Abstract

Tanaman resam (latinnya dicranopteris linearis) merupakan pakis hutan yang hidup di perkebunan karet dan tumbuh hampir diseluruh provinsi di Indonesia. Tumbuhan ini menjalar dan memiliki panjang kurang lebih 7 meter. Penelitian terhadap pemanfaatan serat resam sebagai bahan komposit sudah dilakukan oleh penulis sampai akhir tahun 2014. Dalam penelitian yang sudah dilakukan oleh peneliti lain menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan serat alam sebagai bahan komposit dapat ditingkatkan dengan NaOH. Hal ini sangatlah berguna sekali untuk meningkatkan kualitas penelitian serat resam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapat bahan komposit baru, hasil dari perlakuan kimia dengan larutan NaOH terhadap serat resam. Tahapan proses penelitian ini yaitu pembuatan sampel uji, pengujian mekanik dan analisis data. Bahan-bahan untuk pembuatan sampel diantaranya adalah serat, resin Yukalac 157 BQTN-EX, MEKPO sebagai hardener, 5% NaOH dan wax glasses sebagai pencegah menempelnya resin ke cetakan. Benda uji dibuat dengan cara mencampurkan secara acak serat ke resin. Sebelumnya serat sudah dibuat tiga ukuran panjang yaitu: 20 mm, 40 mm, dan 60 mm. Kemudian serat ditimbang sesuai  prosentase yang diinginkan. Prosentase serat  adalah 25%, 30%,  dan 35%  dan prosentase curing agent adalah 1,5%. Ukuran benda uji dibuat berdasarkan standar uji tarik (ASTM D 638),  uji flexure (ASTM D 790) dan uji impact (ISO-179). Nilai paling tinggi uji tarik 30,750 MPa, modulus elastisitasnya 9400 MPa dan regangannya 0,315%. Nilai maksimum tegangan flexure 138 MPa dan modulus lentur 4880 MPa. Sedangkan nilai paling tinggi uji impact adalah 54,14 kJ/m2. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah hasil uji tarik, uji flexure dan uji impact sudah memenuhi standar plastic yang digunakan  dashboard mobil.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian terhadap pemanfaatan serat rekel (serat resam dan serat kelapa) sebagai bahan komposit sudah dilakukan oleh penulis sejak tahun 2013 sampai akhir tahun 2015. Pada penelitian tahun 2015, penulis sudah melakukan pengujian terhadap perlakuan kimia dengan larutan NaOH terhadap serat resam. Hasilnya menunjukkan komposit sudah memenuhi standar dashboard mobil. Oleh karena itu, penelitian yang dilakukan ini untuk melihat pengaruh serat rekel terhadap perlakuan kimia NaOH. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapat bahan komposit baru, hasil dari perlakuan kimia dengan larutan NaOH terhadap serat rekel. Tahapan proses penelitian yaitu pembuatan sampel uji, pengujian mekanik dan analisis data. Bahan-bahan untuk pembuatan sampel diantaranya adalah serat rekel, resin Yukalac 157 BQTN-EX, MEKPO sebagai hardener, 5% NaOH dan wax glasses sebagai pencegah menempelnya resin ke cetakan. Ukuran benda uji dibuat berdasarkan standar uji tarik (ASTM D 638), uji flexure (ASTM D 790) dan uji impact (ISO-179). Nilai paling tinggi uji tarik 24,4 MPa, modulus elastisitasnya 6686 MPa dan regangannya 0,38%. Nilai maksimum tegangan flexure 94,85 MPa dan modulus lentur 4141,5 MPa. Sedangkan nilai paling tinggi uji impact adalah 55,81 kJ/m2. Abstract

The increasing demand for construction materials, particularly sand, continues to rise in line with the rapid development of infrastructure. Manual sand sieving is still widely used, especially in rural areas, but it has proven to be inefficient due to its labor-intensive nature, time consumption, and limited capacity. Therefore, this final project focuses on designing and building an automatic rotary sand sieving machine with a capacity of 130 kg/hour. The machine is powered by a 5 HP gasoline engine and utilizes a belt and pulley transmission system, combined with a sand mesh size of 6 (2.83 mm). The design process adopts the Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of problem identification, data collection, design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and user validation. Based on testing results, the machine is capable of producing consistently fine sand suitable for wall plastering in construction. One of the key advantages of this machine lies in its ease of maintenance, especially in replacing the sand mesh, allowing users to adapt the sieve size according to specific requirements. Furthermore, technical calculations such as torque estimation, motor power, angular velocity, and system efficiency have been comprehensively conducted to ensure optimal performance. The implementation of this machine is expected to significantly improve work productivity, reduce reliance on manual labor, and enhance time and cost efficiency in the sand sieving process at construction sites.

