Abstract

Online school during the COVID-19 pandemic makes the children prone to cyberattacks and malware. Therefore, cybersecurity awareness among children is critical. Online games and stories caused children to neglect their studying time. Therefore, this paper aims to describe the importance of cybersecurity awareness among children. Analyses were performed by using a literature review. Inclusion criteria are review and research articles. Inclusion criteria are review and research articles that were read twice to reduce the bias, then were summarized and narrated descriptively. Results revealed that cybersecurity awareness could be increased by digital literacy training. Children should be taught how to avoid risky behavior online. The cybersecurity awareness program is suitable for children to avoid phishing, pornography, cyberbullying, identity theft, and breaking of privacy. Children must be taught how to keep their passwords safe and private. They also need to be more cautious when playing online games. In conclusion, digital literacy and cybersecurity programs can be taught to children. These programs are suitable for raising cybersecurity among children.

Abstract

Purpose: This paper aimed to comprehend the strategy to increase the creative economy during the pandemic, especially about e-commerce and supply chain. Research methodology: This is a review of the literature. This paper used the database in Science Direct and Google Scholar. The keywords used were COVID-19, creative economy, e-commerce, increase, supply chain, and strategy. Results: The effectiveness of the supply chain can be improved by analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges (SWOT) so that strengths and opportunities can be optimized. E-commerce can be increased by enhancing creativity and innovation. Another way is cooperating with the government and other entrepreneurs. Limitations: This paper is a narrative literature review. There are only a few studies about e-commerce and the supply chain during the COVID-19 pandemic in this paper. Further studies are needed to increase the e-commerce and supply chain for each item and commodities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Contribution: The contribution of this paper is for the creative economy in increasing the effectiveness of supply chains and e-commerce.

Abstract

Menjaga kesehatan psikologi atlet selama masa pandemi covid-19 merupakan hal yang sangat penting di samping menjaga rutinitas latihan. Pandemi covid-19 yang telah berlangsung lebih dari setahun. Segala kegiatan di luar masih harus dibatasi walau sudah diterapkan vaksinasi. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana cara menjaga kesehatan psikologi atlet selama masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penulisan dengan menggunakan penelusuran pustaka dari database PubMed, Science Direct, dan Google Scholar. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah atlet, kesehatan psikologi, dan pandemi covid-19. Hasilnya didapatkan bahwa kesehatan psikologi atlet berkaitan dengan mental juara. Mental juara memberikan kekuatan untuk tetap berjuang di kondisi sulit. Komitmen, ambisi positif, dan resiliensi adalah faktor pendorong utama. Mental juara ini dibangun dari kerja keras, jiwa kepemimpinan, dan proses yang panjang. Kesimpulan: menjaga kesehatan psikologi atlet harus dimulai dengan memperkuat mental juara. Hal ini bisa dilakukan melalui proses berkelanjutan dari diri sendiri. Mental yang kuat adalah kunci menghadapi situasi apapun di tengah pandemi covid-19 ini.

Abstract

Kemenangan atlet dalam suatu pertandingan ditentukan oleh banyak faktor. Salah satu faktor yang cukup penting adalah asupan gizi yang optimal. Ada beberapa pendapat berbeda mengenai jenis dan waktu pemberian asupan gizi sebelum pertandingan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan mengenai pemilihan asupan gizi yang optimal sebelum pertandingan olahraga. Metode yang digunakan adalah narrative literature review. Artikel dipilih dari Science Direct dan Google Scholar. Kriteria inklusi adalah tinjauan pustaka dan penelitian. Kriteria eksklusi adalah tidak tersedianya teks secara lengkap dan artikel yang belum dilakukan penilaian sejawat (peer review). Artikel terpilih dirangkum dan dinarasikan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil telaah pustaka menunjukkan bahwa pemberian karbohidrat selama enam hari sebelum bertanding memberikan hasil yang baik dalam hal peningkatan simpanan glikogen dalam otot. Hal ini disebut sebagai carbohydrate loading. Proses ini penting untuk mencegah kelelahan selama bertanding. Simpulan: pemberian karbohidrat enam hari sebelum bertanding baik untuk mengurangi kelelahan saat bertanding dengan cara menyiapkan cadangan glikogen bagi tubuh.

Abstract

Using electronic devices is a common thing nowadays. Moreover, in the COVID-19 pandemic, all activities must be done from home. Learning, working, and leisure activities are done from home by gadgets. Therefore, electronic device demands are getting higher. E-waste disposal must be a concern for all electronic device users. Lack of awareness on proper management for e-waste disposal may cause harmful effects on human health, plants, soils, and the environment. The effects are increasing the risks of cancers, soil, and environmental pollution. This paper aims to describe the safe management of e-commerce-waste disposal to prevent harmful effects on human health and the environment. Databases from Science Direct, PubMed, and Google Scholar were used. The keywords were disposal AND environment AND e-waste AND health AND management. There were 2170 journals at the beginning. After screening by the title, abstract, and full text, there were 35 journals. Inclusion criteria were full text available, review, and research. Exclusion criteria are opinion and commentary. Reverse logistics is a way to dispose of e-waste by increasing the economic value of the waste. Another alternative to e-waste management is making art and craft from e-waste. Conclusion: Reverse logistics must be taught to people to save the planet from the harmful effects of the unwise management of e-waste disposal. Art and craft from e-waste can be done to increase economic value and reduce hazards to health and the environment. Soil assessment of heavy metal concentration surrounding the waste dump area must be done regularly to prevent bioaccumulation.

