Abstract

The increasing trend of a healthy lifestyle among urban communities has driven innovation in urban agriculture, one of which is aquaponics technology. Aquaponics is a sustainable farming system that integrates fish farming and plant cultivation within a single ecosystem, making it an effective solution for utilizing home yards. The Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi, as a higher education institution, has a responsibility to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, one of which is Community Service (PPM). This PPM activity aims to provide outreach and training on aquaponics to support the Diversified, Nutritious, Balanced, and Safe (B2SA) program at the Al-Hasan Mekarsari Foundation in Bogor. The program primarily involved female participants aged 21–30 years. The methods employed included education sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice in the installation and maintenance of aquaponic systems. The evaluation results indicated that participants comprehended the aquaponics concept and were capable of independently applying it at home. Furthermore, the program was perceived as beneficial in enhancing the availability of healthy food based on the B2SA principles within households. Through this initiative, the community is expected to adopt aquaponics technology as a practical solution for strengthening household food security and raising awareness of the importance of a healthy diet. Future sustainability of the program is anticipated to be expanded through further collaborations with various stakeholders to promote broader adoption of aquaponics in urban areas.

Abstract

The Mesa Jaya tofu business is one of the tofu producers in Bantar Gebang District, Bekasi City. This research aims to identify internal factors (strengths and weaknesses), and identify external factors (opportunities and threats) and formulate alternative business development strategies. The method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach, data analysis consists of qualitative and quantitative methods, for qualitative analysis using descriptive and observational methods to describe the process of business activities and determine alternative development strategies, while for quantitative analysis using tools in the form of IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix and SWOT Matrix and QSPM Matrix. The results of this Mesa Jaya tofu business research are in cell 1 automatically entered into quadrant 1 (grow and build strategy). This position will find a development strategy that can be implemented by the company, the strategy that should be implemented by the Mesa Jaya tofu business is grow and build or a strategy of growing and building. This strategy is in line with the SO strategy, which is to expand marketing reach inside and outside Bantar Gebang District, the WO strategy increases innovation by utilizing a large number of tofu enthusiasts, and the WT strategy improves business management so that it can compete well.

Abstract

Rubber plantations in Indonesia is largely managed by the Government and most private rubber plantations owned by the people even though on a small scale but the number of people large enough rubber estates. The farmers ' efforts to improve the results of its production is still very far from expected, this of course requires cooperation between farmers and agricultural extension officers as stakeholders in regards to the transfer of various information. This research aims to know the role of agricultural extension officers in farmer group, to know the performance of the farming, and analyze the role of agricultural extension officers with performance rubber plantation farming in the country big, Way Kanan Regency. The results showed the role of farmer dikelompok extension officers have not been fullest but already entered in the category quite nicely. Application of technology of rubber cultivation had already entered in that category either because farmers in its application in accordance with the recommended by the Plantation Counties the Way Kanan. The role of agricultural extension officers relations with performance rubber plantation farming is very low and not significant impact on rubber farmers in the land of big, Way Kanan Regency.

Abstract

Mekarwangi Jaya Farmers Group is a coffee farmer group in Sukawangi Village, Bogor Regency which markets local specialty Bogor coffee in the form of dry beans and ready-to-brew coffee powder, but faces obstacles in marketing these coffee products. The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of the 4P marketing mix for Gunung Arca Coffee, determine consumer assessments of the marketing of Gunung Arca Coffee and determine the priority marketing mix strategy for Gunung Arca Coffee in the Mekarwangi Jaya Farmer Group. This research uses primary and secondary data sources. Descriptive methods were used and Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used in this research to answer the research objectives. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the Mekarwangi Jaya Farmers Group has implemented the 4P marketing mix, namely product, price, promotion and distribution. Consumers feel that the quality of Gunung Arca Coffee is guaranteed, the price of Gunung Arca Coffee is affordable, media locations or promotional activities carried out by the Mekarwangi Jaya Farmers Group are easy to find, and the sales location for Gunung Arca Coffee is not strategic. The main priority marketing objective is to improve the business image with the first ranking marketing mix, namely product.

Abstract

JS Hidroponik is a Farmer Group which operates in the field of hydroponic vegetable production located in Jakasampurna Urban Village, West Bekasi Sub-District, Bekasi City. This research aims to determine: (1) internal and external environmental factors that influence the development strategy at JS Hydroponics and (2) look for alternatives and determine priorities for development strategies that are in accordance with JS Hydroponics. Data analysis consists of descriptive methods, while quantitative analysis uses tools, namely the IFE, EFE, IE, SWOT and QSPM matrices. The main strength is quality products and production standards. The main weakness is having limited land and limited capital. The main opportunity is increasing public awareness of healthy living and having business partners. The main threats are pests and diseases, weather changes and nearby competitors. An alternative strategy based on the IE matrix is that JS Hydroponics is in cell I, which means the business is still at the growth and build stage, in line with the QSPM results, namely a strategy to expand marketing.
