Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai konsentrasi Pb terhadap pertumbuhan serta kandungan logam timbal (Pb) di dalam organ akar, batang dan daun bibit Rhizophora stylosa sebagai dasar telaahan potensi mangrove untuk dijadikan bioindikator akumulasi Pb. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen di rumah plastik dengan menumbuhkan bibit mangrove R. stylosa pada berbagai konsentrasi Pb di dalam media tanah. Percobaan dilanjutkan dengan menganalisis kandungan Pb dalam organ bibit R. stylosa dan media tanah. Desain percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas lima perlakuan konsentrasi Pb (0 ppm, 0,1 ppm, 1 ppm, 10 ppm  dan 100 ppm). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik, pemberian berbagai konsentrasi Pb (0,1-100 ppm) tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan bibit R. stylosa selama 6 minggu pengamatan. Tetapi, pemberian perlakuan 100 ppm Cu menyebabkan konsentrasi Pb di dalam organ bibit R. stylosa secara nyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan kontrol dan perlakuan lainnya. Bibit R. stylosa  terindikasi memiliki potensi sebagai bioindikator akumulasi pada tingkat pencemaran Pb yang lebih tinggi dari kandungan Pb di dalam organnya.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah edukasi pemanfaatan limbah cair kelapa dan limbah tahu berbentuk nata dan mengembangkan keterampilan Siswi di MA Annajah Yayasan Pendidikan Al-Halimy. Sasaran kegiatan adalah siswa putri kelas XI MA Annajah Yayasan Pendidikan Al-Halimy sejumlah 17 orang (tinggal di asrama sekolah). Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 1 (satu) bulan meliputi survei lokasi, diskusi penentuan jadwal kegiatan dengan pihak sekolah (mitra), sosialisasi kegiatan kepada calon target binaan, pengenalan produk biologi terapan berbasis mikroorganisme, sosialisasi promosi IKIP Mataram, pelatihan sterilisasi alat dan bahan, pelatihan pembuatan nata (nata de coco dan nata de soya), monitoring hasil produk olahan, dan evaluasi kegiatan (respon kegiatan dan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan). Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan >90% peserta mengikuti kegiatan secara aktif, 94,12% menggap bahwa kegiatan sangat bermanfaat dan 5,88% cukup bermanfaat, 76,47% sangat tertarik untuk merintis usaha dan 23,53% cukup tertatik. Uji organoleptik/kesukaan produk yang dihasilkan menunjukkan tingkat kesukaan responden adalah pada produk nata de coco dibandingkan nata de soya. Hal ini disebabkan bahwa indikator kualitas nata (tekstur, warna, dan rasa) sebanyak 98% lebih menyukai nata de coco.Training on Making Nata De Coco and Nata De Soya for Class XI MA AnnajahAbstractThe aim of this community service is to educate the use of coconut liquid waste and tofu waste in the form of nata and to develop the skills of students at MA Annajah, the Al-Halimy Education Foundation. The target of the activity is 17 female students of class XI MA Annajah Al-Halimy Education Foundation (living in school dormitories). Activities carried out for 1 (one) month include a location survey, discussion on determining the schedule of activities with the school (partner), socialization of activities to target target candidates, introduction to microorganism-based applied biology products, promotion of IKIP Mataram, training on sterilization of tools and materials, training in manufacturing nata (nata de coco and nata de soya), monitoring of processed products, and evaluation of activities (response to activities and quality of products produced). The results of the evaluation of the activities showed that> 90% of the participants participated in the activities actively, 94.12% thought that the activities were very useful and 5.88% were quite useful, 76.47% were very interested in starting a business and 23.53% were quite interested. The organoleptic test / product preference showed that the respondent's preferred level was nata de coco compared to nata de soya. This is because 98% of the indicators of nata quality (texture, color and taste) prefer nata de coco.

