Abstract

Oyster mushrooms easily to cultivated so this activities become to choice of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to conduct cultivation. Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is a nutritious food ingredients with high protein, rich in vitamins and minerals, low in carbohydrates, fat and calories. Oyster mushroom products can not only be consumed in the form of cooked vagetables, but can be processes into a form processed foods like crispy mushrooms, mushroom chips, nuggets mushroom, mushroom dumplings, and other processed foods. Farmer groups "Agro Mandiri Graha" develop the cultivation of oyster mushroom by processing into food products. With the ibM program the persons from Unimus team partnered with farmer groups "Agro Mandiri Graha" to enhance the ability of members of the group in the development of agribusiness and the strengthening of farmer group became strong farmers organizations and independent. The result obtained from ibM are : improved the skills of farmers cultivate oyster mushrooms in oyster mushroom into food products like : mushroom chips, nuggets mushroom, mushroom dumplings, meatballs mushrooms, mushroom satay and crispy mushrooms and improve financial management and marketing of productsKeyword : oyster mushrooma, processed foods, agribusiness development

Abstract

This work is focused on an investigation of tensile behavior of natural zeolite-high density polyethylene (HDPE) annealed composites. Annealing process of injection molded  composite was performed at 90oC for 12 h. Uniaxial tensile test was conducted at constant cross head speed of 4 mm/minat room temperature (25oC). Results showed that elongation at break, ductility ratioandyield stressdecreasedwith increasingconcentration of zeolite in host matrix. While, tensile strength and Young'smodulusincreasedwith the increasing zeolite content up to 5 wt.%, and they decreased in further additions. This is due to the mechanism of stress transfer from the matrix to the particles occurs efficiently in zeolite content of 5 wt.%. Keywords:tensile strength, zeolite, HDPE, mechanical properties

Abstract

Mesin bubut kayu merupakan sebuah mesin yang cukup sederhana. Bagian -bagiannya yang paling utama adalah kepala tetap,  kepala lepas, penahan  -  penahan dan unit tenaga penggerak. Dalam melakukan pembubutan diperlukan senter yang dipasangkan pada kepala lepas yang berguna untuk menyangga benda kerja yang panjang pada waktu pembubutan berlangsung. Analisa gaya dan kekuatan bahan dalam perencanaan mesin bubut kayu ini adalah bersifat pemeriksaan kekuatan dari bahan  -  bahan yang dipilih, dengan kajian kekuatan terhadap patah statis.yang terdiri dari  analisa  kekuatan Bed,  analisa  kekuatan pendukung motor,  analisa  kekuatan penumpu  dudukan motor belakang dan penumpu dudukan motor depan. Hasil dari analisa  kekuatan menunjukkan bahwa tegangan yang terjadi masih dibawah tegangan ijin sehinggamesin bubut kayu  aman untuk dipakai. Abstract

The availability of breadfruit is abundant in the village of Meteseh in RW. X Tembalang District, Semarang City. BAROKAH farmers group develops breadfruit chip business. This group of farmers utilizes the abundantly available breadfruit fruit in the Meteseh area to make breadfruit chips. BAROKAH has problems in terms of limited equipment to support product manufacturing, and limited knowledge and skills in the processing and diversification of breadfruit preparations. The purpose of this activity is to develop a business through diversification of BAROKAH breadfruit processed products so that this business and all the people involved are able to become economically independent communities. It also improved product quality, creative and innovative skills, skills in using appropriate technology in the cutting, draining, and packaging of breadfruit processed products. The method used is to improve product quality, creative and innovative skills through the use of appropriate technology in the cutting, draining, and packaging of processed breadfruit products. In addition, diversification of breadfruit processed products was also developed. The results show that the application of appropriate technology has been able to increase the capacity of chopping, and the durability of processed products from breadfruit. In addition, the quality of processed breadfruit products has increased.

