Abstract

Indonesia is known as an agricultural country, which means Indonesia has high rate of agricultural production. However, Indonesia has not fully fulfilled its own food needs, seeing by the high number of food imports to Indonesia. Therefore, the government's agricultural development program is established which includes the development of science and technology (IPTEK) in agriculture. The application of Ecological Architecture theory is considered appropriate because it involves all related elements in the design of human, building and nature. This research is aimed to determine the design of research centre building which is able to facilitate the research activities in accordance with the standard of research space based on the principle of Ecological Architecture theory. The method used is data collection based on literature study, observation and comparation to the design object and application of Ecological Architecture theory, which is then applied as design strategies on the design object, starting from site selection, site analysis, as well as façade analysis. From the analysis that has been done then generated a research centre design that can support the sustainability of agricultural research activities based on the application of Ecological Architecture theory.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of different doses of PGPR formula from bamboo roots on the growth of tomato. Research using experimental methods in the screen house the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and its lay out according to randomized complete design with five treatments namely doses 0; 2.5; 5; 7.5, 10 and 12.5 ml of PGPR and each treatment was repeated 4 times. Indicators measured were plant height, leaf number, root number and length. The results showed that plant height and root length increased with increasing dose while the number of leaves and roots showed the highest yield at a dosage of 7.5 ml.

Abstract

The research aims to obtain isolates from rhizosphere biocontrol agents that can inhibit the development coconut pathogen P. palmivora causes nutfall disease. The experiment was conducted in the laboratory Phytophatology Manado Palm Research Institute, isolation method with biocontrol agents and test the ability of antagonistic biocontrol agent against pathogenic isolates of P. palmivora in vitro. Obtained 30 isolates candidate biocontrol agent consisting of 17 isolates of bacteria and 13 fungal isolates. Of the 30 isolates were obtained six isolates were able to suppress the growth of pathogenic P. palmivora with a percentage of the inhibition of BHP2 80.89%, 41.27% BH2P4, TBL1P3 22%, BKN2P1 47.71%, 64.25% and isolates TBL2P3 TontaP3 of 72.66%.

Abstract

This research is to observe the problem that happen in Medium Voltage Air Duct or known as Saluran Udara Tegangan Menengah (SUTM) 20 KV feeder Senggiring 3 in PT. PLN (Persero) Area Pontianak. Feeder Senggiring 3 is a feeder that often to have many disturbances occur and also die out. The length of the feeder Senggiring 3 sistem as far as 145,3 Km in Kabupaten Mempawah and 398,5 Km in Kabupatan Ngabang. In totally the length of feeder Senggiring 3 sistem is 443,8 Km. Total of distribution substation in feeder Senggiring 3 is 220 substation. Feeder Senggiring 3 use HIC (High Insulation Conductor) type for the section and AAAC (All Aluminium Alloy Conductor) with 70 mm2   and 150 mm2   for the diameter. The disturbances that often happen in feeder Senggiring 3 is fases short connection and 1 ground fase. The persentation the cause of the disturbances in feeder Senggiring 3 are 51% because of tree, 26% because of weather/nature factor, 12% because of the animal, 10%because of kite, and 1% because of the construction. The calculation method that used is calculated Impedansi and flow short disturbances connection. After doing some analysis, there is some ways to resolve the disturbances in feeder Senggiring 3, among others are sistem maintenance with cutting down the tree that stick to the sistem with a safe distance, cleaning all along the feeder Senggiring 3 sistem from the wire kite and kite framework, changes the protection tools that not working as usual and doing the socialisation to the community about the dangerous of electricity also the impact of the die out because of that disturbances factor. The result from the repairing from June 2016 until July 2017 is decreasing the  persentation as much as 80,7%. So in conclusion, that the act that have to do to prevent the disturbances to be happen in feeder Senggiring 3 is to change the tools that already not working as usual anymore, like protection tools, nd have routine maintenance in feeder Senggiring 3.  Keyword : Disturbances Of Feeder, Maintenance The Sistem, Continuity Of Electric

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam tentang Konsep “Long life Education” dan menganalisa kualitas hadits mahsyur tentang hal tersebut yang selama ini menjadi sumber dalam pendidikan Islam. Long Life Education, sebuah istilah yang mempunyai makna “Pendidikan Sepanjang Hidup” atau pendidikan seumur hidup. Istilah ini sejalan dengan adegium masyhur yang sering dikemukakan ahli hikmah yakni “Uthlubul ‘ilma minal Mahdi ilal lahdi” yang artinya “Tuntutlah ilmu mulai dari ayunan hingga ke liang lahat”. Apabila  ungkapan itu dimaknai secara literal maka akan didapat suatu pemahaman bahwa pendidikan manusia hanya terbatas dari mulai seseorang dilahirkan hingga kematiannya. Ini jelas kurang tepat, untuk itu harus dimaknai secara kontekstual bahwa pengertian ayunan harus dimaknai sebelum dilahirkan, tepatnya sejak masih dalam kandungan. Pemaknaan demikian tentu lebih sesuai dengan yang dikehendaki Islam. Sampai saat  ini banyak  hadits sangat mahsyur terkait motivasi pendidikan sepanjang hayat yang dijadikan rujukan dalam pendidikan Islam. Meskipun hadits tersebut sangat mashyur di dunia pendidikan Islam, alangkah lebih baik jika kita menganalisa tentang kualitas hadits tersebut.

