[Title: The Effect of Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving Learning Model Toward Student Physics Science Learning Outcomes]. This study aims to test mechanical on membrane composite membrane based crab shell and poly vinly Acetat (PVA). A mechanical test was performed to test the young modulus of the membrane in maintaining pore size using the "Tensilon" machine. The results show that chitosan / Poly Vinly Acetate composite membrane with preparation of comparison 25% -75%, 50% -50% and 75% -25%. For sample 25% -75% experience drying process faster than other sample. On the mechanical test of chitosan membrane / Poly Vinly Acetat showed the biggest value that is equal to 9.84 Mpa on comparison preparation 50% -50%. 25% -75% and 75% -25% preparations decreased by 4.68 MPa and 1.37Mpa.

Abstract

[Title: Development of Lightweight Brick Based on Traditional Gold Processing Waste with Water Hyacinth Booster]. Research has been carried out on the manufacture of light brick made from gold processing waste with water hyacinth filler. The study was carried out by varying the direction of water hyacinth fiber as filler in light brick making. The direction of the filler is arranged in a horizontal, orthogonal and random direction. In each filler direction, the percentage variation of water hyacinth is arranged with the volume fraction 0%, 15%, 30%, 45%, 60%, from the total volume of the amount of light brick. The test results show that in the horizontal fiber direction the compressive strength is (2.43; 0.25; 0.54; 0.24; 0.50) MPa with a density (1.62; 1.34; 1.58; 1.42; 1.25) gr /cm3. In orthogonal direction the compressive strength was (2.43; 0.26; 0.80; 0.63; 0.77) MPa with density (1.62; 1.42; 1.49; 1.53; 1.42) gr/cm3. While in the random direction the compressive strength was (2.43; 0.73; 0.69; 0.59; 0.65) MPa with a density (1.62; 1.20; 1.41; 1.13; 1, 20) gr/cm3. From these data by comparing with previous studies, the most stable compressive strength and density values are formed in orthogonal directions. While the density value is most formed in random direction. In all directions the compressive strength and stable density were formed in the 60% volume of filler. The test results show that the light brick that is formed into the category is very light (entered in 0.6 - 1.6 gr/cm3 range) and floating in water, with medium compressive compressive strength.

[Title: Making Chitosan From Shrimp Cup As Gold (Au) Adsorben]. This study aims to make chitosan from shrimp shell as golden adsorbent. Stages of chitosan preparation include demineralization stage using 1,5M HCL, deproteination stage using 3.5% NaOH to obtain chitin powder, then followed by chitin deacetylation stage using 60% NaOH to produce an anime that is chitosan. Subsequently, the chitosan obtained was characterized, analyzed functional group with FTIR and determined its adsorption capacity against Au metal ion, Au content in the sample before and after adsorption was measured using AAS. The results showed chitosan characterization as follows: rendeman 45.83%, have powder texture, white colour, odourless, have moisture content 1.55%, perfectly soluble in glacial acetic acid 2% and purple positive with ninhydrin solution showed chitin has turned into chitosan. Based on calculations from the results of the resulting chitosan FTIR data has a degree of deacetylation 71.17%. From the result of analysis by using AAS that chitosan obtained able to adsorb Au metal from concentration 8.55 ppm decrease until 5,09 ppm with adsorption percentage equal to 40.46%.

[Title: Chitosan/PVA Composite Nanofiber Biocompatibility Test as a Wound Wrap]. This study aims to make chitosan-based nanofiber from NTB local crab shells. The manufacture of nonofiber is intended for application in the medical world as wound dressing. Wound dressing was developed from the basic ingredients of chitosan from NTB local crab shells. This research was conducted using the electrospining method, namely by making fibers from nano-sized chitosan. The resulting wound dressing was analyzed using FTIR. The results of this analysis show that chitosan has an area of absorption or transmittance in some chitosan groups so that it shows a positive alloy on chitosan and PVA as antibacterial in wound dressing.

Abstract

[Title: The Mechanical Test of Lightweight Brick Made from Gold Processing Waste with Variations in Coal and Cement Waste]. The purposes of this research are to make lightweight concrete using waste processing of gold with variation fly ash and cement the better than conventional concrete. The value of this research has tested mechanics which comprises density, porosity and strength. The research has done with some stage are: 1) Make lightweight concrete using LPE with variation fly ash and cement. 2) Characterization of the samples which comprise density, porosity and the strength, 3) Analysis of tested mechanical lightweight concrete. The value of lightweight concrete to make with variation composition fly ash and cement in a series are: (0/100), (5/95), (10/90), (15/85), (20/80) who are in volume. To make lightweight concrete with composition foam and water controlled as much as 10 ml and 150 ml at all of the sample. So we get the density value of lightweight concrete without fly ash is 1.61. In lightweight concrete with fly ash, we get the minimum density of lightweight is 1.15. The porosity value of lightweight concrete without fly ash is 13.6%, and the porosity value of lightweight concrete with fly ash is 8.0%. The compressive strength of lightweight concrete without fly ash is 1.629 MPa and the compressive strength of lightweight concrete with fly ash is 1.772 MPa. The value shown to process waste processing of gold with variation fly ash and cement to be lightweight concrete can get mechanical in character of lightweight to be better than conventional concrete.

Abstract

Abstract. In the process of producing light brick, there is ‘mixed foam’ agent to reduce the value of its density, therefore it can reduce the values of compressive strength. To reduce its density and increase the value of pressure, the variations and types of fillers must match the composition. The manufacture of light brick type CLC (Cellular Lightweight Concrete) has been carried out with several variations and types of fillers to compare the values of compressive strength and density. The fillers are as follows: Water Hyacinth, Banana Midrib, and Wood Shavings based on gold processing waste (GPW). The compressive strength and density test results on various filler percentages are as follows: 1). Water hyacinth at the percentage of 0%, 15%, 30%, 45%, 60% has compressive strength: (2.43; 0.73; 0.69; 0.59; 0.65) MPa while the densities are ( 1.62; 1.20; 1.41; 1.13; 1.20) gr / cm3. 2). Banana midrib with variations are: 0-4 midribs has compressive strength: (2.43; 1.25; 1.68; 2.13; 1.32) MPa and its densities are (1.62; 1.29; 1.12; 1.16; 1.25) gr / cm3. 3). Wood shavings with percentage: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% have compressive strength: (2.43; 1.39; 2.04; 1.72) MPa and their densities: (1.62; 1, 21; 1.26; 1.20) gr / cm3. The results showed that the best compressive strength was produced by the filler from wood shavings with an average of 1.85 MPa and a density of 1.31 gr / cm3. The lowest density was obtained from the banana midrib filler which was 1.29 gr / cm3 with a compressive strength of 1.76 MPa. It can be concluded that light brick is best suited to wood shavings fillers.
