Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang studi eksperimental pengaruh variasi beban dan variasi aliran terhadap efek water hammer. Dimana efek ini akan mempengaruhi tekanan air yang akan dihasilkan jika setelah pembebanan dan perubahan bukaan valve yang diberikan akan menghasilkan efek water hammer yang lebih baik atau cenderung lebih buruk bila tidak memiliki kedua efek tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan studi eksperimental yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tekanan yang terjadi pada saat air mengalir dan kemudian ditutup secara tiba-tiba oleh katup pembuangan yang dihubungkan dengan aliran pipa dengan diameter 1,5 inci setelah beban dan variasi bukaan katup. Pada uji efek water hammer dengan sistem pompa water hammer hidrolik ini dimungkinkan untuk mengubah bukaan katup pemasukan air dengan perubahan beban katup yang diberikan untuk menentukan tekanan water hammer maksimum 378334,64 Pa setelah menerima katup bukaan 80 derajat dan tambahan beban 250 gr, dan efek water hammer terkecil dengan nilai 321376,44 Pa pada bukaan katup 50 derajat dan beban 150 gr. Saat menginvestigasi pompa hydraulic ram ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ukuran bukaan valve atau jumlah air yang masuk dan besarnya beban pada discharge valve yang akan mempengaruhi tekanan akan meningkat.

Abstract

The working system of the heating process on a plastic injection molding machine needs to be considered in more detail. Due to the influence of temperature and the type of material according to the quality of the product. In this study, the plastic injection machine that used a temperature variation used several different variations, and three experiments were given at each temperature variation of 200°C – 250°C using 75 grams of plastic material with a heating time of 120-141 seconds and 150 grams of plastic material with a heating time of 120-141 seconds. Warm-up 210-250 seconds. Temperature control using the REX C100 Controller. The injection machine can operate according to the design. Namely, the heating temperature can be adjusted. Implementation and control of the control system show a good response. The plastic to be melted is of the HDPE (High-Density polypropylene) type with a temperature for melting the plastic of 250°C.

Abstract

The bread machine is also a leverage to increase production capacity and production quality. In contrast to manual bread production, which requires a lot of effort and time, a bread machine makes everything more efficient. The bread machine's output is better than manual production's. Besides that, the hygiene of the bread produced is guaranteed. The device is sterile and safe because all materials are protected with stainless plates, a mixer motor flame that can be adjusted according to needs, and an automatic oven according to requirements. The tray uses hygienic, not harmful to health, and environmentally friendly and pollution-free materials. The level of safety in use is higher because it has appropriate dimensions. The technique for operating a semi-automatic bread-making machine with a production capacity of 4 kg requires 45 minutes with an oven process temperature of 100 ºC to 150 ºC.

Abstract

The food drying process is an innovative method to change the process of reducing the water content of fresh food products of plant origin to slow down the emergence and growth of unwanted microorganisms. This heating system has four heating elements, where the heating elements used have a power of 1200W because each heating element has a power of 300W. During the drying process, it is known that the average air temperature in the drying room is higher when using solar energy compared to a heating system. The average temperature measurement during the day is 38°C. The measurement results tend to be constant, with an average of 34°C for 7 hours using the heating system. The battery voltage shows an increase every hour. At 08:30 am the battery voltage was 12.3V, and until 16.00 the voltage was 13.57V. This dryer is sourced from solar energy because using solar for drying requires a longer time, namely 8 hours (08.30-16.00), compared to using a heating system for 7 hours.

Abstract

Geographically, Indonesia is an agricultural country. It greatly supports agricultural production. So that the quality and commodity of agricultural products (soybean) remains high, it is necessary to have new ideas or ideas, one of which is by processing tempeh chips to become quality. It prompted researchers to develop innovative equipment that can speed up the tempe chopping process by creating an appropriate technology machine that can produce more optimal chopped tempeh compared to the conventional method, which is 30 kg/hour. This appropriate technology machine is implemented in UKM chips tempeh, Sukomanunggal sub-district, Surabaya City. The machine can help speed up the process of chopping tempeh so that production time can be optimally increased.

Abstract

Butanol merupakan biofuel dengan karakteristik kimia yang mirip dengan bensin, diimplementasikan pada mesin Spark Ignition (SI) kapasitas kecil dan bertransmisi Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Pada penyuluhan ini bahwa butanol yang digunakan dicampur dengan bahan bakar murni untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik pembakaran dan kinerja mesin. penyuluhan ini dilaksanakan terhadap pelaku bengkel dengan jumlah tujuh orang mekanik di sidoarjo untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang peluang butanol sebagai biofuel sebagai pengganti bahan bakar standard dan layak digunakan sehari-hari pada kendaraan bermotor. Selain itu butanol merupakan bahan bakar yang ramah lingkungan serta optimal terhadap kendaraan bermotor.

Abstract

Empowering appropriate technology is very important to support the sustainability of small businesses in the region. This activity is essential to introduce appropriate technology to high school/vocational school students as young technology drivers. This community service program aims to teach students how to use relevant technology in everyday life. Guiding in completing appropriate technology according to the needs the small business desires properly and correctly. The method for implementing community service activities is carried out by directing the Implementation and completion of the tools used at the regional level. The first stage is developing and applying TTG machines in natural resource management. The second stage is implementing the TTG machine for community empowerment (strategic opportunities and challenges). The third stage is implementing TTG machines to manage abundant natural resource potential. The fourth stage is the promotion of TTG machines for community empowerment in the Implementation of Law No. 6 of 2014. The fifth stage is the design and method of making the TTG machine.