Abstract

Sekotong is one of West Lombok subdistricts with considerable potential for marine fishery led to the development of aquaculture businesses. The purpose of this study were; ( 1) to know the quality of aquaculture waters. (2) lo know the phytoplank1:on community structure, and (3) to detennine the relationship between water quality parameters and primary productivity. The methods used field survey for three months, ,iarted from June to August 2011. Sampling was done by purposive sampling that consisted of 3 stations, with 3 substations on each station. Samples were analyzed in situ and in laboratory. Results showed that water quality parameters (temperature, brightness, turbidity, pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen nitrate and fosfut) for all stations were suitable for fish culture with the hlghest suitable value at stasion with rarely mangrove vegetation, eventhough, nitrate and phosphate concentrations were relatively low. The abundance of phytoplankton ranged from 449- 3966 ind/I. Index of diversity on all three stations were classified as medium/moderate. Unifonnity index of phytoplankton was high and there was no species dominance. Primary productivity ranged from 101,875 to 519 mgC/m3/day. The most important factors of water quality for productivity level were phytoplankton abundance, nitrat level and dissolved oxygens level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan kemelimpahan fitoplankton dengan faktor lingkungan di perairan pantai Desa Madayin Kecamatan Sambelia Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret -  Juni 2018. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling sebanyak 6 titik sampling yaitu 3 titik (stasiun 4, 5 dan 6) diambil dari muara outlet pembuangan limbah tambak udang, 1 titik (stasiun 3) diambil dari muara sungai, dan 2 titik (stasiun 1 dan 2). Sampel air yang diambil (50 liter) disaring mengunakan jaring plankton ukuran 25µm. Air hasil saringan dimasukkan ke dalam botol dan diberi formalin 4%. Analisis fitoplankton dilakukan di Laboratorium Biologi Fakultas MIPA Universitas Mataram. Pengukuran terhadap variabel kualitas fisik-kimia air yaitu: suhu, kecerahan, salinitas, pH, DO dilakukan secara in-situ. Sementara pengukuran terhadap kadar nitrat dan fosfat dilakukan di laboratorium dengan menggunakan metode spektrofotometer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai kualitas perairan berupa suhu, salinitas, pH, DO, kecerahan, Nitrat dan Fosfat masih tergolong baik dan mendukung untuk kehidupan aquatik khususnya fitoplankton. Diantara faktor lingkungan tersebut, faktor suhu dan fosfat memiliki korelasi yang tinggi terhadap kemelimpahan fitoplankton dengan nilai r sebesar 0,57. Kata Kunci : Kemelimpahan, Fitoplankton, Lingkungan

Abstract

Needle dragonflies are insects belonging to the Odonata order, sub-order Zygoptera. The purpose of the study was to determine the diversity of needle dragonfly and the type of needle dragonfly. This research was conducted in the Kerandangan Nature Tourism Park, West Lombok Regency in April 2019. This study used an entrapping or meshing method with a purposive sampling technique with sampling based on a consideration in which post 1 is a settlement and post 2 is a dense forest. The results showed that the needle dragonfly diversity index was categorized as being moderate in post 1 amounting to 1,220 and post 2 with a low category of 0,562.

Abstract

Tempeh is popular with Indonesian people, besides its price is relatively cheap and tastes good, tempeh also has high vegetable protein content. The objectives of this study are: 1) to find out the organoleptic comparison of the Hyacinth Bean (Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet) tempeh at various concentrations of yeast; 2) knowing the organoleptic comparison of tempeh Hyacinth Bean (Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet) on various fermentation periods; and 3) implementing research results as material for preparing brochures for the community. This type of research is pure experimental research. Using Random Group Design (RBD). The yeast concentration consisted of 1.5%, 2%, and 2.5% treatments, while the fermentation time was 24 hours, 30 hours and 36 hours. Organoleptic parameters include color, taste, texture, and aroma. Data collection techniques used in this study were carried out by observation, questionnaires, organoleptic test observations, and brochure validation sheets. Data analysis techniques used Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that, variations in yeast concentration and length of fermentation in making tempeh Hyacinth Bean (Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet) significantly influenced the aroma, taste, and texture, while the concentration of yeast and duration of fermentation did not significantly influence the tempe color of Hyacinth Bean (Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet). The results of the brochure assessment qualification analysis show that, the brochure is suitable for use by the public.

