Abstract

This study aimed to identify theperception of farmers to the compensation system, workplace culture, work engagement, and competencies;to identify the compensation system is based on a points system; and to determine the effect of compensation, workplace culture, work engagement, and competence on the competitiveness of the SMEs sectorof Dairy Cattle.This study was conducted at seven locations,namely, Bandung, Bogor, Malang, Yogyakarta, and Boyolali in early March until the end of July 2016. This study was conducted by quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach. The method of this study was the compensation analysis based on a points systemand PLS SEM. Sample selection has been done by purposive sampling method with a total 202 farmers. The results showed thatfactors affecting the improvement of the competitiveness of the SMEs sector is thedairy cow compensation and work engagement. To improve the compensation system has been applied to the SMEs sector of Dairy Farmers then in decision making in the conduct of salary to workers cattle can be based on nine factors worthy of compensation, such as work experience, skills, visual skills, social skills, responsibility for the equipment, responsibilities another initiative, physical condition and physical effort. Compensation system could be improved to better leads to the competitiveness of the SMEs sector of Dairy Farmers. Then for the work factor can be enhanced by engagement of internal livestock workers through full engagement in work, so that workers can feel more committed in doing their jobs as farmers,so that creates a sense of dedication to the job. That will affect the resulting performance and may affect to the competitiveness of the SMEssector of Dairy Cattle.

Abstract

Nowadays companies are facing with employee engagement problems. One way that can be done is to implement strong organizational culture in the company to increase employee engagement. Pertamedika IHC made a change in corporate culture that was expected to spur work motivation towards employee engagement in the company. Corporate Pertamedika IHC as the holding company has a big role in the application of corporate culture, because it is an example for business units. This study aimed to determine employee perceptions and analyze the influence of organizational culture, work motivation on employee engagement. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. The population in this study amounted to 79 employees with a sample of 68 respondents. The method of analysis in this research were descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. This study indicated a significant cultural relationship and work motivation simultaneously to employee engagement. Partially, organizational culture had no influence on employee engagement while work motivation affects employee engagement.

Abstract

Final project is an independent task that must be completed by final year undergraduate students as a graduation requirement. The process includes the preparation stage (proposal), implementation, thesis writing, and thesis defense. The purpose of this study is determine the symptoms of stress experienced by final year students, knowing the stress factors, and determine alternative stress management in writing their thesis. The method that used is non-probability sampling with a quota sampling technique. Total sample is 419 respondents. Descriptive and factor analysis are used for analytical tools. The results stated that IPB students felt stressed during the preparation of the thesis with physical symptoms that were felt easily tired and heart palpitations. The most contributing factor in student stress is the data analysis method. Alternative stress management for students is taking a short break, doing activities according to hobbies, setting a schedule for meetings with the supervisor, making graduation targets, and thinking positively.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to analyse primary engagement driver of millennial generation employees on creative economy-based enterprise, to analyse engagement factors of millennial employees and formulate strategies for improving engagement in accordance with the characteristics of millenial generation employees. Data used in this study were primary data that collected from questionaire and secondary data from BPS, Bekraf and Aon Hewitt. The method used in this research were descriptive analysis, factor analysis and tree diagram model. The results of the study show that work life balance was primary engagement driver of millennial employee according to millennial perspective, autonomy and career opportunity were primary engagement driver according to experts perspective. Organization, compensation and benefit, the work, team work, pride, and performance were six engagement factors of millennial employees on creative economy enterprise. Tree diagram was presented to improve engagement of millennial employees on creative econonomy enterprise by Co-Auto Balance Gamification formula. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis engagement driver utama karyawan Generasi Milenial pada perusahaan berbasis ekonomi kreatif, menganalisis faktor-faktor engagement karyawan Generasi Milenial yang bekerja pada perusahaan berbasis ekonomi kreatif dan merumuskan strategi peningkatan engagement yang sesuai dengan karakteristik karyawan Generasi Milenial. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan data sekunder dari BPS, Bekraf dan Aon Hewitt. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis faktor dan model diagram pohon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work life balance adalah engagement driver utama menurut persepsi karyawan Generasi Milenial, autonomy dan career opportunity adalah engagement driver utama menurut persepsi pakar. Analisis faktor membentuk enam faktor engagement, yaitu organization, compensation and benefit, the work, team work, pride, dan performance. Model peningkatan engagement karyawan Generasi Milenial disajikan dalam diagram pohon dengan formula Co-Auto Balance Gamification. Kata kunci— Ekonomi kreatif; Engagement driver; Milenial.

