Abstract

The development of this modern era requires every human being to be fluent in technology. There are so many positive sides to technology that humans can get. Nevertheless, there is also a negative side to the existence of technology. One of them is the growing number of crimes in cyberspace. Hoax is one of the crimes committed in cyberspace. This study describes the digital legal knowledge of students about Hoaxes. This study used a sample of 206 students at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. This research uses qualitative research methods with purposive sampling techniques. Data were taken using interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results showed that students were digital citizens, and their digital legal knowledge about hoaxes was still lacking. Citizenship Education is one of the subjects in schools that can teach legal provisions regarding hoaxes. Policy recommendations that can be given are as follows, (1) Teachers can use various interactive learning models where students can actively seek and understand the legal provisions regarding hoaxes. In addition, the teacher must also be active and creative in linking the subject matter with legal regulations regarding hoaxes. (2) The government must always improve the curriculum’s content to develop according to the needs of students in the present.

Abstract

Globalization has brought changes in all aspects of life in the political, economic, social or cultural fields. The purpose of this study is to determine the obstacles in the application of digital ethics. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data sources used were informants (Citizenship Education Teachers and students). Data collection techniques used were interviews and observation. Analysis of the data used is interactive model data analysis. The steps of the research procedure are the preparation stage, the data collection stage, the data analysis stage, and the preparation stage. The results showed that some students who at the time of their teaching and learning activities did not pay attention to the teacher, because they were playing mobile phones when teaching and learning activities applications that were opened to male students more often open games, but for female students more often open social media. The teacher also has the right policy by giving strict sanctions in the form of punishment so that students have good ethics during teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Various cases of religious and social intolerance reflect that Indonesian society needs to improve and strengthen tolerance. Several ways are taken so that tolerance can be instilled and strengthened through both formal and informal aspects. From an informal perspective, the community has a way to instill tolerance through community activities including Jaga Sesama community. The purpose of this study was to determine the strengthening of tolerance through the Community Watch Guard conducted by using qualitative methods and purposive sampling techniques. The research subjects were members of Jaga Sesama community. Data collection techniques by interview and observation. The results of the study showed that community activities such as Reading Qur’an and Mbois (Discussion Islamic Chat) helped strengthen the tolerance of the Surakarta community which was shown through mutual respect, mutual respect for each other or different religions, accepting differences and always maintaining harmony that could strengthen unity and integrity.

Abstract

Nowadays, quality learning from teachers is an important factor in preparing graduates who are able to compete competitively. The relationship of the millennial students and technology transforms the way they get to know the world. Therefore, achievement, guidance and motivation for the current generation is a challenge. Students' perceptions are directly related to self-concept, motivation, effort, and help in finding behaviors. A perception is one’s response resulting from a stimulus received. Students’ learning processes cannot be separated from perceptions as a process of understanding information. Teachers must be able to develop a strategy that ensures learning conducted by teachers is in accordance with what the students expect and desire.  A good student's initial perception of the material being studied makes students enthusiastic in participating in learning.  A good perception of the object will affect motivation and desire to learn, which will affect the students’ mastery of concepts. Students’ perceptions can contribute to their mastery of concepts in civic learning. This research aims to determine the significant effect of students' perceptions of learning civics on their mastery of concepts. The research was conducted on 64 students. The instrument was tested for validity and reliability. The data were then analyzed using the One-Way Anova test. The results showed students' perceptions of civic education learning significantly influences their mastery of concepts.

Abstract

Pembelajaran online dampak pandemi memberi kesulitan terhadap guru dalam merancang rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan melaksanakan pembelajaran sikap kewarganegaraan. Ditambah perkembangan tekhnologi dan kebijakan perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan tindak nyata di lapangan. Kenyataan dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa guru guru masih mengalami kendala dalam menyikapi kebijakan yang ada terkait konstruksi rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Solusi yang ditawarkan terhadap permasalahan tersebut adalah workshop dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun desain instruksional berdasarkan kebijakan terbaru (RPP 3 Komponen) menggunakan aplikasi guna penguatan sikap kewarganegaraan siswa. Diakhir pelatihan diharapkan guru dapat menghasilkan satu RPP berupa e-RPP yang berdasar pada oreintasi sikap kewarganegaraan. Metode kegiatan berupa workshop secara  daring menggunakan web meeting zoom,channel youtube, google classroom, dan aplikasi  e RPP. Luaran pengabdian berupa prosiding isbn/ jurnal issn, video dan publikasi  media online.

Abstract

This study would like to reveal the implementation and strategies used by public officials in the policy process related to dam construction in Lampung Province. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. Within the scope of Lampung Province, the policy of the Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) through the Balai Besar Wilayah Mesuji-Sekampung (BBWS) is to complete the construction of the Margatiga Dam, one of its duties is to ensure the implementation of public and legal communications as well as complaints from the local community. The study results indicate that information disclosure has been seen in planning and performance transparency. This is evidenced by the involvement of the community through indigenous community forums, community coordination with implementing public relations, and holding socialization for each village.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kerentanan ketahanan pangan di Desa Kemujan yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan lahan pertanian, ketergantungan pada distribusi pangan dari luar daerah, serta kondisi cuaca yang sering menghambat aktivitas ekonomi dan logistik. Oleh karena itu, penerapan konsep urban farming berbasis pertanian berkelanjutan menjadi penting sebagai solusi alternatif dalam meningkatkan ketersediaan pangan rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi sosialisasi, edukasi, dan praktik langsung kepada masyarakat mengenai teknik budidaya tanaman di lahan terbatas, seperti pembuatan raised bed, pengelolaan media tanam, pemupukan organik, irigasi sederhana, serta pengendalian hama secara ramah lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan pekarangan sebagai sumber pangan, serta meningkatnya kesadaran akan pentingnya pertanian berkelanjutan. Selain itu, masyarakat mulai mampu mengolah limbah organik menjadi kompos sebagai bagian dari sistem pertanian yang lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam mendukung kemandirian pangan skala rumah tangga dan memperkuat ketahanan pangan desa. Dengan demikian, penerapan urban farming memiliki peran penting sebagai strategi adaptif dalam menghadapi keterbatasan sumber daya dan ketidakpastian distribusi pangan.
