Abstract

Education is invesment for the future. The phrase discribed how attractiveness the future with prosperity, a society desirable. But it could not be reached without efforts from anyone who involved in education process. School, family, and society was centered of education. In those institution education held. So, it was plausibility disscuss the cooperation of those institution. Our focus disscuss was homework as medium to cooperate between school and family. The cooperation between one institution with onether for long time means empowering the institution it self. Homework is a time honored practice that can enhance the development of skills and reinforce knowledge gained within the classroom when it used effectively and appropriately. The purposes of homework serve three main functions instructional, communicative, and political. In instructional function, homework is natural extention of the curricular programs because it is an integral component of instruction. It can also serve as a vital link between theschool and family.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the extent of achievement of competency standards PPL PPKHB sports and healtheducation UNY students in 2011. This study is expected to be used as PPKHB sports and health education PPLstudent evaluations. For relevant agencies such as the Faculty of Sport in particular study program Physical Education,Health and Recreation may be used as consideration to improve the quality of its students in order to have adequateprovision to be professional educators. This study is a quantitative descriptive study using survey method of datacollection instruments such as questionnaires. The population in this study was student PPL PPKHB sports and healtheducation UNY 2011 in SD Magelang regency. The subjects in this study were 90 students PPKHB sports and healtheducation the PPL in SD Magelang regency. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire or a questionnairehas been prepared by Joko Tri Kristiyanto, by having a reliability coefficient of 0.922 and a questionnaire has beendeclared invalid. Analysis using descriptive analysis set forth in the form of a percentage. The results showed thatthe level of student achievement of competency standards PPL sports and health education UNY PPKHB Programin 2011 in Magelang District elementary sufficient in the category. More detailed level of student achievement ofcompetency standards PPKHB sports and health education can be described as follows: 12 students (13.3 %) incategory, 65 students (72.2 %) in enough categories, and 13 students (14.5 %) in the category of less. From theresults of these studies are the most prominent competence Pedagogic competence as many as 12 students (13.3%). It can be concluded that the level of student achievement of competency standards PPL PPKHB sports andhealth education UNY 2011 in SD Magelang District has sufficient competence.Keywords: Evaluation, Standards of Competence, PPL, PPKHB Program.

Abstract

Peningkatan keterampilan sumber daya manusia menjadi salah satu yang penting dalam rangka menyelenggarakan sistem pendidikan yang berkualitas. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sumber daya manusia yang ada di sekolah adalah dengan pelatihan yang tujuan utamanya memberikan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna bagi peserta didik. Pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna menjadi salah satu tujuan utama dalam pembelajaran. Untuk mengemas pembelajaran yang menyenangkan diperlukan inovasi yang perlu dilakukan oleh pendidik. Salah satu inovasi yang dapat dilakukan oleh pendidik adalah dengan menggunakan macromedia flash. Melalui pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran macromedia flash, pendidik dapat membuat dan menyusun materi sesuai dengan kompetensi dan karakteristik masing-masing peserta didik. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di wilayah Kebumen kecamatan petanahan dengan jumlah peserta 32 guru SD. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pemahaman guru terhadap aplikasi macromedia flash yang awalnya hanya sebanyak 6,25% menjadi 96,87%; 2) respon guru terhadap pelatihan aplikasi macromedia flash termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 90,62%; 3) kendala dalam pelatihan ini adalah pengetahuan awal guru terhadap macromedia flash sangat rendah sehingga membutuhkan lebih banyak waktu dalam proses bimbingan