Abstract

The ethanolic extract of soursop leaves (Annona muricata L.) is reported as an antioxidant agent with an IC50 value of 14.48 µg/mL. This research aimed to examine physical characteristics and investigate the antioxidant activity of the ethanolic extract of soursop leaves in a scrub cream. Soursop leaves powder was extracted with 70% ethanol and formulated as scrub cream at the concentration of 1.4%, 2.8%, and 4.2%, then evaluated for physical characteristics. The antioxidant activity was evaluated using DPPH (1.1-diphenyl-2 picrylhydrazyl) method. The result showed that the scrub cream at all concentrations tested fulfilled all physical characteristics required for good topical preparations. These included organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, pH, spreadability, and adhesion. The IC50 value of the scrub cream at the concentration of 1.4%, 2.8 %, and 4.2% were 30.72, 26.82, and 24.03 µg/mL, respectively. The IC50 values indicated that the scrub creams exhibit radical scavenging activities which categorized as strong activity antioxidants.

Abstract

Using decomposers of fungi to increase the composting process is very necessary. The research aims to determine the potential of Trichoderma sp. Gorontalo local isolate as a decomposer of maize stover. The research was carried out from November 2022‒January 2023 at the Biological Agents Laboratory, Agricultural Plant Protection Center, Gorontalo Province Agricultural Department. This research determined the ability of six isolates of Trichoderma, namely TZ11DI1 (T. asperellum), TZ21BN2 (T. breviconvenctum), TZ21BT1 (T. virens), TZ12PO1 (T. ghanence), TZ21DU1 (T. reesei), TZ21LU1 (T. dorothopsis), and control (EM4) to produce cellulase and as a maize stover decomposer. The parameters observed were the clear zone in the isolate growing media as well as the physical and chemical characteristics of the compost produced. The results showed that Trichoderma isolates produced cellulase and potential as a decomposer for maize stover, as indicated by the ability to increase NPK nutrient levels and reduce the C/N ratio of maize stover compost. Abstract

Program pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mengelola pekarangan dengan tanaman hortikultura secara berkesinambungan dapat menjaga kelestarian lingkungan hidup, adalah sesuai dengan harapan Undang Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2019, yaitu memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan, dengan pengelolaan tanaman hortikultura yang ramah lingkungan, karena berbahan dasar hayati, sehingga lebih aman bagi kelestarian lingkungan hidup, terutama produk panen, ekosistem pertanian dan petani serta masyarakat desa Modelomo. Program pemberdayaan masyarakat ini melibatkan mahasiswa, kelompok tani, kelompok Wanita tani, masyarakat Desa Modelomo dan sekitarnya serta dosen pembimbing lapangan. Melalui program ini diharapkan desa Modelomo menjadi kawasan pertanian ramah lingkungan dengan mengurangi input bahan kimia sintetik. Dampak kegiatan ini akan memotivasi pertanian yang bebas dari racun kimia sintetik, menuju pertanian berkelanjutan. Dimulai dari kelompok tani dan kelompok Wanita tani Desa Modelomo. Penetapan lokasi dilakukan melalui serangkaian proses penilaian yang dilaksanakan oleh Tim Dosen. Hasil kegiatan terlaksananya pembuatan rak vertikultur untuk tempat meletakkan wadah untuk penanaman tanaman hortikultura sebagai kegiatan utama/inti di setiap dusun sebagai percontohan dan kegiatan tambahan berupa kegiatan sosial keagamaan, kegiatan Kesehatan ibu dan anak, dan kegiatan game. Semua kegiatan ini terlaksana dengan baik dan selesai sesuai jadwal pelaksanaan sebelum penarikan mahasiswa dari desa.

Abstract

Trichoderma sp. indigenus Gorontalo merupakan mikroorganisme lokal yang berfungsi sebagai agen hayati untuk mengendalikan penyakit tanaman, meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman, dan berperan sebagai dekomposer. Kegiatan edukasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok tani di Desa Tunggulo, Kabupaten Bone Bolango, dalam memanfaatkan Trichoderma sp. indigenus Gorontalo sebagai agen hayati untuk mendukung pertanian organik. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan, diskusi kelompok, dan demonstrasi lapang aplikasi Trichoderma pada tanaman jagung, dengan partisipasi aktif dari seluruh peserta. Hasil sosialisasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap manfaat Trichoderma sp. indigenus Gorontalo. Demonstrasi lapang menunjukkan respon pertumbuhan tanaman yang lebih baik pada petak yang diberi perlakuan Trichoderma dibandingkan dengan kontrol. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi langsung dapat secara efektif mendorong adopsi teknologi hayati berbasis lokal yang ramah lingkungan, dan berpotensi memperkuat sistem pertanian organik berkelanjutan di tingkat petani.
