Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the performances of the equity funds based on Risk-Adjusted Return using Sharpe, Treynor, Jensen, M^2and Information Ratio methods along with comparison between the performances of the equity funds and benchmark performance in research periods. The data analysis methods were Sharpe, Treynor, Jensen, M^2and Information Ratio methods. The data analysis using Sharpe and Treynor methods produced the same results; In 2011 there are 20 equity funds with positive performances. In 2012 there are 42 equity funds with positive performance, and in 2013 6 equity funds with positive performance. According to Jensen method, in 2011 there are 19 equity funds with positive performance. In 2012 there are 12 equity funds with positive performances. Meanwhile, in 2013 19 equity funds with positive performance. According to M^2 method, in 2011 there are 19 equity funds with positive performance. In 2012 there are 12 equiy funds with positive perfomance. Meanwhile, in 2013 23 equity funds with positive performance. According to Information Ratio method, in 2011 there are 19 equity funds with positive performance. In 2012 there are 12 equity funds with positive performance. Meanwhile, in 2013 19 equity funds with positive performance. The results of the comparison between the performances of the equity funds to benchmark show that in 2011, 18 equity funds had performances above the benchmark performance (outperform), in 2012, 13 equity funds had performances above the benchmark performance (outperform). Meanwhile, in 2013 there are 16 equity funds had performance above the benchmark performance (outperform).

Abstract

Abstrak: Sinyal Laba dalam Peristiwa Pemecahan Saham di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh informasi privat dalam peristiwa pemecahan saham yang diproksikan dengan split factor signal terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang diukur melalui laba bersih sesudah pajak, pertumbuhan laba bersih sesudah pajak dan laba per lembar saham. Total sampel yang dikumpulkan sesuai kriteria purposive sampling mencakup 55 sampel pemecahan saham. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa split factor signal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap terhadap kinerja keuangan yang diukur menggunakan laba bersih sesudah pajak perusahaan. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa split factor signal tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan yang diukur menggunakan pertumbuhan laba bersih sesudah pajak dan laba per lembar saham.Kata kunci: pemecahan saham, split factor signal, laba bersih sesudah pajak, pertumbuhan laba bersih sesudah pajak, laba per lembar sahamAbstract. Profitability Signal of Stock Split Events in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research aimed to test the effects of private information in stock split as proxied by split factor signal toward financial performance of firms as measured by earning after tax, growth of earning after tax and earning per share. The total samples collected based on purposive sampling criteria were 55 stock splits. Data analysis was conducted through multiple linear regression. The result of this research showed that split factor signal had positive and significant effect on financial performance masured by earning after tax. Besides that the results indicated that split factor signal had no significant effect on the financial performance measured by growth of earning after tax and earning per share.Keywords: stock split, split factor signal, earning after tax, growth of earning after tax, earning per share

Abstract

AbstractThe information age has the potential for a negative impact on materialism and a positive impact on ways of managing student finances. This can affect the financial well-being of students. This study aims to determine the antecedents of financial well-being in college students in terms of personal and behavioral characteristics. Personal characteristics and behavior are in terms of materialism, financial behavior, and financial self-efficacy variables. These variables are measured through a questionnaire instrument developed from previous research. The results of this study found that materialism and financial behavior had a negative and significant effect on financial well-being, but financial self-efficacy was not proven to have a significant effect on financial well-being. The results of this study provide practical implications in improving student financial well-being, such as through financial literacy to control student materialism and financial behavior. Keywords:Materialism, Financial Behavior, Financial Self-Efficacy, Financial Well-Being.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the business management skills of culinary MSME business actors in the Kronggahan area, Gamping. The training provided includes business management training and MSME skills improvement training which is carried out by providing training on variations in making bright moon culinary with various flavours. This service activity was arranged by the service team in an activity programme in the form of training delivered face-to-face. The training participants are estimated to consist of 30 people who work as culinary MSME players. The materials presented were culinary business management training and product diversification. products and various flavours of martabak products according to the demand of the target audience. The service activities were carried out in the form of training, socialisation and discussion for culinary business actors in the Kronggahan area of Yogyakarta Special Region. The first activity was carried out offline through face-to-face meetings with a total of 30 participants with socialisation material for entrepreneurial activities. The second activity was also carried out offline, namely through activities to provide skills to culinary business actors in diversifying selling products, namely martabak and terang bulan with various flavours, which were given by resource persons we brought in from culinary experts. A total of 30 participants attended the offline activity.