Abstract

This study aims to design a conceptual model of a grass chopper machine to assist in the preparation of livestock feed. The design process was carried out systematically through several stages, including need identification, functional analysis using the Black Box method, development of alternatives via a morphological chart, and evaluation of concepts using a weighted Likert scale. The analysis produced three conceptual design variants (AVK1, AVK2, and AVK3), which were evaluated based on six criteria: functional achievement, manufacturing time, safety, durability, ease of assembly, and maintenance. Based on the evaluation results, AVK3 was selected as the best concept with the highest total score of 4.45. The outcome of this conceptual design is expected to serve as a reference for the future development of an efficient and ergonomic grass chopper machine suitable for small to medium-scale farmers.

Abstract

Gas amonia adalah gas yang ada pada kandang dan berbahaya bagi ayam jenis apapun. Tidak semua peternak dapat mengontrol dan mengetahui apabila terjadi kenaikan kadar gas amonia. Peternak sekala besar atau rumahan hanya menggunakan indar penciuman dan indra penglihatan untuk melihat kadar amonia di sekitar kandang. Jika kadar amonia tinggi maka bau yang dihasilkan terasa pekat dan mata pedih disaat lama lama terpapar amonia. . Maka dari itu penciptaan alat ini adalah menciptakan suatu peranti yang mampu menyaring amonia pada tingkat yang ada di lingkungan peternakan sehingga udara yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih bersih dan risiko penyakit pada hewan ternak yang disebabkan oleh gas amonia dapat berkurang. Selain itu, juga bertujuan untuk menciptakan kondisi lingkungan yang nyaman bagi ayam dengan rentang suhu berkisar antara 22 hingga 29 ºC dan kelembaban yang ideal untuk kandang ayam 0- 3 minggu di peternakan close house berkisar antara 50% hingga 70%. Kelembaban yang tepat akan mencegah masalah kesehatan seperti dehidrasi dan stres termal. Maka dari itu, dirancang suatu peralatan instrumentasi berupa purwarupa alat yang bisa membaca kadar gas amonia pada kandang ayam dengan sensor MQ-135 serta menampilkannya dalam LCD dan aplikasi blynk yang berguna untuk mengeluarkan gas amonia tersebut menggunakan kipas 12 DC secara otomatis sesuai dengan kadar gas berbasis Mikrokontroler ESP32. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian pada gambar 4.5 berdasarkan grafik respon suhu kontrol PID terhadap sampel data, nilai kp ki dan kd dari perhitungan mengalami perbedaan dengan hasil pengujian. Namun nilai perhitungan tersebut sebagai acuan dalam menentukan nilai kp ki dan kd. nilai setpoint sebesar 350 ppm dengan nilai Kp = 4, Ki = 1,8 Kd = 0.5 gas amoniak yang telah diberikan kontrol PID berusaha mempertahankan agar tidak melebihi setpoint yang telah diatur yaitu 350 ppm Dengan nilai Kp,Ki, dan Kd diatas gas amoniak dapat dikontrol dengan baik agar tidak melebihi set poin yang telah ditentukan.

