Abstract

Abstract: Periodization figures of nahwu science (syntax) of Basrah current is divided into six periods, one period of the initiators and five periods of development. In each period, there are characters who are very instrumental with brilliant ideas. Abul-Aswad a'd-Duwalī is the originator of the birth of science nahwu figure. The characters that appear after Abul-Aswad a'd-Duwalī have some notions contradiction with previous figures opinion of their teacher. Dynamics like these that delivers the development of science nahwu (syntax) has classic peaked during the Sibawaihi. In addition, the difference of opinion in the next period triggered a new stream in science nahwu. Factors that encourage the development of science nahwu in Basrah is a factor of sociology, cultural, and strategic geographical location with many travelers from other regions, the stability of a society that is far from the wars and violence, the number of learning activities in the mosque of Basra and their Mirbad market as a place for expression in the work, especially the field of language and literature. Abstract

Translating is a language skill in transfering meanings or messages from a source language (SL) to a target language (TL) by considering lingustic aspects and the culture of its speakers. In translation activity, the transfered messages should not be different from those of the source language, thus the speakers of the target language are able to understand the meanings or massages received. The importance of translating Indonesian text into Arabic language involves providing information about Indonesian cultures such a way that people will be well informed of Indonesia in general. The subject of this study is the students majoring in Arabic language and literature, particularry those who are taking translation course. The problem of the study is concerned with translation applied by the students in translating Indonesian writtten texts Arabic language. The second problem of the study dealt with finding errors made by the students in translating the texts. The kind of this study is a field research. Speaking & listening methods were used to collect data. Meanwhile, descriptive qualitative technique was used to analyze data. The results of the study indicate that the translation strategies applied by the students in this research consist of transposition (8) form addiction (7), arabic formation (6), borrowing meanings (5), word reduction (4), deletion (2), narrowing (2) and using synonim (1). Then, the unused strategies in translating Ibnu Rusdy’ t texts concist of modulation, expansion, equvalence and transfer. in the meantime, the errors made by the students in translating the texts are in terms of semantic error, (6 times), phonological error (4 ), morphological error (8) and syntactical error (5). Abstract

Buku Mahfuzhat : Kumpulan Kata Mutiara, Peribahasa Arab-Indonesia merupakan salah satu buku terjemahan yang menjadi best seller dan sempat dicetak selama empat tahun mulai tahun 2010 sampai dengan 2014. Buku ini menjadi objek penelitian dengan beberapa pertimbangan yaitu: Pertama, secara konten, buku ini berisikan falsafah hidup yang diajarkan oleh Rasulullah SAW, Sahabat, tabiin dan para ulama shalih kepada umat Islam untuk menjadikannya sebagai pertimbangan dan acuan dalam bersikap atau menyikapi hal-hal yang terkait dengan persoalan kehidupan umat manusia. Kedua, buku ini mengandung terjemahan teks sastra dan terjemahan teks keagamaan. Kualitas terjemahan itu dapat diukur berdasarkan keakuratan pesan (accuracy in content), keberterimaan (acceptability), dan keterbacaan (readability) terjemah. Ketiga kualitas tersebut memiliki hubungan timbal balik satu sama lain. Karena semua itu memegang peranan penting. Idealnya seorang penerjemah harus bisa menghasilkan terjemahan dengan tingkat keakuratan, keberterimaan, dan keterbacaan yang tinggi. Buku ini berdasarkan kreteria kualitas terjemahan termasuk buku terjemahan yang mudah dibaca dan dipahami makna atau maksud/pesan yang disampaikan. Di antara faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kualitas terjemahan adalah ideologi, metode dan prosedur penerjemahan yang digunakan. Dalam penerjemahan buku ini khususnya nasehat Imam Syafei, penerjemah menggunakan beberapa metode yang ditawarkan oleh Newmark. Metode yang digunakan tersebut adalah meteode yang berorientasi pada bahasa sumber yang terdiri dari metode penerjemahan kata demi kata sebanyak 19 data, metode penerjemahan harfiah sebanyak 12 data, metode penerjemahan semantik sebanyak 4 data. Sedangkan metode yang berorientasi pada bahasa sasaran terdiri dari metode penerjemahan bebas sebanyak 80 data, metode penerjemahan adaptasi sebanyak 1 data dan metode penerjemahan komunikasi sebanyak 42 data.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze gender mainstreaming in student organizations from the basic aspects, student understanding, and policy implementation in several Islamic religious universities. This research is normative-empirical. This study found that implementing gender mainstreaming in student organizations was not optimal from the legal aspect, student understanding, and implementation. From the legal aspect, they have not included a philosophical foundation with the value of gender justice and equality, have not made a wise local academic culture the basis for sociological considerations, and have not included a juridical basis related to the acceleration of gender mainstreaming. From the aspect of student understanding of gender, it is still very low, which is indicated by the composition of the Intra-Campus Student Organization (OMIK) in strategic positions dominated by men. And from the aspect of implementation, it has not been optimal due to among others the commitment of the academic community to the enforcement of gender-responsive policies is still low and the activities in the field of student affairs that are carried out are not based on gender analysis.

Abstract

Abstract Pondok pesantren merupakan sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang berbasis agama, baik yang berbasis tradisional maupun yang modern. Pesantren mengajarkan al-Qur’an dan Bahasa Arab, ilmu keislaman, dan ketrampilan hidup. Pelajar di Pesantren disebut santri. Mereka dididik dan diasah untuk menjadi generasi yang mempunyai peran besar dalam membangun negeri, baik di bidang keagamaan, pendidikan, social masyarakat pemerintahan maupun perpolitikan. Rutinitas santri dalam mengenyam pendidikan berlangsung selama 24 jam. proses Pendidikan ini menjadikan mareka memiliki kemampuan dan ketrampilan serta daya saing sebagai persiapan untuk membangun Indonesia kedepan. Para santri terbiasa mengaji dan mengkaji al-Qur’an sebagai pondasi menganalisis permasalahan bangsa. Mereka terbiasa memakai jas dan dasi sebagai persiapan untuk terjun di ajang-ajang bergengsi. Simbol-simbol sebagai anak bangsa yang sukses dan kontributif telah mereka gunakan sejak dini. Harapan kedepan, mereka akan berperan aktif dalam membangun negeri ini. Abstract

The Ministry of Religion is committed to preventing and dealing with sexual violence by issuing a policy in the form of Director General's Decree Number 5494 of 2019 which applies to all Islamic Religious Universities. This research aims to determine the implementation of this decree and the factors that hinder it. The research method used is qualitative with an empirical juridical approach. Data collection methods use interviews and documentation. The informants for this research were 26 PTKIN/PTKIS randomly. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis. This research found that the Director General's Decree Number 5494 of 2019 has not been implemented properly. The factors that influence this are 1) not all PTKI have regulations derived from the Director General's Decree Number 5494 of 2019; 2) the PTKI leadership's concern regarding the issue of sexual violence on campus is still weak; 3) there is still a legal culture in the campus community that prioritizes protecting the disgrace/dignity of higher education rather than the losses suffered by victims; 4) lack of human resources who understand gender mainstreaming and victim protection; and 5) lack of funding. Efforts that need to be made to create a campus free from sexual violence are 1) making clear regulations regarding the prevention and handling of sexual violence on campus; 2) strengthening the academic community's understanding of gender mainstreaming; and 3) forming an integrated service unit. Thus, the implementation of the decree has not been implemented well with various obstacles.