Abstract

Wringin Kurung Hamlet is one of the hamlets of Gresik Regency, in 2016 a 100m deep well was drilled in this area as well as the construction of a 12 cubic tank with assistance from the government. Currently, HIPPAM managing Tirta Agung's clean water has been distributed to 271 residents' homes. HIPPAM management is still very simple, the HIPPAM organizational structure only consists of a Chairman, deputy elders, Secretary, Treasurer, technicians and operations. The method refers to the objectives of the activities that have been determined, namely the problem of producing water from the well directly pumped into reservoirs and then distributed to residents, so that the water is often accompanied by sand and is sometimes cloudy. There is no spare pump and pipe for the prospective new well because the source is located far from the source and installing new pumps, repairing and assisting tertiary pipe installations and adding plug n play filters in several tertiary channels. Internalizing a good work culture in the management environment by holding training and mentoring on organizational culture, structuring human resources, providing a sipemeter application used for recording water meters, knowing income, expenses and profit and loss from partners, apart from this, training and mentoring for new businesses has been carried out wash the motorbike. In this new business, the team provides assistance and training to partners, both in terms of management and financial management.

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM ini mendukung salah satu bidang fokus utama Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat 2024 yaitu bidang Green Economy pada penggunaan lpg sebagai bahan bakar untuk mengoperaskan TTG yang diberikan. Mitra dalam PKM ini adalah ibu Pamiyati pemilik usaha krupuk telang dan kelor, beralamat di Desa Sedapurklagen, Benjeng, Gresik yang berjarak 18 KM dari Kampus UWP. Urgensi dari kegiatan ini kapasitas produksi yang rendah dan produk yang dihasilkan kurang baik sehingga memerlukan sentuhan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kapasitas dan kualitas produksi mitra dan meningkatkan omset mitra. Permasalahan prioritas, yaitu; bidang Produksi; peralatan produksi masih tradisonal dan tidak ergonomis, bergantung pada sinar matahari untuk pengeringan krupuk, kurang sehat dan tidak hiegienis, pekerja tidak memakai APD; bidang Pemasaran; penjualan tidak stabil, kemasan masih menggunakan plastik tipis, label dan merk kurang menarik, bidang Manajemen Usaha; belum ada pencatatan keuangan dan belum memahami kesehatan pangan. Solusi yang ditawarkan; peningkatan kapasitas dan kualitas produk melalui pengembangan TTG Mesin Pengering krupuk bunga telang dan daun kelor, peningkatan kemampuan usaha, peningkatan luasan pemasaran, perbaikan kemasan, label dan merk, belum ada pencatatan keuangan. Metode pelaksanan dengan pengembangan TTG Mesin Pengering krupuk telang dan kelor, pelatihan, pendampingan dan kemitraan. Luaran yang ditargetkan dalam program ini adalah 1) tersedianya satu unit TTG Mesin Pengering krupuk yang ergonomis, hemat bahan bakar karena menggunakan LPG, aman, dan higienis, dan cukup mengurangi jejak karbo 2) Alat pengorengan krupuk pasir, 3) peningkatan kapasitas dan kualitas produk mitra sebesar 30%, 4) peningkatan jumlah omzet mitra sebesar 30%, 5) peningkatan pengetahuan mitra meningkat sebesar 50%, 6) peningkatan keterampilan mitra 50%, 6) Publikasi pada Jurnal Nasional terakreditasi SINTA 1-6 di Jurnal Sinergitas PKM-CSR (Sinta 4 https://ojs.uph.edu/index.php/JSPC/about/editorialTeam ), 7) Publikasi pada Konferensi Nasional Ke-9 PKM-CSR,( https://prosiding-pkmcsr.org/index.php/pkmcsr) 8) Publikasi pada media masa elektronik Radar Surabaya (radarsby.com), dan 9) Video yang diunggah di kanal Youtube LPPM-UWP.

Abstract

Dusun Wringin Kurung merupakan salah satu dusun Kabupaten Gresik, pada tahun 2016 wilayah tersebut di lakukan pengeboran sumur sedalam 100m sekaligus pembangunan tandon 12 kubik atas bantuan dari pemerintah Pada saat ini HIPPAM pengelola Air bersih Tirta Agung sudah disalurkan kepada 271 rumah warga. Manajemen HIPPAM masih sangat sederhana, struktur organisasi HIPPAM hanya terdiri dari Ketua, wakil teua, Sekretaris, Bendahara, teknisi dan operasional. Metode mengacu pada tujuan kegiatan yang telah ditetapkan yaitu dari masalah produksi air dari sumur langsung dipompa ke tandon kemudian dialirkan ke warga, sehingga seringkali air disertai pasir dan terkadang keruh Belum memliki cadangan pompa dan pipa untuk calon sumur baru karena letak sumber yang berjauhan dengan pengadaaan dan instalasi pompa baru, perbaikan dan pendampingan instalasi pipa tersier dan penambahan filter plug n play di beberapa saluran tersier. Internalisasi budaya kerja yang baik di lingkungan pengurus denagn mengadakan pelatihan dan pendampingan budaya organisasi, penataan SDM, rekrutment pegawai baru dan pelatihan pengelolan usaha, pelatihan perhitungan harga pokok penjualan air bersih termasuk musayawarah dengan warga dan pengurus Desa dan BPD. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah produksi air lebih bersih dan dalam pengelolaan manajemen lebih baik dengan adanya aplikasi yang di kembangkan.