Abstract

Teachers' ability in pedagogical competence must be improved. Teachers must always innovate in designing the learning process where learning is the main activity in the education process. Teachers are still found to use learning that is focused not on students. A big challenge for educators, especially elementary school teachers, is to be able to provide interesting and easily understood material for students. Through these challenges, every educator is required to be more creative in delivering material and attracting the attention of students. Observing the conditions that occur at SDN Tlogowaru 1, this activity aims to provide Digital Learning Transformation Training to Improve Teachers' Pedagogical Skills at SDN Tlogowaru 01 Malang. The training participants were 22 teachers with the Participatory Action Research (PAR) Method. The results of Community Service (PPM) activities increased teachers' knowledge and skills in creating interactive teaching materials through flipbook and scratch applications. Teachers are expected to be able to implement them into their learning in their respective classes. PPM participants gave a positive response of satisfaction of 16.36% Strongly agree, 82.73% Agree

Abstract

This conceptual article explores the role of metaphor in navigating and bridging the diverse realms from an interdisciplinary context. Metaphor, as both a linguistic device and a cognitive mechanism, is a powerful tool for transcending disciplinary boundaries, facilitating the exchange of ideas, and fostering innovation in language. This article built the concepts underlying mechanisms through which metaphor enables the synthesis of knowledge from Linguistics, Literature, History, Archeology, and Culture. Furthermore, the article examines the implications of metaphor use in interdisciplinary contexts, including its potential to enhance collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. This article contributes to a deeper understanding of knowledge integration and synthesis dynamics in today’s increasingly interconnected academic investigations. In linguistics, metaphor is a powerful tool for understanding abstract notions through verbal expression. Metaphor in literature enhances narrative and symbolism by adding layers of meaning and emotion to writings. In history, metaphor is a tool through which people perceive events and narratives, affecting historical discourse and collective memory. In archaeology, metaphor assists the interpretation of material culture and reconstructs the former cultures and their symbolic systems. Metaphors are essential in cultural communication because they shape cultural narratives, identity formation, and social understanding.

Abstract

The purpose to be achieved in this research is to examine and review the reading comprehension ability before using the Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite and Review (PQ4R) model of Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Bantaeng, reading comprehension ability after using the Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite and Review (PQ4R) model of Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Bantaeng and prove the use of the Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite and Review (PQ4R) model on the reading comprehension ability of Class VIII students.This type of research is quantitative pre-experiment because the data obtained in the form of numbers from the results of student work. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by means of observation, test and documentation techniques. The data collection technique of the PQ4R model in this study was carried out by giving multiple choice tests before and after treatment using the PQ4R model. The analysis technique that has been collected in the form of test results, then analyzed to determine the ability of students in reading comprehension before and after using the PQ4R model. Based on the results of research on the effect of using the PQ4R model on reading comprehension skills, it can be concluded that the PQ4R model has a significant effect on the reading comprehension skills of students VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bantaeng. This can be seen in the results of the initial test and the final test of students' reading comprehension skills. Based on the test results obtained before using the PQ4R model students still look less, showing the maximum value is 80 already included in the category of completion. However, the minimum score is still not complete, which is 35. The average acquisition of all student scores is 55. For the test results there are 21 students who are still in the very low category, 3 students who are still in the low category, and there are only 3 students who are complete. Based on the test results obtained after using the PQ4R model, the maximum score of 90 is included in the complete category. The average acquisition of the overall student score decreased from the average test result of 80. The application of the PQ4R model has at least had an influence on student scores which in the initial test only 3 students were complete, while the final test can make all students complete in answering questions according to the material provided, in this case there are still students who are still in the range of values in the low value category. Based on the results of the inferential statistical analysis, the mann-whitney analysis on Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) analysis results in a significant value of 0.000 less than the significant value of 0.05. Based on the results of inferential statistics on the mann-whitney test, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely there is a significant effect of the PQ4R model on the learning outcomes of reading comprehension of Class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bantaeng.

Abstract

Stunting remains a critical public health issue in Gunung Mas, Central Kalimantan. This article aims to analyze the implementation of integrated legal policies in addressing stunting in Kurun Subdistrict using a juridical-empirical approach. The study highlights that despite various intervention programs such as community health posts (Posyandu), nutrition counseling, and the involvement of women’s groups (PKK), there is no local regulation that specifically governs stunting reduction. Research findings indicate that weak intersectoral coordination, limited access to health services, and low nutrition literacy are major obstacles. Conversely, the engagement of traditional leaders and local innovations like Jaga Huma Lewu hold great potential if formally integrated into policy. This study contributes to strengthening the legal perspective within child health policies and emphasizes the urgency of participatory and socially just local legislation. Thus, an adaptive and responsive legal approach is crucial for realizing children's rights protection and ensuring the sustainability of stunting reduction programs in underdeveloped regions.