Abstract

Kesehatan merupakan faktor penting dalam kehidupan ini. Salah satu dari tenaga medis yang merupakan pihak yang bertanggung jawab memberikan pelayanan kesehatan adalah perawat. Beban kerja yang dimiliki oleh perawat tidak ringan. Itulah mengapa perawat rentan mengalami kelelahan dan stres yang dapat memengaruhi kinerja. Namun, bekerja merawat orang lain juga dapat menjadi menyenangkan bagi perawat itu sendiri yang juga akan memengaruhi kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebahagiaan dan stres kerja perawat dengan mengidentifikasi faktor faktor yang memengaruhinya. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder dengan jumlah 72 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji realibilitas, analisis deskriptif, uji Chi-Square dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebahagiaan dan stres kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Secara parsial, kebahagiaan memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja namun stres kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

Perubahan organisasi yang terjadi pada PT Sawit Permai Lestari mengakibatkan penurunan jumlah karyawan terutama di Divisi Finance & Treasury. Penurunan tersebut berdampak pada pelimpahan dan penambahan pekerjaan pada beberapa jabatan di Divisi Finance & Treasury. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengidentifikasi deskripsi pekerjaan karyawan Divisi Finance & Treasury PT Sawit Permai Lestari (2) mengukur dan menganalisis beban kerja karyawan pada divisi Finance & Treasury berdasarkan hasil analisis beban kerja, dan (3) menghitung jumlah kebutuhan karyawan optimal pada Divisi Finance & Treasury PT Sawit Permai Lestari. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sensus dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 16 orang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis beban kerja dengan perhitungan full time equivalent berdasarkan aktivitas unit kerja dan expert judgement. Hasil analisis beban kerja pada Divisi Finance & Treasury menunjukkan 25% (4 orang) memiliki beban kerja rendah (underload), 56.25% (9 orang) memiliki beban kerja normal (fit), 18.75% (3 orang)  memiliki beban kerja berlebih (overload). Kebutuhan tenaga kerja optimal pada Divisi Finance & Treasury adalah sebanyak 18 orang.

Abstract

IPB is consistently becoming the Top 4 Best Universities based on the result of The Ministry of Research and Higher-Education Assessment Score for three years. Meanwhile, IPB still has the lowest assessment score on student affairs among other three universities. One of the significant components is the student achievements. This research aim (1) to identify the characteristics of the excellent students, (2) to analyze the perceptions about factors that significantly affect student achievement and student achievement itself, (3) to analyze the factors that significantly affect student achievement and student achievement itself, (4) to determine the result of Net Promoter Score of alumni to IPB. This research focused on a case of Department of Management Alumni Graduates of 2009 - 2013 FEM IPB that was conducted in Bogor Agricultural University from January to April 2018. This research used both primary and secondary data. The data analysis of this research was conducted by descriptive analysis, SEM-PLS, and Net Promoter Score. This research resulted that the environmental, physiological, psychological and instrumental factors had a t-statistic as orderly followed by 2.053, 2.031, 2.701, 0.033, whereas these factors were concluded to significantly affect the students` achievement. Abstract

Generasi Z mendominasi di perguruan tinggi dan memiliki karakteristik yang unik yaitu cepat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi. Perguruan tinggi merupakan salah satu tempat pembelajaran untuk mempersiapkan sumberdaya manusia yang berkualitas era revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengidentifkasi karakteristik mahasiswa generasi Z (2) menganalisis pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap prestasi mahasiswa generasi Z. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Departemen Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Manajemen IPB angkatan 52-55. Metode pengambilan sampel yaitu Nonprobability Sampling dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan SEM-PLS menggunakan Smart Pls 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik responden merupakan bagian dari generasi Z berusia 18-22 tahun dan gaya belajar auditori memengaruhi prestasi secara signifkan.

Abstract

abstractThe Covid-19 pandemic has a negative impact on various types of foods and beverages business including a coffee shop. The objective of this research is to analyze consumer attitudes during the Covid-19 pandemic and the influence of consumer attitudes during the Covid-19 pandemic on purchasing decisions at coffee shop. The sample of this research is 100 respondents in Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok Tangerang, and Bekasi). Sampling methods using purposive sampling technique. Sampling data is collected by distributing questionnaires to consumers who had visited a coffee shop in Jabodetabek. The analysis data using Structural Equation Modeling method with Partial Least Squares. The results of the analysis show that consumers aware with the Covid-19 pandemic and its health protocols. Consumers also apply the government's Covid-19 health protocol. Consumer attitudes during this pandemic have a negative effect on purchasing decisions at coffee shop. abstrakPandemi Covid-19 cenderung berdampak negatif pada berbagai jenis usaha di sektor makanan dan minuman, termasuk coffee shop. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sikap konsumen pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dan pengaruh sikap konsumen pada masa pandemi Covid-19. terhadap keputusan pembelian di coffee shop. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah konsumen di Jabodetabek sebanyak 100 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner ke konsumen yang pernah melakukan kunjungan coffee shop di Jabodetabek. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Partial Least Squares. Hasil analisis menunjukkan konsumen mengetahui pandemi Covid-19 dan protokol kesehatan. Konsumen juga menerapkan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 dari pemerintah. Sikap konsumen pada masa pandemi ini berpengaruh negatif terhadap keputusan pembelian di coffee shop.
