Abstract

Medicinal plants are all plants that can be used as medicine, ranging from those visible to the eye to those visible under a microscope. The medicinal plants referred to in this study are medicinal plants whose parts, whether roots, stems, leaves, flowers or tubers, are used as ingredients for ingredients derived from plants that have been used for generations for treatment based on local knowledge and understanding. Local wisdom is the values of humanity, togetherness, brotherhood, and knowledge which are considered important enough to be preserved, one of which is regarding medicinal plants used by the community. This research is a descriptive explorative research. This research is to reveal information about the types of traditional medicinal plants in Ranggagata Village, Praya Barat Daya District, Central Lombok Regency using the snowball sampling method. The data was collected through observation, interviews with non-medical healers (purchases), and documentation. The results showed that there were 41 types of medicinal plants from 32 families which were successfully identified and used by the people of Ranggagata Village, Praya Barat Daya District, Central Lombok Regency.

Abstract

The objectives of this service activity are: (1) increasing student knowledge about the ins and outs of writing scientific papers and scientific articles , and (2) improving the ability to write scientific articles among students of Biology Education FSTT Undikma Mataram. Community service activities were carried out for 2 days, with 3 stages of activities, namely: (1) Introduction, (2) core activities, and (3) workshops. The partner in this service activity is the Biology Education Study Program of FSTT UNDIKMA Mataram, especially for students who have taken thesis examinations and will compile articles based on their research findings. From the results of the evaluation of the activities, it can be concluded that the purpose of this service activity has been achieved according to expectations, namely increasing student knowledge about the ins and outs of writing scientific papers and scientific articles, the achievement can be seen from the results of student articles that have been presented through the presentation of the results of the preparation of their articles showing that the results are very good and in line with expectations.

Abstract

Oyster mushrooms have high economic potential because they can be processed into a variety of foods and snacks, as well as prospects for development in the community. One of the potentials that can be used by the hut to hone students' life skills is by providing training for the manufacture of oyster mushroom products. The purpose of these community service activities is to be expected later when students graduating from the NW Kayangan Islamic Boarding School can become young entrepreneurs who make them economically independent and can open new jobs for the people in their respective homes. Community service activities focus on training in processing oyster mushrooms into products in the form of nutritious satay and crispy mushrooms that are nutritious and of high economic value, targeting the students and teachers at Pondok NW Kayangan, West Lombok Regency. The activity method includes: (1) preparation phase, (2) counseling, and (3) demonstration and training on making oyster mushroom and crispy mushroom. This activity increases the knowledge and skills of students in processing oyster mushroom raw materials. This is evidenced by the results of processed oyster mushrooms in the form of mushroom satay and krispi mushroom created by teachers and students.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the teacher's knowledge of herbarirum learning media, and in the end the teacher can make a herbarium that can be used in the biology learning process. The main target of this dedication is biology teachers at MTs Dharut Tayyibin Batu Jai. The activity method in the form of training was then followed by making a herbarium from plants and samples brought by students from their homes or their neighborhoods. Based on the results of the evaluation and the responses of the teacher and students, they showed great enthusiasm for the activity and it was proven by the participation of students and teachers until this activity was completed. The teacher as the main target shows that their ability to make herbarium increases, the herbarium made with students can be used as biology learning that supports the learning process. The MTs students who participated in this process were very enthusiastic and active because it was such a fun new thing. It is hoped that in the future this training activity should be carried out not only in making herbariums but in making other creative learning media. The goal is to help students understand biology material and make biology lessons more fun.
