Abstract

Development on batik production processes inovation including dyeing process and pattern design become one of important factors that increase selling and production. Blitar city has unique batik product namely koi fish batik. The product is less popular among others batik from different city, so training on dyeing process with natural dye are essential to do. The objective of the training were to improve skill of dyeing process. The training for batik tulis group partner which Asih Matahari group included introduction of natural dye for batik dyeing and introduction of eco friendly fixation agent for dyeing process and use of padder tools to improve efficiency of dye coating process. The result of the training showed that batik group can use natural dye and do the dyeing with fixation agent Chitosan . Response of the training member showed high enthusiasm and interested toward training..

Abstract

Rice husk ash is a material that mostly contains silica (SiO2). Silica can be used as a raw material for various industries. This research is an experimental study, covering the synthesis of rice husk ash with various calcination temperatures, namely 800 oC, 900 oC, and 1000 oC. The purpose of this study was to identify the type of solid and crystalline phases of RHA so that the results of this study could be used as a basis for further research on the use of RHA. The results of the synthesis produced four types of samples, namely samples calcined at a temperature of 800 oC (coded S-800), calcined at 900 oC was gray (S-900 A), calcined at 900 oC was white (S-900 P), and samples were calcined at a temperature of 1000 oC (S-1000). Characterization using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) showed that all samples included crystalline solids with the tridymite crystal phase and cristobalite were detected in samples S-800, S-900 P, S-900 A, and S-1000. Cristobalite and tridymite are silica mineral polymorphs with the same chemical formula as quartz, SiO2, but have different crystal structures. The percentage of crystallinity of the sample was calculated by comparing the sample which has the highest peak intensity (S-1000). The crystallinity results for S-1000, S-900 P, and S-900 A were 100%, 96%, 79%, and 32%. The lower the calcination temperature, the smaller the percentage of crystallinity. Abstract

Batik Madura merupakan salah satu batik popular di Indonesia tidak terkecuali batik Sumenep yang merupakan daerah paling Timur Pulau Madura. Batik Sumenep salah satunya berkembang di desa Marengan Laok kecamatan Kalianget kabupaten Sumenep. Motif desain batik tulis yang dikembangkan di desa tersebut adalah motif topeng sehingga disebut batik topengan. Pengembangan proses produksi batik tulis meliputi proses pewarnaan dan desain motif merupakan faktor penting untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan kapasitas produksi, sehingga pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait proses pewarnaan dengan pewarna alam perlu dilakukan. Pelatihan yang dilakukan terhadap kelompok mitra pengrajin batik desa Marengan Laok meliputi pelatihan pembuatan pewarna alam dari daun Mangga yang melimpah di kabupaten Sumenep.

Abstract

Kondisi perekonomian Indonesia yang semakin buruk semenjak pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada banyaknya tenaga kerja yang kehilangan pekerjaan ditambah dengan tenaga kerja baru yang belum mendapat pekerjaan karena banyak perusahaan berhenti berusaha. Hal ini menambah tingkat pengangguran terbuka hingga mencapai 7,07% pada awal tahun 2020 dan mulai turun menjadi 5,18% di tahun 2021 seiring dengan semakin baiknya pandemi dan pulihnya perekonomian. Salah satu cara untuk mengurangi tingkat pengangguran adalah dengan menciptakan lapangan kerja melalui berwirausaha terutama dikalangan anak muda, serta ditunjangan dengan pemanfaatan kemajuan teknologi e-commerce dan sistem informasi akuntansi (SIA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi calon wirausaha muda mengambil keputusan untuk berwirausaha. Faktor-faktor pada penelitian ini adalah Pemanfaatan e-commerce, Fasilitas Sistem Informasi Akuntansi, dan Modal Usaha. Sampel responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 169 yang berasal dari anggota 5 (lima) HIPMI Perguruan Tinggi Kota Semarang, yaitu Undip, Unnes, Unisbank, Upgris, dan Udinus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang diberikan pada anggota HIPMI Perguruan Tinggi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji validitas dan reliabilitas, analisis deskriptif jawaban responden, uji asumsi klasik, dan regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan e-commerce dan SIA berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan keputusan untuk berwirausaha. Sedangkan modal usaha tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan keputusan untuk berwirausaha.

Abstract

Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) are a sustainable photovoltaic technology for addressing the global energy crisis through the conversion of solar energy using photosensitive dyes. This study aims to investigate the effect of pH variation during extraction on the optical, electrochemical, and photovoltaic characteristics of brazilin dye from sappanwood (Caesalpinia sappan L.) for DSSC applications. Brazilian extraction was performed using Microwave-Assisted Extraction (MAE) with pH conditioning from 2 to 12. UV-Vis spectroscopy showed an increase in light absorbance at 400–800 nm. The pH 8 dye exhibited a maximum absorption peak at 444.59 nm due to the formation of a quinoidal base through partial deprotonation of the hydroxyl (-OH) group. FTIR characterization confirmed the chemical structure of the dye with characteristic absorption spectra of broad bands at 3000–3500 cm-1 for the phenolic hydroxyl group and peaks at 2800–3000 cm-1 for aromatic C-H stretching vibrations, as well as aromatic C=C and C=O stretching vibrations at 1600–1400 cm-1. Energy band gap analysis revealed that the dye at pH 2–12 has an energy gap range of 0.1788–0.5355 eV. Optimizing the extraction pH revealed that pH 8 yields the most effective dye performance, resulting in a peak DSSC efficiency of 2.17%, a minimal charge transfer resistance of 100 Ω, and the narrowest energy bandgap at 0.1788 eV. Weakly basic conditions enhance dye molecule conjugation, strengthen bonding with TiO2, and optimize the overall charge transfer process. The research findings confirm the potential of optimizing natural dye extraction conditions as a strategy to enhance DSSC efficiency in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.
