Abstract

Development of Project-Based Learning Based on Lokal Wisdom Model-Oriented in Creative Thinking Ability and Learning Independence AbstractDecreased student interest in cultural diversity is becoming increasingly large, especially among teenagers. The Reason is globalization which is rapidly shifting the nation’s cultural values. The development of Project-Based Learning models (PjBL) based on Lokal Wisdom (LW) is one of the efforts to increase students' interest in cultural preservation through learning. This study aims to produce a PjBL-LW mathematical learning model that is oriented towards improving creative thinking abilities and self-regulated learning in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research was conducted on the second-semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program Majalengka University Academic Year 2018/2019. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) model, namely Determine, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The results showed that: (1) The PjBL-LW model developed has fulfilled valid criteria, practice and effective for creative thinking abilities, and (2) There is a significant positive effect between self-regulated learning and mathematical creative thinking ability.

Abstract

Nantang Village is an area that is prone to movement of the land, and is a hilly area. The location of soil movement occurs mostly in plantation areas which are located on hillside, has a low level of soil stability and can cause soil movement if there is a change of plants from strong and deep roots to small-rooted plants. To be able to overcome soil movements that can cause landslides, jackfruit seedlings are planted in areas prone to soil movement. The development of farmer household food security is carried out by training and counseling on planting vegetables in polybags and raising catfish in buckets which are expected to ensure adequate, safe, quality, nutritious food availability and food consumption, and close to the community itself. Community Service Activities Food Security Schemes (PbM-KP) can provide benefits and conveniences for the community in meeting their daily needs to get vegetables and fish.

Abstract

Lesson study is a process of improvement the quality of learning activities that emphasize a collaborative process for a group of teachers to identify learning problems, design learning scenarios, implement and evaluate through continuous plan, do, see and reflection activities. The Teacher Working Group (Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG)) for Early Childhood Education in Tamansari sub-district has the potential to form a learning community through lesson study, as an effort to develop early childhood teacher competency in developing materials and designing learning activities in the classroom. Mathematics, Language and Arts are very important to be introduced and mastered by children from an early age. The objectives of this community service are 1) Forming a learning community through lesson study activities at the early childhood education in Tamanasari sub-district 2) increasing teacher knowledge about lesson study activities in developing the quality of learning at early childhood institutions in Tamansari Sub-district, Tasikmalaya City, 3) Assisting lesson study activities in working groups in early childhood teacher in Tamansari District. The method used is training and mentoring lesson study. The results of community service are 1) The formation of a school-based learning community in early childhood education at Tamansari sub-district. 2) Increasing the knowledge of earli childhood teachers in carrying out lesson study activities, 3) Increasing the professional and pedagogical competence of teachers in developing mathematics, language and dance learning in early childhood education.
