Abstract

Kelompok K diberi makan dan minum standar, kelompok P1 diberi paparan ekstrak cabai rawit dosis 10 mg/kg bb, kelompok P2 diberi paparan ekstrak cabai rawit dosis 20 mg/kg bb, kelompok P3 diberi paparan ekstrak cabai rawit 40 mg/kg bb.

Abstract

ECG is a routine, accessible, inexpensive, and non-invasive tool for diagnosis of CVD and has been commonly described in medical reports as a suitable diagnostic tool for assessing ‘silent’ heart disease. An observational descriptive study, in Gisikdrono Urban Communities, found 72% elderly with hypertension, and higher than the reported national prevalence in 2013 (25.8%). We gained 38% of elderly with abnormal ECG which is: 5% Old myocardial infarction, 3% IMO Anteroseptal, 5% LVH, 8% LAD, 3%) of Inferior Ischemia, 3% dysrhythmia, and 13% bradycardia, without complaint of heart disease before. Aging became one of the factors of declining protection in the heart and increases the risk of destruction of heart failure. Considering examination of other organs that can affect the cause of heart anomalies to the elderly and expected to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining the blood pressure.

Abstract

Introduction: Some studies indicated that antlions (Myrmeleon sp.) is traditionally used by many people in Indonesia as a diabetes treatmenter. However. reseach has not been done to find the effect of antlion extract in pancreas, an important organ in diabetes mellitus pathophysiology. Objective: To prove the effect of antlion extract towards histopathological feature of pancreas in diabetic mice. Methods: In the post test only control group design, 25 Swiss mice were divided into five groups. Normal group (Nor-G), Negative control group (Neg-G), and the other 3 groups were intraperitoneally injected with Streptozotocine 200 mg/kg to induce diabetic state. In Neg-G had no antlion treatment, whereas in At-14, At-28, and At-56 were treated with antlion extract at the dose of 14, 28, and 56 mg/kg BW respectively for 24 days. Pancreas then collected and prepared to be examined under microscope with 400x magnification. The score of pancreatic islet injury was determined by assessing structural damage and inflammatory cells infiltration. Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney were adopted as statistical analysis. Results: Mann-Whitney analysis indicated that the score of pancreatic islets injury in At-56 was significant lower compared to that of Neg-G, p<0.05. The score of pancreatic islets injury in At-56 also significant lower compared to that of At-14 and At-28, p<0.05. In contrary, when compared to that of Nor-G, the pancreatic islets injury in At-56 was not signicantly lower, p>0.05.Conclusion: Antlion extract treatment at the dose of 56 mg/kg BW was capable of reducing pancreatic islet injury in diabetic mice induced by streptozotocine.

Abstract

Background: Moringa leaf extract is proven to have high antioxidant bioactive compounds and acts as an anti-inflammatory and prevents cell damage due to exposure to free radicals or oxidative. In the respiratory system exposed to Electronic Delivery Nicotine System liquid vapor, an inflammatory response and oxidative stress occur. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of Moringa leaf extract (Moringa oleifera) on the microscopic structure of the lungs of male Wistar rats given inhalation of e-cigarette liquid vapor. Methods: This research is an experimental laboratory with Post Test Only Control Group Design. Rats were divided into 4 groups containing 6 rats in each group, determined based on simple random sampling with the following divisions: Aquadest 3 mL (K1), gave inhalation of liquid vapours of electric cigarettes (K2), gave inhalation of liquid vapours of electric cigarettes + Moringa leaf extract with the dekoxy method dose of 500 mg/kgBW (P1), administration of vapor inhalation of e-cigarette liquid + Moringa leaf extract with the dekoxy method at a dose of 500 mg/kgBW (P2). Termination of the experimental animals was carried out on the 15th day and the rat pulmonary organs were taken to assess the microscopic structure of the rat lung. Results: The results of the Kruskal-Wallis test and continued with the Mann-Whitney test showed a significant difference (p < 0.05), however, there was no significant difference in the degree of pulmonary damage in the P1 to P2 groups. Conclusion: There is an effect of Moringa leaf extract (Moringa oleifera) on the microscopic structure of the lungs of male Wistar rats given inhalation of liquid vapor of electric cigarettes.

Abstract

Background: After the covid 19 pandemic subsided, the world was faced with a global recession. The property industry experiences a downturn, especially in countries that are severely affected by the recession. However, the property business, in particular, apartments must continue to run and require a strategy to overcome this. Aim: The purpose of this study was to develop a strategy to increase perceived value using three methods of IPA, SWOT, and AHP. Method: The quantitative method uses 130 customer respondents. 30 for the reliability validity test and 100 for the main test on perceived value variables (functional, social, and emotional). Findings: The results of the IPA in quadrant A form the basis for making IFE and EFE strategies. IFE and EFE strategies are weighted to determine IFE and EFE matrices. Furthermore, a SWOT  matrix was carried out to formulate concrete strategies based on SO, WO, ST, and WT. Strategies will be ranked using AHP. The strategy includes renovating the roof and repainting the facade of the building, using higher quality and durable building materials, holding service training for tenant relations and optimizing cleaning team SOPs, making agreements with buyers regarding rules for repairing damage/leaks, promoting green and clean movements for owners or occupants, expanding the customer segment market, contacting unit owners to be managed by rental management developers, opening multiple payment platforms with marketplaces, continuing to do marketing to target customers, cooperating with sales agents and other external parties, and rescheduling those with payment difficulties.
