Chemistry Ludo is one of the game based learning media as a variety of students exercises to stabilize their concepts in Molecular Geometry material. The purpose of this study is to produce Chemistry Ludo as a learning medium for Molecular Geometry material and to determine its validity and practicality level based on media functions and characteristics of practical media. The type of this research is Research and Development using 4-D (Four D) models, namely (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. This learning medium was validated by two lecturers majoring in Chemistry at FMIPA UNP and two Chemistry teachers at SMAN 2 Pariaman. Determining the level of practicality was obtained from two Chemistry teachers and 34 students of XI IPA 2 class at SMAN 2 Pariaman. The instruments used in this research were the validation and practicality questionnaires. The technique of data collection was questionnaires. In analyzing the data, the researcher used Cohen Kappa moment formula. The results of analysis showed that Chemistry Ludo as a learning media in the Molecular Geometry material has a validity level of 0.82 with a Very High category and the practical values of teachers and students are 0.96 and 0.86 with a very high category. This data showed that the development of Chemistry Ludo can be used as a learning medium in Molecular Geometry material.

The chemical ladder snake game is one of the variations in learning media in doing practice questions. This type of research is Research and Development (R and D) using the 4-D model which includes the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research is limited to the develop part of the validity test. The instrument used was a validity questionnaire given to two UNP chemistry lecturers and two chemistry teachers at SMA N 3 Padang. Data collection techniques were analysed using Aiken V formula. Data analysis showed that the level validity of the chemical ladder snake was 0,75, so it can be concluded that the chemical ladder snake developed was valid as a learning media for the acid-base material of class XI SMA or MA.

This research is motivated by the lack of student participation in doing the exercises and the ineffectiveness of individual training because they are not competitive. This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of the use of chemo-edutainment-based ludo chemical (CET) games on the Colloid System material on the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMAN 3 Pariaman. The type of research used was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of class XI MIPA SMAN 3 Pariaman. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique so that the XI MIPA 1 class was selected as the experimental class and XI MIPA 2 class as the control class. Research data includes learning outcomes from the cognitive domain. The research instrument is a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice questions that have been tested. The data analysis technique used was the two average similarity test (t-test) to determine the differences in learning outcomes and the N-Gain test to determine the increase in student understanding. The results showed an increase in understanding of learning outcomes that were better in the experimental class than in the control class. This is evidenced by the average posttest value of the experimental and control classes of 84.33 and 78.78 respectively and supported by hypothesis testing carried out by the t-test, namely count (2.607) bigger than t1-alpha (1.67) at the level of reality alpha = 0.05 with dk = 70 and opportunities t0.95. This is also evidenced by the average experimental class N-Gain test of 0.77 with a high category and a control class of 0.67 with a moderate category. Thus it can be concluded that the use of media is an effective game of ludo chemical chemo-edutainment (CET) with a high category in improving the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMAN 3 Pariaman.

Remedial program is given to the students who do not pass the minimum criteria of learning result. Based on the “KTSP” Technical guidance evaluation in 2008 and 2009, generally teacher only gave retest to the student who didn’t pass the examination, without giving any treatment to pass the learning outcome which was not pass before. It happened because there wasn’t enough time to do this program. The solution was by using learning social media Edmodo which can be accessed online, so the students can do remedial program whenever and wherever they want without preparing remedial time at school. So, the Chemistry teachers in Kabupaten Solok was trained to use edmodo for remedial program. Besides, this media was also used for online teacher forum. This training was evaluated through questioner about practicality of social media edmodo for remedial program and online teacher forum. The result was analyzed by Kappa Cohen Formula with the value of k is 0,7, it means has high practice value.

Aspergillus flavus and Rhizopus stoloniferus are microbes that can cause damage to the food. The existence of these microbes in food can cause illness in humans and animals. One of the efforts made to inhibit the growth of microbes in food is the use of preservatives. Preservatives are being developed right now is the use of organic preservatives that use liquid smoke. Liquid smoke is the smoke of the liquid condensate from the pyrolysis of materials containing cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin such as coco nut. From the pyrolysis of the resulting compounds such as phenol and derivatives, organic acids and carbonyl compounds, which can act as an antimicrobial. This study aims to determine the effect of different concentrations of liquid smoke areca husk pyrolysis results on the growth of microbes that cause food decay, Aspergillus flavus and Rhizopus stoloniferus. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Chemistry State University of Padang with this type of research is experimental. Testing was conducted using paper disc method. Design research is done completely randomized design (RAL) with liquid smoke concentration variation factor. The results showed that the concentration difference factor gives a different effect on the ability of liquid smoke as a result of pyrolysis coco nut antifungal. Highest zone of inhibition at a concentration of 25% (v / v) for Aspergillus flavus is 12 mm, while for Rhizopus stoloniferus is equal to 10 mm.

Rendang is one of the typical foods of the Minangkabaunese in West Sumatra. Many people like to consume rendang because rendang has a distinctive taste because in making rendang the type of meat, coconut milk and spices used greatly affect the aroma and taste produced. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of aroma, color, texture, and taste of beef rendang with variations in the addition of Cinnamomum verum. The hedonic test of beef rendang with variations in the addition of C. verum was carried out on 50 panelists. Panelists present 6 samples with 6 different sample numbers. Panelists were asked to rate how much preference there was for the product using a hedonic scale. The hedonic test results showed that the less C. verum added, the better the taste produced. As for the aroma and color, there is no significant difference among these products

Coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) is a spice known to have active ingredients, one of which is anti-cholesterol. Some regions use coriander as an ingredient in making beef rendang. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of preference for color, meat texture, seasoning texture, taste and aroma of beef rendang made using six variations of the addition of coriander rhizome, namely with levels: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 grams/500 grams. beef. The organoleptic test method uses the hedonic test, namely the level of preference test with 40 panelists of UNP chemistry students 2020. The hedonic test results show that, the addition of coriander seasoning to beef rendang in general there is no significant change (p> 0.05) to the original rendang.

ABSTRACTThe chemical ludo game is a learning media that is useful as an exercise to strengthen the stabilization of students' thermochemical concepts. This study aims to develop the ludo-chemistry game media against thermochemical material and determine the level of validity of the chemical ludo-play media. This type of research is a Educational Desaian Research with a PLomp development model. The development of the ludo chemistry game is limited to the expert review stage. Data were collected using a validation questionnaire. Validation was carried out by four validators, and for the 0ne to one test, it was carried out by three students. The data analysis technique used Aikens V. The results of the media validation test had a V value of 0.85 with the valid category. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Educational Desaian Research dengan model pengembangan plomp. Pengembangan permainan ludo kimia dibatasi sampai tahap expert review. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket validasi. Validasi dilakukan oleh empat orang validator, dan untuk uji one to one dilakukan oleh tiga orang peserta didik. Teknik analisa data menggunakan formula Aikens V. hasil uji validasi media memilik nilai V sebesar 0,85 dengan kategori valid. ABSTRACTThis study aims to produce a variety of exercises in the form of the Chemical Snakes and Ladders Game to strengthen students concepts on the Atomic Structure material and determine the level of validity of the media function. This type of research is Educational Design Research with a Plomp model consisting of 3 stages, namely: (1) preliminary research, (2) prototyping phase and (3) assessment phase. This research is limited to the stages of prototyping and formative evaluation to the stage of one to one and expert review. The expert review assessment was carried out with a validity test by 3 chemistry teachers at SMAN 7 Padang and 2 chemistry lecturers from FMIPA UNP.