Abstract

Usaha pengolahan ikan asin menjadi sangat penting bagi penduduk yang tinggal di daerah pinggir laut dan daerahnya menjadi kurban rob. Tambak yang sudah menyatu dengan laut akibat rob, menyebabkan pendapatan masyarakat menurun drastis. Hasil-hasil melaut dan tambak tidak dijual dalam keadaan mentah, namun ikan dan udang bisa diolah menjadi produk lain yang lebih menarik. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah kesulitan pengeringan ikan jika hujan, tingginya kadar minyak goring sehingga olahan makanan cepat tengik, dan makanan olahan cepat melempem. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan usaha pengolahan ikan asin di desa kurban rob sehingga menjadi mandiri secara ekonomi. Tujuan ini diraih melalui melalui peningkatan peralatan penunjang dan ketrampilan usaha. Alat pengering, peniris minyak, serta pengemas makanan diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan alat pengering, pengeringan tidak lagi tergantung panas matahari. Kapasitas pengeringan meningkat 700% dari keadaan awal 1 kg/jam. Daya tahan gimbal meningkat menjadi 15 hari dari keadaan awal 4 hari. Begitu pula dengan daya tahan gimbal yang meningkat dari semula 7 hari menjadi 30 hari.Kata kunci: Ikan asin, pengeringan, penirisan, kemasan.AbstractSalted fish processing business is very important for residents who live in coastal areas and the area becomes a victim of rob. Ponds that have been fused with the sea due to rob, causing people's income to drop dramatically. The results of fishing and ponds are not sold in raw conditions, but fish and shrimp can be processed into other products that are more attractive. The problem faced was the difficulty of drying fish if it rained, high levels of fried oil so that processed foods quickly rancid, and processed foods quickly sluggish. This activity aims to increase the salted fish processing business in the village of sacrifice rob so that it becomes economically independent. This goal is achieved through increasing the supporting equipment and business skills. Dryer, oil slicer, and food packaging are applied in this activity. The results show that by using a dryer, drying is no longer dependent on the sun's heat. Drying capacity increases by 700% from the initial state of 1 kg/hour. Dread resistance increases to 15 days from the initial 4 days. Similarly, dreadlocks endurance increased from 7 days to 30 days

Abstract

Train passenger forecasting assists in planning, resource use, and system management. forecasts rail ridership. Train passenger predictions help prevent stranded passengers and empty seats. Simulating rail transport requires a low-error model. We developed a fuzzy time series forecasting model. Using historical data was the goal. This concept predicts future railway passengers using Holt's double exponential smoothing (DES) and a fuzzy time series technique based on a rate-of-change algorithm. Holt's DES predicts the next period using a fuzzy time series and the rate of change. This method improves prediction accuracy by using event discretization. positive, since changing dynamics reveal trends and seasonality. It uses event discretization and machine-learning-optimized frequency partitioning. The suggested method is compared to existing train passenger forecasting methods. This study has a low average forecasting error and a mean squared error.

Abstract

Desa Sumogawe, Kecamatan Getasan, Kabupaten Semarang, mayoritas penduduknya adalah peternak susu sapi yang menghasilkan limbah kotoran sapi melimpah. Banyaknya kotoran sapi yang dihasilkan sampai saat ini belum mampu dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh masyarakat sebagai produk yang bermanfaat. Pemanfaatan kotoran sapi salah satunya dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan pupuk organik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat desa Sumogawe dengan memberikan informasi dan praktik cara pembuatan pupuk organik dengan fermentasi menggunakan bakteri Effective Microorganisms 4 (EM4). Metode yang dilakukan meliputi sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik dari limbah kotoran sapi yang dicampur dengan air cucian beras dan bakteri EM4. Setelah dilakukan sosialisasi masyarakat menyadari pentingnya pengolahan limbah sapi dan cara pengolahan menjadi pupuk dengan fermentasi bakteri EM4. Kegiatan pelatihan dengan praktik langsung telah berhasil membuat produk pupuk berbahan kotoran sapi yang dikemas dengan baik. Abstract

Sampah merupakan problem yang belum terpecahkan di kota-kota besar termasuk kota Semarang. Penanggulangan untuk mencegah timbunan sampah dan melakukan pengolahan sampah secara tepat perlu dilakukan. Salah satu cara untuk menangani sampah khususnya sampah organik adalah menerapkan teknologi, dengan mengolah sampah menjadi kompos. Dengan bantuan mesin pengolah sampah, pembuatan sampah organik menjadi kompos dapat dilakukan dalam jumlah yang besar yang tidak saja bermanfaat bagi tanaman tetapi juga dapat dijual untuk menambah ekonomi masyarakat. Metode dalam kegiatan Ipteks bagi Masyarakat ini adalah penerapan alat pencacah sampah untuk membantu dalam mencacah sampah organik di pasar Pedurungan dalam kaitannya dengan pengelolaan sampah organik pasar menjadi kompos. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan adalah terlaksananya kegiatan pendidikan dan pelatihan kepada pengepul sampah untuk memilah sampah organik dan non organik, juga tentang cara membuat kompos, serta manajemen usaha. Alat pencacah sampah digunakan untuk mencacah sampah dalam skala besar. Hasil lainnya adalah telah diproduksinya kompos dan sudah di packing dalam kemasan yang menarik serta telah dipasarkan di sekitar wilayah pasar termasuk di perumahan sekitar wilayah Pedurungan. Terbentuk pula tim manajemen usaha yang terdiri dari unsur UPTD Pasar Pedurungan Kota Semarang dan pengepul sampah.