Abstract

Pembelajaran tematik merupakan pembelajaran dengan penggunaan tema. Fakta yang terjadi, guru mengalami hambatan untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran tematik, terutama dalam penyusunan worksheet. Worksheet yang dibuat oleh guru masih mengacu pada satu muatan pelajaran saja, pola worksheet masih sama dengan tahun-tahun sebelumnya, serta teknik evaluasi yang belum terfokus pada penilaian otentik. Tujuan pendampingan ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan hasil pendampingan penyusunan worksheet dalam pembelajaran tematik integratif pada tingkat sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Kebumen. Pendampingan dilaksanakan di SDN 1 Karanganyar, SDN 4 Karanganyar, dan SDN 3 Jatiluhur sejak bulan September hingga November 2020. Pendampingan ini diikuti oleh 31 guru dan 4 Kepala SD. Temuan pendampingan ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) guru mampu menganalisis komponen RPP hingga lampiran; (2) guru mampu membuat perencanaan, pelaksanaan, penilaian hingga refleksi dengan lesson design; (3) adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan motivasi dalam penyusunan worksheet dengan skor rata-rata aspek pemahaman 77% (cukup), aspek pembuatan 67, 335 (kurang), dan aspek implementasi 59,33% (sangat kurang). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendampingan penyusunan worksheet pada guru SD telah dilaksanakan dengan lancar.

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak diberlakukannya pembelajaran daring pada semua mata pelajaran, termasuk Bahasa Indonesia mencakup pengajaran keterampilan berbahasa, yang meliputi keterampilan mendengarkan, membaca, menulis dan berbicara. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali fakta tentang pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar pada masa pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah dasar se-Kabupatan Kebumen, Jawa Tengah. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah merencanakan pembelajaran bahasa dengan baik, melaksanakan pembelajaran bahasa dengan baik, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran bahasa dengan cukup baik melalui pemanfaatan media belajar online selama masa pandemic covid. Abstract

Abstract:This study aimed to prove the existence of (1) positive correlation of motivation to learn with mathematics learning achievement; (2) positive correlation of self-confidence with mathematics learning achievement; (3) positive correlation of  motivation to learn and self-confidence with mathematics learning outcomes of grade V students of public elementary schools in Buluspesantren Subdistrict in Academic Year 2018/2019. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational method. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. In the analysis of research data, the researcher used SPSS version 21 application in analyzing data correlation. The results showed that the correlation between learning motivation and self-confidence with mathematics learning outcomes was 0.7 and the contribution was 49.1%. Based on the analysis and discussion of the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between motivation to learn and self-confidence with the results of mathematics learning in the fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Buluspesantren Subdistrict.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop an effective training model for practising basic tennis groundstrokes for children aged 8-12 years old based on the action method coaching framework. Adopting the research and development stages as suggested by Borg and Gall (2003), this study included such stages as conducting preliminary research, identifying the theoretical bases for the model, designing the model, developing the components of exercises, and validating the finished model. The present study employed several methods including in-depth interviews, literature studies, as well as Delphi method to seek experts’ judgement. The data were analyzed by considerations of data reduction and thematic coding before the results were presented and conclusions were drawn. Additionally, this study also incorporated some close-ended questionnaire items and analyzed them by means of descriptive statistics to further confirm the findings. The findings suggest that the groundstroke training model based on the action method developed is declared feasible and approved for future small-scale field testing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the role of parents and coaches on the character of junior tennis players in Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). This research is a correlational study using a quantitative approach. Data colection techniques using a questionnaire. The sample for this study consisted of 32 junior tennis respondents in DIY using a purposive sampling technique. The reliability and validity of the instruments used in this study have been examined, and experts have been consulted. Technique for data analysis based on multiple regression. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, the significant value of the variable role of parents is p 0.05 and coaches is p 0.05. This shows that partially the role of parents and coaches influences the character of DIY junior tennis players. Using the F test, the analysis yielded a significance level of p less than 0.05, while the value of Rsquare=0.719, meaning that 71.9% of the characteristics of DIY junior tennis players are influenced by the role of parents and coaches. Thus, it can be concluded that the roles of parents and coaches simultaneously have an influence on the character of DIY junior tennis players. Therefore, in providing character education to junior tennis players both inside and outside the field, external encouragement is needed, both from parents and coaches.
