Abstract

Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) IPB organizes a Lecturers Community Service Program, as an innovation of lecturers community service by facilitating lecturers to several villages in Bogor and outside of Bogor to directly interact and provide solutions for the community. The purpose of these activities is to enhance the implementation of science and technology from the university for society welfare. One of the villages partners in this program is Cihideung Udik Village with prominent agricultural potential. More than 60% of the land is used for agriculture. Yet, until now the community still face agriculture problems such as decreasing agricultural land area due to changes into residential house. This condition triggers a decrease in the availability of ground water, and cultivation type or pattern change. Previously the community cultivate paddy, but now the community shifts to plant secondary crops especially corn. Not only that, various complex problems in Cihideung Udik require innovative solution available at universities such as IPB University. Lecturer community service at Cihideung Udik was carried out through the socialization of necessary materials viz., future skills motivation, family financial planning, water saving irrigation, water saving cultivation, agrosilvofarmaka, mapping of village potential and marketing. This activity preceived to be useful and any material delivered by the lecturer in general, were needed by the community. Although there was a material that need to be evaluated in order to increase public knowledge. Therefore, the Lecturer Community Service Program have to evaluate and improve their system in responding to community problems and also continuously improve community welfare.

Abstract

Perubahan organisasi yang terjadi pada PT Sawit Permai Lestari mengakibatkan penurunan jumlah karyawan terutama di Divisi Finance & Treasury. Penurunan tersebut berdampak pada pelimpahan dan penambahan pekerjaan pada beberapa jabatan di Divisi Finance & Treasury. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengidentifikasi deskripsi pekerjaan karyawan Divisi Finance & Treasury PT Sawit Permai Lestari (2) mengukur dan menganalisis beban kerja karyawan pada divisi Finance & Treasury berdasarkan hasil analisis beban kerja, dan (3) menghitung jumlah kebutuhan karyawan optimal pada Divisi Finance & Treasury PT Sawit Permai Lestari. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sensus dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 16 orang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis beban kerja dengan perhitungan full time equivalent berdasarkan aktivitas unit kerja dan expert judgement. Hasil analisis beban kerja pada Divisi Finance & Treasury menunjukkan 25% (4 orang) memiliki beban kerja rendah (underload), 56.25% (9 orang) memiliki beban kerja normal (fit), 18.75% (3 orang)  memiliki beban kerja berlebih (overload). Kebutuhan tenaga kerja optimal pada Divisi Finance & Treasury adalah sebanyak 18 orang.

Abstract

Small Medium and Entreprises (SMEs) play a major role in the Indonesian economy. The trade sector is the largest, increasing added value by 63.5% compared to the manufacturing sector by 16.7% in 2021. To maintain business continuity, it is important to implement a system of appropriate compensation according to the 3P (Pay for Position, Person, and Performance) principles. Evaluation of the compensation system is important, especially for retail SMEs, where competition for talent and for attracting good human resources is crucial. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the compensation provided by SMEs to employees against the regional minimum wage, develop compensable factors, and evaluate compensation through the eckenrode system to determine the value of points per compensable factor criteria in the SMEs trade sector. This research is a descriptive quantitative study with a sample of 131 employees in six SMEs from Bogor, Depok, Lampung, Bali, and Lombok. The sources of data are secondary data in the form of employee salary surveys and literature studies. Methods of data analysis using the descriptive analysis method and the eckenrode system The results show that there are SMEs that have not implemented a compensation system that meets the regional minimum wage, so it is necessary to determine the new salary structure using ten compensable factors, with education having the highest weight. In the new salary structure, there is an increase in the total salary of 120.04% with a value per salary point of Rp. 17,944. Therefore, the trade sector SMEs can implement the new salary structure in order to improve the welfare of their employees by considering their capitals respectively.

Abstract

Work-Family-Conflict is a conflict that usually occurs in the female nursing profession, especially for those who are married, this is caused by a mismatch between role pressures from work and family so that it can affect their performance and organizational commitment. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of work-family conflict on the performance and organizational commitment of female nurses in Soedirman General Hospital at Kebumen City.The sample of this research is female nurses with married status who work in Soedirman General Hospital at Kebumen City with a total of 41 people. This study uses primary and secondary data sources as well as a quantitative research approach with the technique of determining the sample using purposive sampling and collecting sample data using a questionnaire. The method of analysis used descriptive analysis and associative analysis. Based on this study, it was found that work-family conflict had a negative and significant effect on the performance of female nurses and work-family conflict had an insignificant effect on the organizational commitment of female nurses in Soedirman General Hospital at Kebumen City.

