Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to compare the efficiency performance of high school education in Indonesiabased on its specialization groups, namely natural and social sciences. This study uses secondary data of high school published by Ministry of Education and Culture of Republic of Indonesia in 2016 which covers general description such as the numbers of schools, students, teachers, graduates, classes, et cetera. This study uses a bootstrap approach that is applied in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method, which compares the efficiency of each Decision Making Unit (DMU). To compare its efficiency, as many as 34 provinces are used as DMUs by using six input variables, namely the number of participants of national exam, students, schools, teachers, libraries, and the number of classrooms. The output variables are the number of graduates, the average score of national exam in Indonesian, English, and mathematics.The results indicate that all provinces have very good performance in organizing high school education for both natural and social sciences where the average efficiency scores of the traditional DEA are .99 and .98 for natural and social sciences, respectively. Meanwhile, its average scores from bootstrapped DEA are .98 and .96 for natural and social sciences, respectively. The empirical results also reveal that bootstrapped DEA provides better accuracy of efficiency scores than the traditional DEA. Overall, the provinces in Indonesia have better performance in organizing natural science than social science.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze mental health and anxiety levels during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study focused on students who were forced to study at home by e-learning. This study used as many as 210 students from junior high school, senior high school, and university levels which were selected randomly. Then, this study used a mixed-method by combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) was used to obtain empirical results to compare mental health and anxiety levels based on student age groups. The analysis results revealed there was a positive and significant influence of the students’ age group on mental health and anxiety levels during the outbreak of COVID-19. The analysis also concluded that students in the 12-15 years’ age group had the worst mental health level. Meanwhile, students in the 20-25 years’ age group are known to have the lowest anxiety level. Overall, this study found that Indonesian students experienced a decline in mental health and detected an increase in anxiety levels. The level of mental health and student anxiety has implications for their learning at home, which can lead to unsatisfactory learning outcomes.

Abstract

Curriculum always develops following the current times. the change of curriculum implementation encountered many obstacles both from schools, teachers and students. . This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires.   this research aims to identify the problems of teachers in implementing the 2013 curricullum learning in elementary schools. this research is expected can give useful information about the 2013 curriculum problem on how the way the teacher teaches to improve the  teaching learning qualityThe results of the study show that the problems of teachers come from the government, teachers, and students. The problems of the teacher include learning media, learning materials, learning methods, and the integration of the lessons learned in thematic learning. Students' problems are adaptation to thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum. The conclusion is that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum with good teacher quality can improve learning in school.

Abstract

The children's ability on literacy is essential for their ability development and academical achievement. The purposes of this article are 1) describing fairy tale stories, 2) describing the culture of literacy reading, 3) describing fairy to grower of literacy for primary school students. The research method used was literature study. The data was obtained by doing research study towards some literatures, books, reports and notes included the research problems. The results of this research explains about 1) the description of fairy tale stories, 2) the description of the culture of literacy reading, 3)the description of the usage of fairy tale stories as the literacy culture for children in primary school. The conclusion of this research is that fairy tale is fictional, imaginative, morale and understandable story so that it could be used as an alternative in growing the literacy culture particularly literacy reading for primary school students.