Abstract

The government has implemented the national economic recovery program in 2021. The Financial Ministry of Indonesia Republic has announced a press release based on the national economic recovery program. This program is essential because the COVID-19 pandemic has not been ended yet, although the vaccination program has been done. The economic recession still happens. This paper aims to describe the national economic recovery program in 2021. Methodology: a literature review. Literature was derived from Google Scholar and Science Direct.  The result showed that the National Economic Recovery Program coordinates and synergy among the Government, Bank Indonesia, Finance Service Authority, Saving Guarantee Institution, and banks. The national economic recovery program protects the consumption and purchasing power of the poor and vulnerable, funding for small and medium enterprises, tax incentives for businesses, the establishment of labour-intensive projects to absorb labour, and credit restructuring.

Abstract

Online learning has become a requirement during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ministry of Education asks the teachers and students to use online classes during the pandemic. Teaching English using ICT is a challenging condition for teachers. Not all teachers are familiar with ICT. This paper aims to describe the ICT Role and implementation in Teaching English during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: this is a literature review. Literature was searched in Science Direct and Google Scholar databases. Keywords were COVID-19, English Teaching, ICT, implementation, role. Results revealed that ICT in English Teaching is started from CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning), TELL (Technology-Enhanced Language Learners), LMS (Learning Management System), and blended learning. YouTube and WhatsApp are preferred to be done because it is practical. Performance-based assessment is important during teaching English subject because students can learn how to perform, speaking, and debating during the performance. In conclusion, there are many systems available for teaching English using ICT. The systems are CALL, TELL, LMS, blended, WhatsApp, YouTube, and Performance-Based Assessment. The main goal is students’ understanding of the English subjects. The choice depends on study goal, teachers’ and students’ preference also feasibilities.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic has made changes to all aspects of life. Work must be done at home or somewhere outside the office. Although a virtual office is mostly done from one’s home, it can be done anywhere. The aim of this paper is to describe the positive and negative psychological aspects when implementing virtual offices at home for employees and employers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Background Problems: A virtual office has commonly been used during the pandemic condition. Many psychological aspects of a virtual office can affect the employee and his/her family. The impacts can be both positive and negative. Research problem: There are negative impacts, from a psychological aspect, of creating a virtual office at home besides the positive values. Novelty: This paper highlights the psycho­logical aspects when implementing a virtual office at home. People often think that working from home has no challenges at all; it is considered to be more flexible and comfortable. On the other hand, working from home has many aspects that should be considered from the employees’ and employers’ views. Research Methods: This is a narrative literature review. Various types of literature were taken from the Science Direct and Google Scholar databases. Inclusion criteria were research and review articles. Exclusion criteria were un peer-reviewed articles and unavailable full texts. To maintain the quality of the paper, all the articles were read twice. The articles were categorized in a table, summarized, and then narrated. Finding/Results: The positive psychological impacts are flexibility, creativity, and independence. A worker can creatively manage his/her time accordingly, to create a life balance between work and family. The negative psychological impacts are life-work conflicts, burnout, and the autonomy-paradox. Conclusion: The essential keys for a virtual office’s implementation are resilience, creativity, flexibility, and adaptation. The use of a virtual office may continue, due to time and financial efficiencies, despite the COVID-19 pandemic ending.

Abstract

Background: Urinary incontinence (UI) is a significant health problem with considerable social and economic impact. Distinguishing between prevalence and incidence of incontinence is important. There are significant variations in the severity and impact of incontinence, and its severity, frequency, and predictability all need to be considered when evaluating its effects on patients, the degree of bother is particularly significant when determining who will need treatment. Incontinence may be a result of bladder dysfunction, sphincter dysfunction, or a combination of both, but large-scale studies are not designed to determine the etiology. Aim: To know the prevalence of UI in aged women in Peguyangan village, Denpasar, Bali.Method: This is cross-sectional descriptive design conducted in Peguyangan Village Denpasar, Bali, in early July 2017. There were 79 of 94 aged women above 65 years involved in the survey using a questionnaire.Result: In young women, the prevalence of incontinence is usually low, but prevalence peaks around menopause, with a steady rise there-after into later life. Although the prevalence of stress and mixed (stress and urge) incontinence is higher than urge incontinence, the latter is more likely to require treatment. In women, moderate and severe bother have a prevalence ranging from about 3% to 17%. Severe incontinence has a low prevalence in young women but rapidly increases at ages 70 through 80.Conclusion: The prevalence is 0.076.

Abstract

Background: Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after one year of unprotected sex which was affected eighty million people all over the world. Male infertility is involved in approximately 40% of the more than 2 million infertile married couples in the United States. Health promotion strategies are therefore recommended to begin with educational interventions to increased knowledge of infertility awareness. University years are a time for self-maturation which includes sexual exploration and pregnancy avoidance during this life-course transition to adulthood. There’s still no data about the awareness and knowledge about male infertility among university student especially medical student in Indonesia.Aim: The study aims to know the level awareness on male infertility among the medical students in Udayana University of batch 2015.Methods: This study was a descriptive cross-sectional design conducted on June 2018. The subjects were 102 medical students from regular and international class of Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The data derived with questionnaires and a preceding informed consent already had been gained from all the participants.Results: Most of the subjects were belong to the somewhat knowledgeable group (41.2%). English class and female students had the better awareness regarding the male infertility issue (36.8% and 46.7%). The highest percentages of correct answered subtheme questions were diagnosis (55%) subtheme.Conclusion: Infertility awareness, including knowledge of male risk factors, is a critical first step towards fertility preservation through lifestyle modification.