Abstract

Penerapan manajemen waktu yang baik pada proses pembelajaran dan Penerapan manajemen waktu yang baik pada proses pembelajaran dan organisasi mahasiswa aktivis organisasi kemahasiswaan FEM dapat menghasilkan pencapaian akademik yang lebih maksimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan manajemen waktu mahasiswa aktivis organisasi kemahasiswaan FEM IPB, mengidentifikasi prestasi akademik mahasiswa aktivis organisasi kemahasiswaan FEM IPB, dan menganalisis pengaruh manajemen waktu terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa aktivis organisasi kemahasiswaan FEM IPB. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif dengan sumber data yang diperoleh dari data primer dan data sekunder. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Responden pada penelitian diambil dengan teknik quota sampling berjumlah 211 mahasiswa yang mewakili masing-masing organisasi kemahasiswaan FEM. Mayoritas mahasiswa aktivis FEM sudah memiliki kemampuan pengelolaan waktu yang baik dan indikator prestasi kumulatif yang sangat memuaskan. Pengaruh manajemen waktu terhadap prestasi akademik berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan pada indikator sikap terhadap waktu dan perencanaan jangka panjang. Kata kunci: mahasiswa aktivis, manajemen waktu, organisasi kemahasiswaan, prestasi akademik  ABSTRACT Application of time management in the learning process and student organizations of FEM student organizations can result in maximum academic achievement. This study was conducted to identify the time management abilities of student activists of FEM IPB student organizations, identify the academic achievements of student activists of FEM IPB student organizations, and analyze the effect of time management on the academic achievements of student activists of FEM IPB student organizations. The type of data in this study is quantitative data with data sources obtained from primary data and secondary data. The method used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear analysis with the help of SPSS software. Respondents in the study were taken using a quota sampling technique totaling 211 students representing each FEM student organization. The majority of FEM activist students already have good time management skills and very satisfactory cumulative achievement indicators. The effect of time management on academic achievement has a positive and significant effect on indicators of attitude towards time and long-term planning. Keywords: performance, supervision, work environment, work motivation

Abstract

Well-being and resilience are problems that often arise in various circles, including students and lecturers in higher education. This is due to pressure from both internal and external factors experienced. This research used 10 selected journals from a total of 679 articles found related to well-being and resilience in higher education in searches using the Scopus and ProQuest websites. Then a screening was carried out using the PRISMA-P method related to well-being, resilience, and higher education in the last 10 years. This research aims to determine the methods used to measure the well-being and resilience of lecturers and students. The results of this research explain that the methods that can be applied include quantitative research using analysis of variance (ANOVA) or Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) methods and qualitative research using interviews, focus group discussions, Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques (SMART), Mindfulness Training, and Coteaching Model. The advice researchers give for further research is to research what factors can influence well-being and resilience in higher education.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem of inefficiency faced by Rural Banks is caused by non optimal human resource's performance. There are many Rural Banks that have not enough employees, so many employees do double tasks, uncompleted management happened, and low competence-compensations, that obstruct the performance of them. Because of that, the objective of this research is to map the condition of Rural Banks'human resource based on its quality and quantity, identify the policy and strategy of Human Resource Development, evaluate the effectiveness of the rules that exist at Rural Banks, and formulate Rural Banks'cooperation's scheme with others agencies or education institution. This research was held at Jakarta, Bandung, Denpasar, Manado, Medan, Surabaya, and Yogyakarta. The methods of this research were explorative, quantitative description, and qualitative approach, such as field survey, purposive random sampling, and focus group discussion.The results are map of Rural Banks'human resource's condition from its distribution and quality, identification of Rural Bank's human resource's problems, recommendation of recruitment and selection system, analysis of position based on competency and its standard, recommendation of training, curriculum's scheme, recommendation of compensation, and cooperation with others agencies/education institution that provide labor that are ready to be used by Rural Banks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher workload as a basis for determining the optimal number of teaching staff at SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. Human resource management plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and sustainability of educational institutions. The research applies the workload analysis and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) method, following the guidelines of the Indonesian Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation (Permenpan RB) No. 1 of 2020. Using a saturated sampling method, the study involves all 48 civil servant teachers across various subject areas, including mathematics, science, social studies, languages, and general education. The findings reveal disparities in workload distribution, where several teachers experience overload and others underload conditions. These imbalances suggest the need for strategic adjustments, such as adding teachers in physics, chemistry, geography, and economics, while reducing honorary staff in subjects like religion and physical education. The managerial implications highlight the importance of applying the POAC management functions planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling—to achieve workload balance, optimize staffing, and enhance organizational effectiveness. Overall, workload-based human resource planning is essential for improving teacher efficiency and maintaining educational quality.