Abstract

Mustard Vegetable is an economically valuable vegetable crop, so that community demand for vegetables is increasing. In an effort to meet market needs, mustard production needs to be increased, one of which is by improving the quality of planting media through fertilization. The use of liquid organic fertilizer is faster absorption by plants than solid organic fertilizer. One of the basic ingredients of liquid fertilizer can be using the urine of cattle and horses. This type of research is a pure experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD). The study used 4 treatments 3 replications using liquid organic fertilizer from cow urine and 4 treatments 3 replications using liquid organic fertilizer from horse urine with fertilizer concentrations of 25%, 50% and 100%, with research parameters namely plant height, number of leaves, length leaf, leaf width and wet weight. The technique of data collection is done by observation. The data in this study were analyzed using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) One Way using SPSS 14 for Windows. The results of research on liquid fertilizer from the urine of cattle and horses significantly affect the rate of growth of mustard plants. The mustard plant has a faster growth rate using liquid fertilizer from cow urine compared to horse urine.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Kerwa Nature Park (TWA) Kerandangan is one of the tropical forest area on the island of Lombok and has been designated as a conservation area since June 1, 1992. As a conservation area TWA Kerandangan has a high diversity of insect species. The diversity of these insects can be used as bioindicator of environmental stability in TWA Kerandangan. This study aims to identify soil insects, as well as to know the diversity of insects in the TWA Kerandangan area. This research was conducted at TWA Kerandangan and insect identification was done at Biology Laboratory of FPMIPA IKIP Mataram in June 2016. This research was conducted by using Pitfall trap technique in two different location that is on flat land and bumpy land and at two time different in the morning and evening. Result of research on TWA Kerandangan obtained 5 species of insects namely Empoasca fabae, Camponotus modoc, Myrmecocystus mexicanus, Asemoplus montanus and Gryllus spyang total of 124 individuals. The values of the diversity index (H ') for the Empoasca fabaeyaitu species were 0.038, Camponotus modoc0,161, Myrmecocystus mexicanus0,213, Asemoplus montanus0,066 and Gryllus sp 0.175. The highest diversity index value is found in Myrmecocystus mexicanus species and the lowest diversity index value is found in Empoasca fabae species.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and test the key of determination of bats in high school class X animalia learning. The research was conducted at Labuapi 1 Public High School in July-August 2019. This research was a ADDIE model of Research and Development (R&D) research. The population of this study was class X. The research sample was taken by cluster random sampling technique. Research data includes the key products of bat determination and product trial data including student responses and teacher responses to learning. The results showed that the study succeeded in making the key to the determination of bats that could be used by students in the class on the subject of animalia biology class X. The key to the determination that was successfully made, was further developed in learning animalia biology. After learning takes place, then analyze the responses of students and teachers to learning by using the key of determination. Students' responses to the use of the determination key obtained the highest average value of 3.54 with good criteria and the lowest average value of 2.33 with no good criteria. The teacher's response to the use of the determination key obtained the highest average value of 4.00 with good criteria and the lowest average value of 3.33 with good criteria.

Abstract

This study was aimed to riview the quality of sea water in terms of phytoplankton diversity index as the impact of aquaculture shrimp ponds in Madayin village, Sambelia District of East Lombok. This study was conducted in March to June 2018. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method as 6 sampling points was 3 points (stations 4, 5 and 6) were taken from the outlet of sewage shrimp, 1 point (station 3) were taken from estuary, and 2 points (stations 1 and 2) were taken from the sea. Water samples was taken 50 liters and was filtered using 25μm plankton nets. Filtered water put into bottles samples then was preserved by formalin 4%. Phytoplankton analysis was carried out in Biology Laboratory FPMIPA Faculty of Mataram University. Results showed that the diversity index (H) ranged from 2.055 to 2.257, this value indices were moderate/medium. Equitability index (E) value of ranged from moderate to high where the stations 1 and 3 were moderate (0.5 <E <0.75) while stations 2, 4, 5 and 6 were high (E> 0.75). All stations showed that there were no dominance of phytoplankton species. Based on the results, the condition of Madayin coastal was moderate to good condition, no significant ecological pressure.
