Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the effect of the operational costs, third-party funds, murabaha financing volume, Bank Indonesia’s interest rate and inflation on murabaha margin income at Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. The period used in this research is 3 years, from 2016 to 2018. This study's population were 14 Islamic commercial banks that have been and are still registered with the Financial Services Authority from 2016 to 2018. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 9 Islamic commercial banks. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Before conducting the multiple linear regression analysis, a classic assumption test was carried out to ensure that the model did not have normality, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation, and multicollinearity. The results show that partially operational costs have a positive and significant effect on murabaha margin income, third-party funds have a negative and significant effect on murabaha margin income, murabaha financing volume has a positive and significant effect on murabaha margin income, while the Bank Indonesia’s interest rate and inflation do not influence on Murabaha margin income.

Abstract

Penelitian industri perbankan ini bertujuan untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dalam membentuk profitabilitas suatu bank. Dalam penelitian ini tidak hanya mencakup satu faktor spesifik saja namun juga beberapa faktor sekaligus. Faktor yang diteliti antara lain, Faktor bank spesifik, faktor industri spesifik, dan faktor makroekonomi. Untuk Faktor bank spesifik kami menggunakan variabel risiko kredit, risiko likuiditas, bunga implisit, efisiensi perbankan, ukuran bank. Untuk faktor industri spesifik kami menggunakan variabel konsentrasi pasar. Untuk faktor makroekonomi kami memasukkan variabel tingkat inflasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknik estimasi GLS (Generalized Least Square). Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah bank-level data tahunan. Data yang digunakan periode 1997-2015. Periode ini dipilih karena selama periode ini dapat menangkap pengaruh dua periode krisis yang berbeda. Kedua periode krisis tersebut adalah krisis 1998 dan krisis 2008. Hasil penelitian menunjukan variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan pada perubahan NIM antara lain risiko kredit, bunga implisit, efisiensi perbankan, ukuran bank, dan variabel konsentrasi pasar. Variabel krisis juga diuji pada pengujian kedua dan menunjukkan pengaruh yang negatif signifikan pada perubahan NIM.

Abstract

This research focuses on the banking industry in ASEAN. The ASEAN economy is one of the economic forces that needs to be considered. This is due to the fast and significant economic growth of ASEAN even in the midst of the 2008 financial crisis. In this study, we will look at the specific influence of banks, industry, macroeconomics and Country Governance Indicators in determining banking performance in ASEAN. The research period was taken during the post-crisis period, namely 2011 to 2019. The dependent variable used was bank performance as proxied by EARTA, while the independent variables were divided into 4 main categories, specific banks, industry, macroeconomics, and Country Governance Indicators. Country Governance Indicator variable using Corruption Index. The data used is sourced from the Osiris Database for all banks in ASEAN. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that the bank-specific variables; there are 4 variables that have a significant effect on banking performance, industry indicators have no effect on bank performance, macroeconomic specific variables have a significant effect on bank performance, while the Country Governance Indicator proxied by the Corruption Index has an effect on bank performance.

Abstract

Batik kayu merupakan warisan luhur bangsa Indonesia, namun batik kayu Krebet yang dihasilkan kurang berkembang dan tidak mengikuti tren perubahan selera konsumen. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdi Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta melakukan pelatihan motif dan bentuk perkakas modern bagi pengrajin batik Kayu Krebet. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode Participation action research (PAR) yang dilakukan di Joglo Semar Desa Wisata Krebet. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30 peserta pelatihan. Tahapan pengabdian ini terdiri dari Observasi dan wawancara pendahuluan, sosialiasi, pelatihan dan penerapan teknologi, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi. Sedangkan kegiatan pelatihan di lapangan terdiri atas pembukaan, pemaparan materi, praktik membatik, tanya jawab, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan temuan di lapangan, peserta pelatihan antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan. Peserta pelatihan aktif dalam kegiatan diskusi maupun praktik membatik. Hal ini dikarenakan pengabdi memperkenalkan batik kayu yang fungsional serta adanya inovasi desain, motif, dan fungsi baru. Pada awalnya batik kayu yang dihasilkan hanya berbentuk motif batik tradisional diubah menjadi motif organis dan non organis (geometris) dengan perwarnaan monokromatik.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the business management skills of culinary MSME business actors in the Kronggahan area, Gamping. The training provided includes business management training and MSME skills improvement training which is carried out by providing training on variations in making bright moon culinary with various flavours. This service activity was arranged by the service team in an activity programme in the form of training delivered face-to-face. The training participants are estimated to consist of 30 people who work as culinary MSME players. The materials presented were culinary business management training and product diversification. products and various flavours of martabak products according to the demand of the target audience. The service activities were carried out in the form of training, socialisation and discussion for culinary business actors in the Kronggahan area of Yogyakarta Special Region. The first activity was carried out offline through face-to-face meetings with a total of 30 participants with socialisation material for entrepreneurial activities. The second activity was also carried out offline, namely through activities to provide skills to culinary business actors in diversifying selling products, namely martabak and terang bulan with various flavours, which were given by resource persons we brought in from culinary experts. A total of 30 participants attended the offline activity.
