Abstract

This research focuses to explore the concept of moral education according to ibn Miskawih and Aristoteles. What are the similarities and differences in their opinions about morals education?. The main aspect of human self development is morality, namely the source of human behaviour that applied in everyday life. This research uses qualitative methods while the type of research is library research. Research is carried out based on the literature review. The results of the study is that the concept of ahlak education according to Ibn Miskawih an Aristoteles is related to character, soul and virtue, goodness and happiness, virtue and midpoint, early age education and akhlak purpose. The equality of the two concepts is that akhlak education is based on the soul of each individual. The difference is in describing the character, a tool to measure the middle attitude and middle position. Keywords; concept of Education, Morality, Ibn Miskawaih, Aristoteles

Abstract

The condition of Islamic education in Indonesia has existed since the Dutch colonial period, especially Islamic education is in a very dwarf condition that is not yet able to contribute to the progress of the nation. This happens due to the narrow mindset of the community in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an. In addition, there is discrimination by the colonialists against Islamic education. Education established by new Muslims around Islamic boarding schools which are considered unable to meet the demands of the times. This research focuses on the concept of Islamic education according to Mahmud Yunus by using qualitative research, content analysis approaches that examine historical, textual, and comparative approaches. Findings from the results of this study according to Mahmud Yunus, education is more specialized in moral education than the objectives of Islamic education, in the process of learning that places priority over methods. Thus the researcher is able to conclude about the concept of Islamic education from Mahmud Yunus from the objectives, methods, institutions, systems, and curriculum that really gives a great influence on Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The demands of the times and government policies to break the chain of COVID-19, namely using learning carried out online, causing teachers and lecturers to be obliged to take advantage of digital-based technology, one of which is Google classroom. The use of the Google classroom application has several weaknesses, such as being accessible only by a google account and the absence of notification that the material presented has been fully read by students so that the effectiveness of Google classroom is still in doubt. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of online learning through Google classroom in the educational administration practicum course. This study uses a qualitative method. This research data collection method through interviews to produce primary data. The result of this research is that Google classroom is effectively used in the educational administration practicum subject because students and lecturers can easily access it according to the needs of the lecture. The effectiveness of the Educational Administration Practicum Lecture can be seen from the student learning outcomes which are increasing every day through assignments and quizzes.
