected to play an active role in welcoming changes that occur in the community. The purpose of this service is as an effort to provide guidance and direction for career paths for youth based on life skills through increasing motivation in entrepreneurship. The target group in this activity are teenagers, approximately 15 children. The method used is the lecture and discussion method where participants in the service program activities will be guided in each activity by the speaker. The output target resulting from this activity is to prepare and develop creativity in managing youth careers by providing the basics of entrepreneurship to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in adolescents. Abstract

The results of pre-research conducted by researchers by giving a questionnaire regarding entrepreneurial intentions to students, revealed that the entrepreneurial intentions of students at SMK Palasah District are still low. Various efforts can be made to increase entrepreneurial intentions, one of which is by learning entrepreneurial creative products. In addition to entrepreneurial knowledge, other internal factors such as attitudes, subjective norms and self-efficacy also affect the level of entrepreneurial intentions. The population in this study were all XII grade students of SMKN 1 Palasah and SMKS Ar Rahmat which amounted to 913 people with a sample proportion of 278 students. The results showed that 1) Entrepreneurial knowledge has a direct and positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. 2) Entrepreneurial attitudes mediate the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge on entrepreneurial intentions. 3) Subjective norms mediate the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on entrepreneurial intentions. 4) Self-efficacy mediates the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

Critical thinking is crucial for students. One of the efforts to improve critical thinking through learning changes is by applying group investigation (GI) and problem-based learning (PBL) methods. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the GI and PBL methods on students' critical thinking skills with learning styles as the moderator variable. The research method was quasi-experimental with a 2 x 3 factorial design. The research subjects were class X students of Cilimus Vocational School, class of 2018-2019. This study used two-way ANOVA with SPSS 21 to analyze the data. The results showed that GI and PBL significantly affected students' critical thinking skills. It can be seen that (1) the GI learning method is more effective than the PBL learning method; (2) students' learning styles (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) have no effect on student's critical thinking skills. Likewise, students' learning styles do not affect students' critical thinking skills; (3) There is no relationship between interactive learning methods and learning styles to increase students' critical thinking. In other words, learning styles do not strengthen or weaken the effect of applying experimental learning methods to improve student's critical thinking skills

Abstract

Kewirausahaan yang dilakukan oleh ibu-ibu Desa Ciomas Kecamatan Ciawigebang Kabupaten Kuningan masih rendah, banyak ibu-ibu yang hanya berperan sebagai ibu rumah tangga tanpa mencoba untuk mandiri dan membantu perekonomian keluarga. Salah satu yang dapat mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi ibu-ibu rumah tangga  adalah memiliki usaha sendiri dengan menjadi wirausaha, wirausaha mampu menjadikan ibu-ibu berdaya, mandiri serta membantu perekonomian keluarga. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memberikan ilmu dan wawasan baru kepada ibu-ibu Desa Ciomas Kecamatan Ciawigebang Kabupaten Kuningan tentang kewirausahaan sehingga terbuka pikiran dan keahlian serta motivasi dalam diri mereka untuk memiliki usaha sendiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah berupa penyuluhan dan pelatihan melalui ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Hasil yang dicapai adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan ibu-ibu Desa Ciomas Kecamatan Ciawigebang Kabupaten Kuningan serta mampu membuat produk baik makanan ataupun kerajinan secara inovatif dan kreatif.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know: (1) the influence of both Entrepreneurship knowledge and family environment for interest in entrepreneurship students; and (2) the difference of entrepreneurship interest in the students who come from entrepreneurial families and non-entrepreneurial families.This research belongs to survey research. The population of this research was 989 students of economics faculty in Unswagati and the sample of this research was the 91 respondents among them. The data of this research were obtained through questionnaires. Multiple linear regression technique and independent samples t-test were employed as the data analysis technique. The result shows that: (1) There is a positive effect of entrepreneurship knowledge for entrepreneurial interest; (2) There is a positive effect of family environment for entrepreneurial interest; and (3) there are difference of entrepreneurial interest in the students of the Faculty of Economics who come from entrepreneurial families and non-entrepreneurial families. Keywords: Entrepreneurial interest, Entrepreneurship Knowledge, Family Environment.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the use of Quizizz-based digital learning media affects the level of motivation and student learning outcomes. The type of research used is pseudo-experimental research (quasi), with a paired sample t-test research design. The subjects in this study were Level I Economics Education. The research data collection technique used in this study was a test to measure learning outcomes, as well as an observation instrument to see the level of student learning motivation. The research data analysis technique used the t test. Based on the results showed that the research hypothesis was accepted, this was indicated by the coefficient t count> t table. So that the hypothesis which states that there is an average difference between pretest and posttest learning outcomes, there is an effect of using quizizz-based digital learning media in improving student learning outcomes is accepted. As educators in the millennial era, it is important to use technology in the learning process. Technology-based education that is packaged in an attractive and innovative way will certainly involve more active participation from students, so that they are able to develop their potential according to the demands of education in the digital era. Keywords: Digital Quizizz Media, Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran digital berbasis Quizizz terhadap tingkat motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi), dengan desain penelitian paired sample t-test. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Tingkat I Pendidikan Ekonomi. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar, serta instrument observasi untuk melihat tingkat motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hipotesis penelitian diterima hal ini ditunjukkan dengan koefisien thitung > ttabel. Sehingga hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil belajar pretest dengan postest, ada pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran digital berbasis quizizz dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa diterima. Sebagai Pendidik di era milenial penting untuk menggunakan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendidikan berbasis teknologi yang dikemas secara menarik dan inovatif tentu akan lebih banyak melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari para mahasiswa, sehingga mampu mengembangkan potensi sesuai tuntutan Pendidikan di era digital.