Abstract

This article aims to create new innovations on learning models so that learning in elementary schools can take place effectively and be able to strengthen student character development. The research method used is literature study. Data collection is carried out with studies of books, literature, records, and reports relating to the problem being solved. Literature sources in this study were obtained from books, journals, and research results. This research includes the process of systematically identifying the theory, finding literature, and analyzing documents that contain information related to the research topic. The results of this study are in the form of learning models that can be applied by the teacher to achieve the learning objectives effectively and strengthen student character development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh screen time terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri di Kecamatan Kebumen pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Metode penelitian kuantitatif digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan populasi 1.304 siswa dan sampel 316 siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Persyaratan analisis data adalah sebaran data yang normal dan terdapat hubungan linier. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan batas toleransi kesalahan 5%. Analisis regresi linier menunjukkan nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh screen time terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Sumbangan pengaruh tersebut sebesar 3,8% yang menunjukkan kontribusi screen time pada prestasi belajar siswa kelas V SD. Sebanyak 96,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Penelitian menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh screen time terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri di Kecamatan Kebumen tahun ajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bumirejo dalam pelaksanaan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian mixed methods (penelitian kombinasi) yaitu penelitian yang menggunakan dua metode penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan teknik observasi, tes tertulis, serta wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan model analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pelaksanaan AKM di SD Negeri 1 Bumirejo sudah terlaksana secara mandiri dengan kategori cukup; (2) hasil kemampuan literasi dan numerasi AKM sebesar 43% dan menunjukkan perbandingan hasil yang signifikan yaitu kemampuan literasi lebih tinggi dibandingan kemampuan numerasi. Hal ini diperoleh dari hasil data kuantitatif yaitu pada hasil tes AKM dengan kemampuan literasi sebesar 59% sedangkan kemampuan numerasi sebesar 41%. Serta didukung hasil data kualitatif dari observasi dan wawancara; (3) terdapat kendala pelaksanaan AKM pada guru, perangkat, dan siswa serta upaya sekolah yang dilakukan dengan latihan rutin, memotivasi, dan kerja sama. Berdasarkan analisis dan hasil diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kemampuan literasi dan numerasi AKM kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bumirejo mempunyai hasil kategori cukup dengan terdapat beberapa kendala serta upaya yang sudah dilakukan.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan salah satu kurikulum yang menekankan pada kreativitas saat pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini, yakni (1) mendeskripsikan langkah penerapan model Project Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dalam pembelajaran IPAS, (2) meningkatkan kreativitas melalui penerapan model Project Based Learning dalam pembelajaran IPAS, dan (3) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi dalam penerapan model Project Based Learning. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan tiga siklus dengan lima pertemuan. Data yang digunakan yaitu data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Analisis data melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penerapan model Project Based Learning terhadap guru pada siklus I, II, dan III, yaitu 81,94%, 88,88%, dan 94,44%. Sedangkan terhadap siswa pada siklus I, II, III, yaitu 80,55%, 88,18%, dan 93,05%. Penilaian kreativitas menggunakan indikator pemecahan, kerincian, kebaruan, dan kelancaran dengan hasil pada siklus I, II, dan III, yaitu 78,84%, 85,09%, dan 91,1%. Simpulan penelitian ini, yaitu penerapan model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dalam pembelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) mendeskripsikan penerapan model CIRC; (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia: dan (3) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi penerapan model CIRC. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif dengan subjek guru dan siswa. Data yang digunakan berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian ,menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model CIRC diterapkan dengan langkah: orientasi, pembentukan kelompok secara heterogen, pembagian bacaan sesuai dengan topik pembelajaran yang akan dibahas, diskusi kelompok, pembacaan hasil diskusi, kesimpulan, penutup; (2) hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia meningkat secara signifikan sebesar 22,74% pada siklus 1 sampai siklus 3; (3) kendala yang ditemui yaitu guru belum mempersiapkan pembelajaran dengan baik, siswa kurang aktif, efektivitas waktu presentasi kurang. Adapun solusi yaitu guru lebih mempersiapkan kelas, materi, dan siswa, guru merangsang siswa untuk bertanya jawab dan guru mengatur pergantian kelompok yang akan presentasi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran CIRC dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas II.

Abstract

Pendidikan menjadi suatu hal yang penting bagi setiap individu. Maju tidaknya suatu negara dipengaruhi dari kemajuan pendidikan di negara tersebut. Kemajuan sebuah negara di kemudian hari bergantung pada pendidikan yang didapatkan oleh anak-anak sekarang,. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan model pembelajaran quantum teaching untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS materi proklamasi kemerdekaan pada siswa kelas V SDN Blengorkulon Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023; (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS materi proklamasi kemerdekaan melalui model pembelajaran quantum teaching pada siswa kelas V SDN Blengorkulon Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023; (3) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi dalam penerapan model pembelajaran quantum teaching untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS materi proklamasi kemerdekaan pada siswa kelas V SDN Blengorkulon Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siklus I dengan persentase ketuntasan siswa sebesar 69,23%, siklus II sebesar 84,62%, dan siklus III sebesar 92,31%. Rata-rata nilai siswa siklus I pertemuan 1=75,96 dan pertemuan 2=78,85. Siklus II pertemuan 1=81,92 dan pertemuan 2=84,62. Siklus III=88,85. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model quantum teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
