Abstract

Peningkatan produksi pada UMKM roti kembang goyang perlu dioptimalkan, terutama pada sistem penggorengannya. Hal tersebut mendasarai peneliti untuk mencari opsi yang tepat untuk mengoptimalkan proses penggorengan. Mesin kue kembang goyang yang dibuat ini terbagi menjadi 3 bagian utama diantaranya pengaduk, cetakan dan penggorengan. Pembuat kue kembang goyang ini dirancang untuk mengoptimalkan sistem penggorengan dengan dimensi Ø572xØ407x100x1.5 mm. Pengaturan temperatur awal penggorengan 1000C. Kegiatan Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan terhadap UMKM roti kembang goyang di daerah Kecamatan Porong Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hasil analisa menunjukkan perbandingan proses penggorengan kue kembang goyang menggunakan sistem konvensional dan menggunakan mesin, analisa tersebut menunjukkan perbedaan yang siknifikan yaitu 2 kg pada temperatur 1150C dan 5 kg pada temperatur 1540C.

Abstract

Kendung Village is known as "Kampung Semanggi" because the majority work as clover traders. The drying process of clover leaves is dried in the sun for 5 – 6 hours depending on weather conditions. During the rainy season, the drying process becomes slightly hampered due to rain or clouds. The aim of this program is to increase the efficiency of drying clover leaves by creating a drying machine powered by solar panels. This research uses the implementation method of purchasing tools and materials, making a clover leaf dryer, outreach with the local community, installing solar panels and installing batteries, testing drying time using a clover leaf drying machine. The use of a clover leaf drying machine based on solar panel electrical energy helps make the cloverleaf drying process easier, especially during the rainy season

Abstract

In the increasingly developing digital era, there are several computer skills that high school students must have. One of them is understanding the basics of programming and software development. This service program aims to introduce basic programming concepts and systematic logical thinking to Wachid Hasyim 5 High School students and motivate students to learn computers as a basic skill that must be possessed in the current era by creating game programs with Scratch. The implementation of this training was carried out using a participatory approach where the implementing team provided direct learning and assistance to participants. Mentoring is provided until students can master the material for making games with Scratch. The results of this service program are an increase in students' understanding of the basics of computer programming and an increase in students' skills in creating games with Scratch. This is proven by the post-test results which increased after the training was implemented.
